Just had my first counseling session…
Just had my first counseling session with Naca and the process was so smooth. The counselor was very helpful and knowledgeable
My NACA Experience
My husband started working with a NACA mortgage counselor, Mr. Turner in in June this year and I wanted to share my experience. Overall, the process was thorough, educational, and focused on helping us understand every financial detail before moving forward.
Mr. Tuner has been patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain how our budget, credit, and savings would impact my eligibility. He has been honest about what we needed to improve and gave us clear action steps to get “NACA Qualified.” I really appreciated how responsive he has been. Whenever we have questions about documents or the next steps, he follows up promptly.
The process does require commitment and patience and there’s a lot of documentation and verification involved but our counselor made it manageable and kept us on track. It’s clear that NACA’s approach is about long-term financial stability, not just getting a quick loan approval.
Thanks to Mr. Turner's guidance, we feel much more confident about managing our finances and moving toward the approval stage for sustainable homeownership.
I will recommend Mr. Turner to anyone interested in NACA program.

We are currently in the process of getting a home loan through NACA. The process has been very in depth and does require a lot of patience! We are hopeful that our dream of home ownership will become a reality very soon.
Friendly people and excellent help
Friendly people and excellent help, highly recommended.
NACA helps you to be disciplined
I have been working with NACA for a few months now and have been overwhelmingly grateful for the support my NACA counselor Ellen has provided me in my house buying process. This experience has helped me be aware of my spending habits and helped be better aware of things needed to purchase a home. Overall I am enjoying the process and most all my growth from it.
In process review
I am currently in the process of qualifying for a NACA mortgage. So far, the experience has been great. My counselor, Ellen Petersen, was very transparent and did not sugarcoat the work that I needed to do. The process is as long as you make it. The better prepared you are, the smoother the whole process will go!

NACA has made me happy by making me a first time homebuyer the process was easy, I will definitely refer NACA to someone, I already did!
Homebuying is an experience
The process of homebuying is already a daunting task at this day and age. I knew nothing about them when my friend reccommended I try NACA. I figured it was going to be another dead end.. But I'm so happy to say how wrong I was. Everyone involved from the beginning has been so helpful in nudging me closer to actually being able to own property. It takes a village to buy a home, and luckily there is a village worth of staff at NACA that can help.
The NACA program is wonderful!
The NACA program is wonderful!! Roddy Jean has been has been the best on helping us understanding the program, provided us a lot of information that we need to be able to become home owners!!
Intense, but worth it
Naca is an intense program, but definitely worth it. They make the process of buying a home feel more human. All your stuff doesn’t have to be perfect but you must be willing to improve and work on the things they tell you!

Since day one with NACA I have felt great about owning a home. When others denied me, NACA did not give up. Incredible experience, no sugar coding anywhere.
Great mortgage counselor
My mortgage counselor, Reginald Brown, guides the process of preparing for home ownership with NACA an encouraging one. I see the priority set for a successful experience. I highly recommend him & the company.
NACA Process
I recently started my NACA process, and Ellen Petersen has been very helpful throughout the process. She walks you through every step and makes sure you understand the process.
I'm currently in the process of getting…
I'm currently in the process of getting a NACA mortgage and it is very detail oriented mortgage process. It's well worth the effort if you already have most of your finances in order. NACA, Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, focuses on getting you a low interest, no down payment loan that fits your BUDGET!!!! Keyword being BUDGET! NACA does not offer predatory loans and they actually fight lenders who engage in predatory lending that's why I went to NACA. Gets your ducks in a row and get lowest mortgage rate in the country with no downpayment!
NACA is for the people
NACA has been benefiting me in a way of guiding me without holding my hand to get in charge of my finances and down the right path to home ownership.
Thank you NACA!
NACA is watching out for those who work in service jobs and do their best to make a positive contribution to their communities but get locked out of homeownership in those communities due to relatively low salaries. NACA is a shining light in the increasingly hopeless world of home ownership. NACA has a very thorough portal and a customer service line with kind representatives who are extremely willing to help you!

I am currently in the stages of participating in the NACA program, which aims to help individuals secure affordable homeownership. So far, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly thanks to my guidance counselor, Miguel Correa. He is extremely patient, always willing to answer my numerous questions, and communicates clearly and effectively. Although finding a suitable property has been quite challenging given the current market conditions, NACA's resources and support have been instrumental in assisting me in this process.
Working with NACA was one of the best…
Working with NACA was one of the best financial decisions I’ve ever made. As a first-time homebuyer, I was overwhelmed and unsure of how I’d ever afford a home, but NACA made what felt impossible a reality. From day one, the program offered everything it promised: no down payment, no closing costs, no PMI, and an interest rate far below market. That alone saved me tens of thousands of dollars over the life of my loan.
But what really stood out was the support. My counselor Antonio Coronado is very patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping me succeed. The homebuyer workshops were incredibly informative and helped me understand every step of the process — from budgeting to closing.
Yes, the process is thorough — there’s a lot of paperwork, and you have to be organized and responsive — but that’s because NACA wants to make sure you’re financially ready. It’s not just about getting a mortgage; it’s about setting you up to succeed as a homeowner. With a monthly payment I can afford, and without the financial stress I thought I’d have to endure. I’m so grateful for NACA’s mission and the way they empower people to build long-term financial stability.
If you're serious about buying a home and ready to commit to the process, I can't recommend NACA highly enough. They’re not just a program — they’re a movement. NACA seems to deliver very well on its promise of making homeownership more feasible for those who might otherwise be shut out, with strong support systems and better loan terms. The tradeoff is more process, more time, and being very attentive to fulfilling all requirements.
Supportive Counselor, Time-Intensive Process
NACA has an important mission and provides opportunities that many other organizations don't. I learned a lot from the workshops and my counselor is knowledgeable and super supportive. That said, the process can be long and requires a lot of patience and paperwork. If you're prepared to commit the time and effort, the benefits can be worth it!
Great company
Great company, and I heard so many great things about this program helping people accomplish their dreams.
