Easier than you think.
I am going through the process as a first time homebuyer. I have learned so much and the steps that are actually needed to obtain my home. Thank NACA for making it an easy process.
If you are looking to purchase a home…
If you are looking to purchase a home NACA is one of the best programs to go through. The employees are very professional and they will answer all your questions and a timely manner. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you NACA
Good so far
Currently in the process of becoming NACA qualified. So far the process has been smooth and straightforward in terms of next steps to be taken. The process is lengthy but having personally known several people who used NACA to purchase their homes, it is more than worth it.
NACA is highly recommended
NACA is highly recommended for low to middle income families looking to get their forever home in these challenging economic times. A strong advocate and a TRUE collaborator. Will definitely endorse them.

Very informative NACA counselor
I truly appreciated my counselor's (Ellen Petersen) attention to detail, her professionalism and genuine care for engaging me concerning the NACA process. It very much put me at ease as she thoroughly and effectively guided me through the process and informed me of the next steps. I highly recommend Ellen's services.

I appreciate the chance to work toward homeownership.
You're not alone!!
I am currently in the process with NACA to purchase a home. It's a thorough process that can be discouraging but when you have a counselor who is very helpful, keeps you encouraged and on point with the process it's not that bad. Stay encouraged until you reach the finish line.
When I first heard about the NACA…
When I first heard about the NACA program, I thought it was to good to be true. But upon my own research about this organization, I found out about the passion for helping others in need and the amazing history behind the program. One of the many things I love about this program, is that you can tell there is a genuine care about anyone who participates. My counselor, Laura S., took her time to explain everything to me. She went above and beyond and I appreciate her.
There is a lot of work involved, but that is because there is a level of financial maturity that is necessary to be a successful homeowner.
I am in the process of being approved, and I'm excited about the future!

First Time Home Buyer
I am currently going through the naca process now and everything has been smooth so far. My counselor has been super helpful throughout the process with making sure I am well informed and on the right track to buying my first home. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
The NACA process does require…
The NACA process does require commitment and patience and there’s a lot of documentation involved but my counselor Mr. DWAYNE made it manageable and kept me on track.
I appreciate that they do ensure that you are financially ready.
I am at the house hunting stage, and my Realtor Mr. Faustin is very patient.
I would recommend NACA to anyone.
My Take on NACA
I have a lot of positive experiences with NACA. This program has helped me lot to understand the housing market. The team has done a great job in working patiently with members. Members, you do need to get your paper prepared. If not sure, the NACA team is always there to help you out. You are never on your own. The process may take time but it all depends on where you are looking. Your house is out there waiting for you and NACA is there to help you get to it.
Homeownership can feel overwhelming
Homeownership can feel overwhelming, especially in a city where buying a home seems impossible without wealth or generational resources. I’m still in the process of qualifying through NACA, but I’m already struck by how intentionally the program works to make homeownership more equitable. It offers opportunities that many people only get through class privilege or family support.
Even as a current participant, I feel more hopeful than I have in years. My counselor is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely on my side. I’d recommend NACA to anyone who wants to own a home, because everyone deserves access to a program designed to help them get there.
The participation requirement is also a plus—it spreads the word about an organization addressing real issues like class inequality and housing insecurity. And if you love history or appreciate radical responses to social problems, NACA itself feels like a powerful intervention in a deeply unequal system.

The process has been going smooth as we are becoming recollified.. Our counselor has been very thorough and my husband and I are excited to move forward. I have faith. This will be the year.
Smooth
My wife and I haven't purchased a home just yet but I have been qualified twice now. We are in the process of being qualified again and are determined to buy before our qualification ends again. The initial qualification is tough but after that it has been soo smooth.

The process can be exhausting with lots of waiting involved. If you have your eye on a listing, keep in mind that signing up for a counseling session does not guarantee approval within a week. First, find a realtor to assist you throughout the process. We've been going through the process for a little over a month and have not reached approval just yet.

My experience with NACA has been really good. They explained things to me step-by-step and made the homebuying process feel less scary. I like that they really try to help people reach their goals.
Postive
So far the experience has been a positive one, working alongside Dwayne Jordan to walk through documentation requests, pre-approval processes, and identifying next steps in very short order. I look forward to continue working with NACA to benefit from such a powerful program.
