Stay away from them!!!!, they are not MCS member from April 2024! Milions issues with them: 4 months installation delay, no MCS certificate or even active membership with neither MCS or NAPIT- which they are claiming to be part of, 0 rated customer service- you wont get replies or call backs. Absolutely shocking experience and unfortunately still ongoing :(.

Priya explained everything in an helpful manner but unfortunately I decided I still didn't like the look of the panels so decided not to go any further but I appreciate the time and information this company provided me. Thank you
Extremely rude and unprofessional customer service. Called me 10 times in 20 minutes and refused to leave my home demanding that a payment was made for a cancellation of a free appointment that I was unable to attend because of a bereavement. Extremely disappointed and upset by this experience.
*Update 31/07/24 based on reply received below to include the factual series of events. I was offered a free appointment because there would already be someone in my area on the Saturday morning. I called to cancel at 5pm on Friday but the lines were closed and the service gives no opportunity to cancel or leave a message outside of office hours. I called again the next morning as soon as the office hours started to cancel before the advisor had arrived at my home. The advisor then arrived anyway around 10 minutes later, I answered the door and politely apologised and explained the situation at which point she said she understood then left. I then had a phone call 10 minutes later from the manager demanding payment be made there and then and saying that my bereavement that had occurred the day before “wasn’t their problem and didn’t need to effect anyone else” by me not paying a cancellation fee for my free appointment The advisor then returned to my door and refused to leave for around 20 minutes whilst the manager continued to call me and demand payment. I don’t see this as a professional way to handle any business situation and as mentioned above, I’m extremely disappointed in the service received. Had Nationwide Renewables been more understanding I would have happily re-arranged the appointment and probably ordered some solar panels. Given this experience I will certainly not be.

Had our initial assessment and chat with Priya. She arranged a mutual time and arrived on time. She was very knowledgeable and advised us on the solar panels most suited to us, taking our bills in consideration. She gave us a choice but together we went for what she advised. The ordering and arranging payment went very smoothly and now cannot wait for the panels to be fitted.
My encounter with Jonny Adam was fantastic. He broke all the information down for us and helped us get affordable deals. I have had chats with some other reps from other companies but they were not able to provide us with all the details needed. Jonny was simply awesome. It was a long meeting but it was worth it. I will recommend it to friends.

This is possibly the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to come across.
In July 2023, after a very stressful 3 ½ hour sales pitch I reluctantly signed their order form. After investigating the cost of finance (I don’t have any money so would need to finance the lot) I found that it would cost quite a bit more than the salesman had implied. This made the project financially un-viable for me. I let NWR know that I was cancelling the project. At this point no survey had been completed and no timeline for installation had been discussed or even mentioned. So there was no project to plan. I never received an official quote or plan, and did not even receive a “welcome” e-mail from them.
I heard nothing for 6 weeks then out of nowhere I get a demand for an 80% cancellation fee (£4000) to be paid in 7 days. I responded to ask for a detailed breakdown of these costs and justification for them, as RECC standards suggested that I was entitled to this information. I received only static.
2 months later I received another demand for the 80% penalty fee with a threat of court action. I simply re-iterated my questions and declined to pay. I offered to negotiate/mediate but NWR declined to follow this up and instead in February 2024 they filed a money claim against me for £3000 (which is a 60% penalty fee). I rejected this claim.
Everything then went quiet for 3 months until in May of 2024 I received another court notification. NWR were making another claim against me, this time for over £8000. This time they want the full 80% penalty fee plus accumulated interest at 13% per month. This would mean that the amount would double every year. They have never communicated to me in any way that failure to pay would incur interest payments. This goes against all of contract/consumer law and industry guidelines.
I will again be rejecting this.
As a side note:
At Easter, while on a shopping trip I had a call from one of their project managers asking if I had made any progress in securing the finance for the project. He was not even aware of the ongoing court case and this speaks volumes about the professionalism and record keeping of NWR.
Also when I engaged with the company in July 2023 they proudly displayed the RECC and Trading Standards logos on their materials and website (and on the order form I signed which says they are bound to RECC standards). I started to make a complaint to RECC about NWR and now discover that the logos have been removed and they are no longer listed as a member of RECC. The complaint to them will be submitted soon.
Finally it should be noted that I wrote a review yesterday. NWR called me within 30 minutes of publishing it, threatening me with a court case for defamation if I did not remove it immediately. Cry babies and bullies...
Update April 2025. I have now attended 2 court hearings to defend not paying their crazy cancellation fee of 80% contract price. Interestingly they sacked their legal rep a week before the first hearing. Sadly no evidence had been received by the court so it was adjourned. NWR were called out though for making 2 claims against the same contract as apparently this is not allowed.
NWR did not even turn up for the second hearing, so the judge dismissed the claim. I am so pleased that this is finally over after nearly 2 years of stress!
I really hope to never hear about this company ever again, but of course I have warned far and wide. Steer clear!
If you do have the mis-fortune to be trapped by them, stand your ground against these bullies. When it comes to the clinch they haven't got a clue what they are doing!

