GPS syncing is too difficult

Charger dock station needs too much open space for GPS to work properly. Ideal location for dock station is near a wall or corner of a room. However, GPS won't work near walls.

Positive - technology works great if you can find a large open space for GPS to locate the mower.

Mower not performing as advertised.

After 2 weeks of corresponding with Navimow service an sending videos, the problem has now been resolved and the mower seems to be functioning correctly. None of responses to this post are pertinent. Navamo customer service determined that the unit was trying to avoid phantom obstacles and had me clean the camera lenses. After cleaning the lenses, the unit seems to be operating correctly. Simple fix it took two weeks to get corrected.

The app is difficult to use when setting the more up. It is not intuitive and I've had to do things several times to try to figure them out. The mower seems to behave erratically at times times,mowing in a zig-zag motion rather than straight lines, getting confused and stopping and going in circles. I deleted the map and started since this area contains several small no-go zones. I thought maybe this was confusing the mower and the remapping seems to be helping. I tried to reach customer service via the app chat with little success and no help. I have a small somewhat complex yard. I've gotten most of it mowed once since receiving mower. I'll try the second time and see if it'll smooth itself out as it learns.

Better than expected i210 AWD

My yard is not level and has a more than a few challenging locations for the mower. After a week and almost five complete mowings, the mower works through the problem areas without human intervention. The yard also has 7 zones that run next to roads and the mower has not jumped a curb or wandered into the road where the curb is sloped. Making the path between sections is super easy and I was able to get a lot of practice when setting up 5 zones between the sidewalk and road.

The initial setup was as simple as it gets in my case. Performed the updates, planted the RTK at the corner of my house, and started mapping the yard.

The one hiccup I ran into when mapping yard, was when the mower and phone lost the Bluetooth connection. This happened one time and everything else was flawless.

Don't expect the mower to work as fast as a push mower. My .18 acre takes about 12 hours to mow. I've used the mower at night and it's very quiet. I've not noticed any difference in the overall performance of the mower with or without sun lite.

I was a little apprehensive about buying a new model without a track record. After having used the mower a few times, the is working much better than I expected.

A Very Cool Robot Mower!

Purchase was quick and easy! Mower and garage arrived in less than 3 days. I have been researching Navimow robots for over a year and was excited to get the AWD model at a great price with free garage. I had to wait about 4 days to set up and had my backyard (zone 1)mapped out first day and then finished the front and one side(zone 2and 3) and other side (zone4)the following day. I sent the mower to cut the next day and it completed Zone 1 and part of zone 2 but then rain sent it home. Next day did zone 3 and part of 4 but it got dark and more rain. All in I have a few tweaks to make on the map (if the weather ever gets nice) but it works like a champ. I am very impressed so far. Be sure to watch the videos on YouTube!

Easy to Setup, and Connect

Let me take you on a journey. I've been following robot lawnmowers for years, easily 10 at this point. They finally got to the point where we liked the features, capabilities, and price points that we decided it was time to buy. So... we bought a Worx Landroid. Stay with me.

It came, we got it out of the box, it had a very surprising and complicated setup. We had issues with it every step of the way and even had to drop $50 on artifical turf just to get it to move off of its base without it faulting out. Once we had that accomplished all was going well until we tried to adjust the blade height and then nothing would go right. Had to pack the thing up, ship it back and wait for the replacement from Worx to arrive. All this after the weekend because we recieved it on a Friday and had to wait until Monday to get on the phone with Worx customer service becuase they aren't open on weekends.

The replacement arrived one week later. We got it out of the box, went through the long installation process. Got to the point of downloading the firmware update and we're pretty sure that's where the thing faulted out. After the update we could, for the life of us get it to connect. They wanted us to try to contact our ISP, and this was after downloading a file onto a USB and plugging it into the mower to attempt it to connect. We even had to unplug the entirety of our mesh system and move the robot mower to position it just outside the wall where our router was. It was nuts.

As it was approching closing time and we had 2 duds in a row, and it was our first experience with Worx I just opted to return it for a refund. I went online and searched for other robot mower options, even if they cost more and came across Segway Navimow for the first time.

