Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 39 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the product and its quality, noting a significant decline in taste and consistency. Customers frequently mentioned that the coffee now tastes watered down, bland, or even unpleasant, with some describing it as tasting like "cheap coffee" or having a "minty chemical taste." Reviewers also expressed strong dissatisfaction with the pricing and value for money, citing instances of "shrinkflation" where product quantities were reduced (e.g., 7 sachets instead of 8 or 10, smaller jar sizes) while prices remained the same or increased. This led many to feel that the company was prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction and that they were no longer getting good value for their money.

The New Nestle Gold Latte is awful…

I am very very disappointed that Nestle has changed its recipe for Nescafe Gold Latte. The new recipe is absolutely awful. It is far too sweet and watery. BRING BACK THE OLD RECIPE AND STOP MAKING CHEAPER VERSIONS UNDER THE GUISE OF "New Improved Flavour" AS IT IS NOT.

New taste Latte much too sweet

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who finds the "great new taste" latte too sweet. I look forward to my latte treat but I can't tolerate this revamped taste and won't be drinking it any longer. Why change the original which was perfect. Please please bring back the old original gold latte.

New latte recipe too sweet

Another plea to bring back the old Nescafé latte recipe. My morning latte was a real treat that I would look forward to but the new ones taste horribly sweet and I cannot drink them anymore. Please change back to the old recipe!

New Latte Sachets Recipe.

The new latte recipe is sickeningly sweet. I’d prefer the old recipe; it tastes more coffee than sugar. Hopefully, they will listen to the consumers’ feedback and revert to the old recipe.

I tried the new Nescafe Gold Latte…

I tried the new Nescafe Gold Latte sachets as we usually use four sachets a day here. It was vile, much too sweet and had none of the attributes of the previous recipe. I won't be buying any more sadly and I am looking to find an alternative brand.

Not even coffee

It would be nice if Nescafe could return their Lattes to the former recipe, the new so called best ever is awful, and it's 75 calories instead of the 60 it was previously.
Why do they have to constantly keep changing things and making them inferior while telling everyone they've improved ?
Put the Gold coffee back in and take the rotten sweetener/sugar out, then it might actually taste like coffee again

Nescafè used to be my go to coffee

Nescafè used to be my go to coffee. All of a sudden for the past few months my stomach has not been able to tolerate it. I am in the UK and would like to know weather any fellow coffee drinkers (past or present) have had issues with nescafé playing havoc with their guts

Nescafe Instant Latte has a new recipe…

Nescafe Instant Latte has a new recipe and it is way too sweet. As a newly diagnosed diabetic I am still learning about blood glucose and sugars and food/drinks and how everything works. This new version of the Nescafe instant latte has almost double the amount of sugar than the previous version and strangely my blood glucose has been higher for the past 2 weeks - which is when I started drinking the new version. It could be simply a coincidence but I will be looking for another option if the reason my high glucose levels are to do with this coffee.

This new latte taste is horrible

This new latte taste is horrible, as a type 1 diabetic , it is a disgrace that not only did nescafe take the skinny latte of the market, but they also replaced the old latte favourite with a new horrible sweeter tasting product. I have now switced to aldi alcafe latte and unsweetend cappuccino , they are now superior to nescafe. Shame on nescafe marketing.