Very professional quicker than I thought it would take, lads very polite, helpful, and safe working, I'm very happy, now to see the savings, I'm looking forward for the year now

Nationwide renewables were very professional when assessing our solar panels and couldn’t have been more happy with it the job did get move back twice but was informed with plenty of time so was no issue. When the panel where installed a few bits of rubbish had been left on the drive but the installation was very quick and completed to a great standard, I would recommend nationwide renewables to anyone who is interested in solar.

After tiring of rising electricity costs even though we had solar panels fitted a few years back we felt that it was time to invest in a battery to allow for greater savings. It meant having to take out a loan to pay for this and we wondered if there was going to be any benefit with the additional loan repayments but we have seen such in reduction in combined payments that we are saving already. Naturally we still have standing charges from our power supplier each month which can't be avoided but at present the electricity costs rarely exceed £1 a day after standing charges have been accounted for.

Where do I start. The salesmen who attended the house seemed very genuine and appeared interested in helping me save money on my electricity bills. As a single dad of 3 young kids I needed the help. He suggested a system that would potentially save me in the region of £1000 year which seemed like a great deal and meant the system would pay for itself in 7 years as I couldn't afford a battery, but at least I would be able to use the electricity I generated at the time and potentially export what I didn't need. After signing up to the contract he wished me well and even said he always returns to his customers after installation to ensure everything is ok, which I thought was a lovely gesture, however this hasn't happened even though the system was installed on 28th Feb 24. Unfortunately that's just the start of my problems with this company. My project manager again initially seemed very accommodating and focussed on customer service which soon stopped. Poor communication regarding installation dates and installation teams not turning up when booked should have been enough warning. However when the installation did happen the team that arrived were very thorough and ensured I was happy prior to leaving. Within minutes of the team leaving I received a phone call chasing me for the final payment which I paid the same day - I shouldn't!
The scaffolders damaged my guttering which has been reported on several occasions and not one person at NWR has apologised or attempted to sort a repair. The panels aren't producing the expected KWH which I reported very soon after installation and now my access to the app they give you with the system has been revoked, and I have still not received any MCS paperwork, so am unable to claim any financial benefit from having the system installed, as I can't register for the smart export and therefore I'm still being billed for all the energy I'm using despite generating electricity for the grid for the past 3 months. I attempted to raise these issues with the project manager Daryl who failed to return my calls or emails, and when I eventually spoke with him he was frankly rude and passed the buck to the installation team. I had a glimmer of hope with Natalie at the installation team who took all the details of my problems and seemingly promised to investigate this and get back to me, and a month later I'm still waiting despite numerous attempts to contact by phone and email. So thousands of pounds later I have lovely solar panels on my roof generating electricity that I can't benefit from. Really disappointing and it seems like I'm not the only one being exploited. As a single dad with 3 young kids I thought this would help us, but I've just been completely taken advantage of. Unless you want to throw your money away as it feels I have, avoid this company at all costs.
Update 24/5/24. Since writing this review I have been contacted now on multiple occasions to resolve my issues which is great, however it shouldn't have taken this review to make this company act on their contractual obligations. To make matters worse I have today been contacted by Rob who has advised me in order to resolve my complaint I need to take down this review!!! I refuse to be bullied by an organisation that has failed in their duty to meet our mutually agreed contract.
If NWR actually resolve this complaint to my satisfaction then I will gladly update this. I'm sure trading standards would be interested to hear how they are attempting to bully customers! Beware!!!
Update 4/4/25
Now well over a year since my installation and unbelievably i still have no MCS certification or financial benefit from my installation! NWR this is outrageous! Yes you have contacted me promising to resolve this matter but actions speak louder than words!!! I even spoke with the managing director who strangely enough no longer works for this despicable company.