I had never heard of them and I was extreamly skeptical at first but as I continued to research all the reviews I came across were great. And it had more of the features we wanted than the Worx model we had tried to initially purchase.

So, I made the decision and went ahead and bought it. It arrived pretty much a week after our 2nd and final Worx Landroid did.

First thing that impressed us was the ease of initial setup. It was more versatile in its placement than the Landroid was. The base was also far less bulky and easier to install comparitevly. With the antenna and the necessary placement it took about as much time to get it all set up as it had the Landroid, but despite that it was far more vesatlie in where we could place it which was a huge plus.

We were able to easily adjust the blade with the manual knob. The Navimow already easily and simply cleared our first headache hurdle. Next getting it to connect to the wifi was quick, easy and straightforward. It didn't require multiple resets, moving, no thumb drive with files that didn't work. It was nearly plug and play and that's what I was very much looking for after the mess we had to try with Worx's Landroid and then never getting their blasted robot to work!

The most ardous thing was waiting for the firmware to update. That took a little bit, and my phone had to be close by the entire time. I couldn't just leave it and go into the house, so that was a little bit of an inconvience, but nothing compared to the frustration we wound up enduring with the Landroid.

Once that was completed it was easy to program, the app wasn't too hard to navigate, though it took some fiddling around and looking up online how to access a couple features we knew it had. But once you get that everything is pretty intuitive and easy to use.

The Navimow blew away Worx's Landroid by miles!

After setup the mower got to work and has been growing strong for days. Right now we're still watching it. I'm waiting to watch and see a couple things about it, but no complaints. It regularly and steadily sets about keeping the lawn neatly trimmed without any hassle or trouble. I can almost forget the thing is there. Our ISP even had a neighborhood wide outage that lasted for hours and when it finally came back on the Navimow reconnected and got about its business without missing a beat!

I'm very impressed. If I wasn't I wouldn't have spent the time to write out this detailed a review!

We will still have to take a weedwacker to the edges of our lawn, but that's nothing compared to having to do that anyway AND mow the entire thing. This is well worth the money, and will save you so much time you'll wonder why you hadn't gotten one sooner!

Wish the app worked better

Mower seems to do everything it promises, if you can get the app to do it. I got so frustrated trying to create a second zone (the app would never recognize the start of the new zone) I simply created one large zone and watch the mower pretend to mow the dividing sidewalk and walkways.

x4 experience

x4 mower seems great so far, does a decent job cutting. App really needs improvement. Need a way to offline edit map and manually straighten lines, enlarge mulch areas. Shouldn't need to be within bluetooth range of mower to edit map.

The representative went above and…

The representative went above and beyond to help me with my issues. Even promised to send me replacement wheels for the troubles ive had. Still waiting for them, but I give them a 5 star rating for service. I'd only remove stars if they don't arrive, but I think they will

Trustworthy business with good products and support

Good robot mower (Navimow) and (usually) support.

Update (05/14/2025): I complained the mower avoids patches of tall grass. Support replied the mower may not handle areas/zones where the grass is higher than its blade height range (?!) and I should manually trim those areas/zones (!).

Update (06/09/2025): They eventually admitted it was due to obstacle avoidance or traction control and are allegedly working on it (I did receive 2 firmware updates, though they unfortunately didn't fix it).

Update (11/24/2025): They agreed to send me a complimentary antenna extension cable to relocate my antenna to prevent my Navimow from further damaging my soil by frequently maneuvering and turning in front of the charging station.

Update (02/19/2026): My Navimow malfunctioned after ~18 months. The camera suffered water ingress. Disabling "Camera-Assisted Positioning" makes apparently no difference. It still cannot move correctly and constantly stops with camera/navigation/pathing errors. Segway forwarded me to the seller.

Amazing service, amazing product

I recently bought a Segway Navimow. The set up was very easy considering the technology involved. It took a couple hours but by the end of that time, the little mower was completely familiar with my yard. There’s is one spot in the yard where by it got stuck. I tried to edit my map of the yard but was unable to. I contacted customer service and they persisted through Christmas in getting their R&D team to send a patch directly to the mower to update firmware. I was amazed at their persistence and delighted with the outcome.
