PROS:
-Compact size, works exceptionally with hydrotubes and bongs.
-High-quality components.
-Screen orientation is rotatable.
-Excellent flavor profile.
-Rapid heating.
CONS:
-The black finish, seemingly for a 'pro' aesthetic, is unfortunately quite susceptible to scratches.
-Button placement is not intuitive; it feels more natural when held upside-down useless while charging like and apple magic mouse.
- Using the extract chamber requires removing the resin trap, which may result in inhaling debris. This omission creates potential issues, making the absence of the resin trap a significant concern. Strangely, this problem is rarely discussed; users might be too elevated to notice, or perhaps support simply ignores the issue, responding in a rather condescending manner.
-The mouthpiece tends to clog within 5 uses, making it difficult to rotate. This might cause the cooling unit to detach, fly off, and subsequently break the mouthpiece. As a solution, I've been using 1" vape bands to ensure a tighter fit.
Wishlist:
A release in natural finish or protective glove similar to DaVinci's IQ.
Additional mouthpiece adapter options.

The best vape I’ve had yet. It has an easy mouthpiece to pull off and on with it being a magnetic lid for the chamber at the same time the silicone sleeve is a great new addition also and easily filling with it stops any spills. With a great customer service

Amazing vaporisers, great support.
Really like the taste of the dry herb from this vaporiser. Heats up quickly and it is easy to clean. Highly recommended. I used to have other vaporisers but this one is the best. Love the dosing capsules. I had issue with previous one, contacted Nectar support and received replacement following day. Great experience.

Absolute Waste of Time, Money & Effort
I bought a Platinum vape in December 2020. I have only used it about 20 times. I was going to use it again today but it has given up the ghost. I get a message on the screen that says 'Sensor Error'. I have no idea how to fix it and after such little use it seems the thing does not live up to the hype. It will be going in the bin.
My other problem is that I bought a box of two spare batteries to keep as back up for when the first one was completely drained. I placed them both in a charger and it indicated they had not charged after two hours. I blamed the charger at first. Then I decided to put one of the batteries into the vape for charging. Guess what? After six hours of charging it was still kaput. Same story for the second one as well.
In fairness Nectar said send them back. But as I had thrown away the box they came in I just swallowed my pride and kept the batteries. They will be joining the vape in the recycle bins.
My review would be one star as all the items I bought ended up being an almost total waste of money.
By the fact the vape worked about twenty times I thought I'd give it the extra star. But when I consider what an absolute waste of money the spare batteries were it made the second star a difficult decision.
I bought a second Platignum vape for a friend last August (2022). I've not seen him in a while but I'll have to find out if his is an equal let-down or not. I'll give him the battery that still works and the spare parts I wasted money on (wasted because the vape did not get enough use to need the gauzes etc. changed)
I can't recommend this product to anyone as all the goods I have bought for myself were virtually a total waste of time, money and effort.
For something I paid over £100 for, it should have lasted longer than twenty 10 minute sessions. But they have a few videos on youtube to show the things off which look good. Just a shame my experience was so dismal. But good luck to anyone else. It may just be a one off and my vape and batteries were the only ones to be faulty in the whole of their production line - even though the spare batteries were ordered 10 months after the vape.
