I am writing this to formally raise a concern about a recent interaction I had with one of your representatives, Vin Morris, via direct messages.
While I understand that sales outreach is part of business, the approach taken in this instance was highly unprofessional and inappropriate. After clearly communicating that I was not interested in the domain being offered, Vin Morris proceeded to make dismissive and inaccurate assumptions about my business — including suggesting that I do not have a long-term vision.
This type of communication is not only disrespectful, but it also reflects poorly on your company’s standards and sales practices. As a business owner, I value professionalism, and I do not engage with companies that attempt to pressure or undermine potential clients in this way.
Please consider this a formal request that no further contact be made to me by Vin Morris or anyone else on your team.
I would strongly encourage your company to review its sales approach, as this experience has left a negative impression that I will not be recommending to others within my network.
Regards,Shakita Payne

This business lies as a middleman trying to upcharge cheap and publically available domains.
I received this message from David Perell (david(at)nameies.com)
"We own [redacted domain name] domain name and we are looking to sell it.
After doing some research, we found that you are using the .io extension and might be interested in your brand .com domain for more opportunity and growth.
We are asking $450 for this valuable domain. I would love to know if you are interested or Have any questions?"
However, the domain was actually publically available and I purchased it for $20 using SquareSpace.
This is a deceitful business, do your research and save $100's.
EDIT: They just said this review is fake and a competitor? They are trying hard to keep their name clean. I have proof of their emails and my transaction to buy my domain, but they never asked for it.
Another scummy action.
EDIT 2: I did find the request in my spam folder, so I am providing proof. From my understanding of trustpilot, me not responding should have allowed them to say my review can't be verified. Not attack it as being fake, a competitor, etc.
You can see they are scrambling, and on the offense. Business must not be going well.

Like many others, Vin reached out with an offer. I was very skeptical at first but he persisted and over time I came to trust him and I'm very glad I did. We got our website with no issues. I'm very happy with our deal.

When Vin Morris first contacted me, I thought it was a scam. However, I soon realised that Vin was genuine. This was because of his empathy and professional approach to me. The tone of his emails were always supportive and he was always willing to explain the process to me, as someone who is not technically literate.I would recommend Vin Morris as someone who knows his job and wants you to be happy with the end result. I now am the proud owner of neilhawkes.com and I'm sure that it will direct folk to my charity that is developing values-based education in the world. Thank you Vin. You became a friend!

Mr. Morris what is extremely helpful during this domain purchase and transfer. He was knowledgeable, patient and very thorough. It’s not my area of expertise and he used easy step by step assistance to make sure the process went smoothly.

Vin was very helpful in alerting us to this new more preferred domain for the business and was very prompt in assisting us with the transfer process. It is not a very knowledgeable area for us so we needed someone we could trust!

Vin was easy to work with and honest. He generously unlocked a domain name that he had control of, so that our farmers market could register it and keep it in our own control.

Vin is a kind gentlemen who offered me a site he owned to help me with my new business. I hope to work with him the near future if he needs any help with website work to support him in return.
I would highly recommend working with him 100%.
