Horrible service! I am sure they use used windscreens! I found this little mark in the corner after they replaced my windscreen the screen wasn’t even wiped clean after installation they offer a cheaper price over the phone and then request for more money on the day - penny was very rude and explained they’re would be no refund so I was stuck and had to pay the extra £180 for this “used screen” appalling service AVOID!!

Horrible company very unprofessional they do not have a fixed price list! I booked in and they changed the price unreliable! Avoid!! Poppy was also very unprofessional and misleading over the phone I really do not recommend this place

(I bought the car (Peugeot 5008 MPV) with a crack on LH (passenger- "near") side and small chip in the middle of screen ((was)/attempted) repair), could've been MOT failure, but I got it under the advisory... (under 40mm in circumference))
Often people go through "insurance companies games" with things like it... I couldn't due to the new big crack from inside (I'm not going to "spill the beans" who's done it).
Kinda not a "biggy", but at the same time it is, especially if you'll try to find windscreen via places like AutoGIas5 and similar "pen pushers" (~£560'ish + for my MPV, if via insurance) almost doubles up...
I've spent on her so much already- "mere" £280 "all in", as per quote, seems very reasonable to me.
So replacement glass is NordGlass E20 (made in Poland)... don't expect to be any better or worse, than made anywhere else in Europe, glad it's not import from Asia, as quality of those is bit off a "hit and miss"
The chap, that did (I've no any other connections, do not imply to use him, actively promoting or any other way connected to) - Barry from ChurchillAutoGazing.co.uk
He's on FB, InstaMalarchy etc.. , better be emailed for a quote, than called on a mobile first, from #Bracknell, covers places like #Farnham, #Guildford (#Berkshire , #Surrey, #Hampshire )and so on, I'd say "SE home counties"...
So, he came, done the job in about an hour (I was useful for about 2 mins at last !!!! :D), got paid, I got the invoice emailed, shall see, if the glass is any good, whilst the fitting job he did was clearly in his "own stride" (I'm saying so as an ex' carpenter/ joiner/ foreman/ builder, whilst it's not exactly a "rocket science" either ;).. and yes, I was "hovering" over, kept an eye what he was doing, as annoying as that might be for him, but I've no doubts over glueing or fitting workmanship ("not a cowboy"- 100% I can vouch for!).
Got told to NOT to drive for an hour.
Tomorrow I'll be going over with few buckets of water to be "triple" sure no leaks (don't expect any), but there are horror stories, when windscreens leak, causing thousands pounds worth of damage to BSI/BSM/ECU of modern cars etc, even after replacement, by less reputable fitters...

I received 2 quotes though my windscreen and accepted the one that was slightly closer to me. I was a little disappointed no-one more local responded. However I can't fault Bristol and Avon Windscreens. Mike was helpful and friendly and his technician drove for an hour on a Friday late afternoon to come and fix a chip on my windscreen. The job was done quickly and effectively by another very pleasant friendly person. Great service - thank you.
