My solar panels have been up and running for a number of weeks now. Everything seems to be running in order.
Daryl rang me this week to say that they had done a test at their end all show to be running well. If I have any concerns or questions they are willing to help straight away. All good at the moment.
Brilliant service. Everything was explained. They were in constant contact throughout the installation- checking how everything was proceeding. We were very pleased with their quick efficient service. There was always someone we could contact if we had any questions.
System performance is spot on worth while investment why pay an energy company when you could pay yourself
I had solar panels installed 10 years ago with the feed in tariff . As a former electrician it’s important to me that I have the latest kit and that’s what I got. David came out for the assesment and explained everything in detail . We had sunlight only panels and they were not efficient at all . I saw that nationwide renewables was the Yorkshire installer of the year and that gave me reassurance in who they were , high quality professionals with a high quality product . I now have the new daylight panels, high efficiency and amazing features . I would have put the wires abit differently it doesn’t matter as long as they work. Inverter is top notch quality with great harvest cycle. I had a problem with my octopus app and Jason in the office came to see me sorted the issue within seconds and thoroughly showed me how to use the app. Work away from home through day until evening so enjoying selling back to the grid for some extra money or using my battery to store for night usage
Solar panels installed for a year. My home needs 3280kw a year to run and it's exactly what my panels do. I like that they have a warranty to cover this as I've been bitten before. The only annoying this was it took a while to get my handover documents which I wanted and had to chase up alot. But Natalie has changed opinion on the company because she went out of her way fo sort it after hours for me. It's people like this that make a company so I'm happy that team members can be understanding and helpful. Did go down to the office to chase up as well and it's a very busy establishment so I understand why. Got a referral benefit as well so that was £250 back to me.
I thought I would be able to give this company 5 stars, I can't.
All my dealings with the staff have been fine. The sales man wasn't pushy but did answer our questions, and pointed out the best deals were with Octopus, and their equipment was designed to link in with the best of them.
The installation manager called on a bank holiday, so things could move forward quickly.
When something went wrong on the first installation date it was sorted and it was admited that they were at fault.
The Fitters turned up on time, were quite courteous, tidy and cleaned up after themselves.
So far so good, five stars.
I then waited for the certificate to enable me to sell all this lovely energy that I was making.
For some reason I didn't receive this certificate, so got back to NationWide. I never found out why I didn't get this first time around, but after contacting their customer services they worked hard behalf and I have received one today(28-08-24).
My experience with this company has been one of highs and lows but they have put themselves out to ensure I have an installation that looks neat and tidy, staff that are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and a customer service department that believes in service.
It might have taken a bit longer then I expected but we got there in the end.
Since my last update I have had the local council contact me about the panels on my roof so not only have I had a problem with selling my electrics, but the installation is falling foul of Building Regs.
I contacted NWR on the same day, by e-mail, and asked if they could complete the relevent form, with an end date. The end date is passed, no form, pi55ed off.
My advice is to make sure, you, who are reading this, has it written into the contract that you sign, that Nationwide Renewables will supply any and all paperwork, within 3 Months, otherwise they are in full breach of contract, and you are entitalled to a full refund.
Daryl came round showed us how a system would work I'd be foolish not to go for it definitely recommend
Had an initial assessment worth while looking into would recommend Daryl’s services
Daryl really looked after us not a simple job either considering we are a business
Nationwide renewables claim to be members of the RECC and have the logo on their brochure. They are not members.
Took 2 months to get a refund after the project was cancelled. Ignored for the majority of that. This is after the project co-ordinator admitted the sales person exaggerated the performance of the system and fabricated figures to get the sale over the line.
Worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you are planning to go solar, make sure the company is a member of the RECC and not Nationwide Renewables.

got on board with the be green scheme saved loads already grate service daryl has been there every step of the way
System outperforms expectations Daryl advice was grate
Grate experience with Daryl would definitely recommend
The team have been helpful and understanding. The installers were great and really informative and helped set up the app so I can see my system.scott especially helpful talking me through the system on the day.
I had Daryl come to assess mine and the Mrs house on the 3rd and he was extremely knowledgeable and honest with us about what would and wouldn’t work, we now have our panels installed as of last week and I can already see the savings we are going to make! Fantastic from start to finish
Had an initial assessment. The assessor was personable and appeared very knowledgeable. However, when discussing payback timings she was unfortunately very misleading, manipulating figures and trying to tell us it would be a 3.5 year timeframe for us to recoup the investment. She was adding up the cumulative savings and rather than the annual savings. The actual timeframe would be 7.5 years. When challenged she was adamant I was incorrect before finally admitting she had made a ‘mistake’. Even after this she was pressing quite firmly for an answer, stating she had previously mentioned they expect and yes or a no. We wrongly assumed this meant a yes to being interested in making further enquiries but it appeared she expected a yes there and then and was not willing to give us any time to consider what would be an expensive decision. Clearly this review cannot comment on the product itself or the process of dealing with a transaction but I felt compelled to warn others to check all information that is being given to you and to be aware that this is a hard sell! I wouldn’t want more vulnerable people than ourselves to make a decision based on false information.

Nationwide customer service advisor is responsible ,helpful and knowledgeable. Max Wright represents the company positively. Very polite.
Fantastic service provided grate install could not of been happier with Darryl's advice
Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable brilliant service provided by daryl
They would have got a 5 if only they would improve their communication skills. My panels were installed in December and all work was done to a high standard. I then decided to have a further 2 panels and a battery fitted which were fitted in April to the same high standard. I now have the DNO which took a long time but that’s nothing to do with Nationwide as that’s not issued by them. My only criticism is the difficulty they have with communication which has caused us to worry from time to time. We are currently waiting for a response from them at the moment about getting the app to work again as we changed our broadband supplier. It would be a good idea to email customers with all the information they need should they change broadband provider. We’ve been waiting 2 weeks so far for that information and would appreciate a speedy answer. I am saving £30 a month.