Priya was amazing, extremely helpful and patient with us and would definitely recommend her to anybody. Thanks very much.

Big thanks to all at Nationwide for making our transition into a greener future with our solar panel install.
Priya from sales was our first point of call and she did a brilliant job of explaining everything and how a system all fits together along with the potential savings we could make.
Once we had agreed on the price and signed on the dotted line, it was over to the project manager (Kaiser) who made it all happen for us. Kaiser kept us well informed of every step in the process of getting the panels up and running from start to Finnish. Thanks Nationwide!!
Mark.

1 star because there isn't a 0 star rating. Rep. promised me that my bills would be drastically reduced. Cost me 5 thousand pounds for system, (already had solar panels).
Inverter and and battery bought from and fitted by them, BUT my bills have not been reduced at all over the six month period before and after the 'installation'. I can't get any help from anyone. I got through to the Project Coordinator eventually, he told me that he was no longer dealing with my contract and that someone would contact me.......NOTHING happened. I'm an 80 year old disabled pensioner I WANT MY MONEY BACK,

Had a visit from a lovely lady called Priya. Me and my wife have been struggling with our bills and we decided to look into solar. Our expenses on our bills are projected to be eliminated. I really like that she spent a lot of time explaining to us about the products and service. She has to go over it a few times so I appreciate her patience. A lovely manager told us the next steps and we are very excited to Continue further.

I was considering having solar panels and wished to know more about them. I was visited by Priya. She clearly explained the product, how it works, the electricity savings to be made and what is involved with the installation. She is a likeable and knowledgeable young lady and is obviously enthusiastic about the product she is selling.

BEWARE- this company is suspended from MCS and NAPIT. They can therefore NOT issue MCS certificates.
Lies, lies lies. Varied and ongoing problems since November- too many to go into now - I just want to warn others - will do full run down later.
Spoke to them on Friday and still lying about being able to sort everything out and issue certificate. PLEASE Call MCS and NAPIT helplines YOURSELF to clarify as Nationwide WILL lie.

Do not use this company very poor service, took deposit, from a retired elderly couple, and took months to install and this was only because we were constantly chasing the company. When they came to assess the job they provided a quote and haven’t fully finished the job and now they are expecting full payment. After the installation they have not provided any information on how the solar panel system works and what we need to do. Cannot get hold of anyone to speak to and the customer service line, after going through the questions for 5 mins, state that it is no longer in use. Do not use this company! Quick to take deposit and requesting payment but not answering calls after the installation and now demanding payment for late payment charges - do not use this company how they are still operating is beyond me! Been going on since November 2023 and it still hasn’t been resolved. Save yourself the stress and money and don’t engage with this company!

Excellent service from Rob & Priya for the installation of the solar panels. The installation was completed on time and everything went smoothly getting online.
We would throughly recommend Nationwide Rebewables for your solar panels installation.
All throughout the job, from the initial contract meeting to the lengthy process of getting on contract with Octopus energy for the Outgoing Octopus energy electricity export we were kept informed by Priya and the team whereabouts we were in the process.
