I left my car in for a windscreen replacement due to a stone chip & crack. This was all arranged via Erridge insurance. I removed my phone holder & internal dashcam prior to leaving the car in for repair. When i picked the car up again, i found several issues. The phone holder that I had removed was now broken into 3 pieces and slung into the rear seats. Im a cab driver and have a mirror meter. Two wires had been broken from the meter, hence, at this point, i was unable to work. I had to pay an autospark £90 to repair the meter. I had to pay an extra £42 to have that same meter retested & sealed (law). The auto setting on the windscreen wipers wasnt working either. To be fair, the branch did rectify the wipers the next day. I waited over a week on a promised follow up phone call from the branch manager regarding the damage. He was very defensive, but during the call he admitted that they had damaged 3 or 4 other mirror meters previously. He said that they are not responsible for any damage they cause. This was his final response to the damage "if we had insisted that you had that meter taken out before we fixed your car, sure you would have been out that money anyway, so whats the problem ?". The problem is, you didnt insist, or advise prior. Please bear this in mind prior to booking your car in for a replacement windscreen !

Great customer service from start to finish, a special mention to Conor the technician who travelled all the way from Donegal to Belfast to fit my new windscreen, he was a true gentleman who was very courteous, polite and also done a great job, well done National Windscreens for having employees like Conor on your team.
