Bad products, no products, and customer service is a joke

They do not deserve even one star. I used to order their capsules but stopped after they sent me some boxes that were out of date. You would expect that from a discount distributor but not the company. And their response? The coffee is still good for a period of time beyond the expiration date?? No replacement, no refund, no exchange. But my nephew loves their coffee so I decided to purchase a Nespresso gift card for his birthday. You can’t order a gift card on the website, you have to call them to place the order. And then they won’t send email links to a card, they insist on mailing the card to the recipient. That would be okay IF they actually sent the card. Its been 2 weeks since I placed the order (and was assured by customer service it would be shipped out the same day the order was placed) and still no gift card. I’ve called 3 different times and each time the rep assures me their tracking system shows delivery by the end of the day and to call back if its not received. So I call back and they say the same thing again. This must be their automatic reply to every call rather than actually providing a solution. So I’ll be filing a complaint with the BBB and my credit card company today and I hope others think twice before purchasing ANYTHING from this company.

I have spoken three times with…

I have spoken three times with nespresso representatives on the phone and they are unable to give a straight answer to any question posed.
The free offer of coffee suggested with the purchase of the machine comes with a $130 price tag, but they will not say that directly. They claim the aluminium in their capsules is different to that of other pod manufacturers, and were unwilling to confirm that aluminium pods of all other manufacturers were of the same dimensions as their own.
They are happy to sell you the machine and take your money, but beyond that I have found them to be unhelpful.

I own a Nespresso Next machine and Pixie and used to own a Vertuo Round Head

I own a Nespresso Next machine, purchased 10 months ago and it's not working. The dreaded blinking orange light. I went into the store and had great service there but they couldn't help me because I didn't purchase my machine from them. Had to call Nespresso club. This is my 3rd Nespresso machine, never had an issue with any of them. I called and I was told I HAD to descale my machine with their product before they could help me. Serious!?!?
Not impressed.

Just hype....

Bought a Vertuo from Nespresso a week ago. Also got 60 pods and samples. After trying several different pods I realized their coffee tastes flat and watery just like other people have said here. I even tried making my own using the foils from Amazon but the same. I think it's because there's not enough coffee in the pods. I've been brewing my coffee for years and realized it's the best thing to do if you want good tasting coffee. I'm able to control/adjust the flavor simply by water to coffee ratio and buying whole beans vs ground beans. Also, grinding beans very fine. After this experience, i can say Nespresso is all hype and is for people who do not know how to brew. Also, Nespresso does not pay for return shipping. Customer service reps not accommodating. This is BS.

OMG - SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

OMG! Nespresso is a nightmare to deal with. I regret the day I spent over $200 for this nightmare!
So, my first experience, I ordered an Inissia online along with a frother and coffee. The machine came USED and didn't work. After complaining, I received a replacement. Sent the other one back. Received a call, they gave me a credit and thought that was the end of it. This past Wednesday, Canada Post delivered the old Nespresso, scratched, not properly packed (have a video) and advised me that the bloody thing was fixed. I immediately called them to advise that I want this thing picked up immediately. To add insult to injury, these people think that I want a scratched repaired USED product back. He said that UPS would pick up by end of week. It is Saturday, and the stupid thing is still in my house.
I wish I read the reviews before I spent my hard earned money on this machine and this useless company reps. SAVE YOUR MONEY and purchase a machine that's worth it. By the way, the frother is now leaking milk when doing it's thing. Like I said - Save your money & your inner peace.

Avoid Nespresso.

I have had my Vertuo machine for almost 3 years. Coffee is delicious but nothing but issues with orders since the start. The arrogance of customer service reps is shocking. Delivery times have gone from bad to worse. Final straw today, when customer disconnected my live chat because I tried to complain over delayed order. Order now cancelled and I am done with Nespresso. Avoid them and buy literally any other brand.

Terrible customer service machine was garbage

Terrible customer service. I want to return this machine, unused coffee and exit the ‘club’.

This machine failed after 6 months. I really wanted to enjoy this coffee machine. The Nespresso club’ has access to some very good coffee. It is pricy… on the order of $100-130 per month in pods. I liked the recycling aspect of sending the spent cartridges in. And again when the machine works, the variety of type and size brew was excellent… then about 5 months after purchasing… things went south.

First it threw a descaling warning by way of the flashing orange light on top of the machine. So I bought the descaling solution and flushed the machine like the support video showed. It worked for about a week. Then would only produce one cup of coffee and need to be flushed for 30 ounces. That got old fast. This went on for about a week. At best, I could get maybe 3 cups of 7.7 ounces or one 18 ounce carafe between flushes for about 3 weeks. Then this week, the app said the machine needed to be descaled again and it only flashed orange lights. So I descaled it again and flushed the machine according to the support videos, and I was able to get about 5 ounces of coffee out of a 7.7 ounce pod. Then the light was flashing orange again. I looked at the app and it said “an issue occurred error 1760”.

This afternoon I called the support number from the app, and was able to explain my situation with the machine. When I got to the part to explain to the telephone support operator that I was disappointed with it all, he hung up on me! I called back and got a different technician and she listened politely, but told me that my machine was probably stuck in the descaling cycle and I needed to flush it at least ten more times! I’ve been flushing this thing daily at this point!! I asked her about error code 1760 and she said that she didn’t have access to the error codes, but it was probably a descaling problem and I needed to flush it at least ten more times. I then asked her for warranty details and she said that she couldn’t help me with the warranty situation unless I flushed at as prescribed and if the issue persisted I should call back.

This evening when I got home, I found about 20 ounces of cold coffee puddled under the machine.

I am never buying a Nespresso product again.

At this point all I want is a return shipping label and a refund for the $100 of unused coffee I have from this month’s purchase… never again Nespresso!

Love love their coffee

Love love their coffee. Hate their machines - 2 broken in 2 years. Current one is so loud we have to keep a hand on it to avoid rattling. This is the newer machine - bigger coffee pods. They should replace these things given we spend 100/mo on their coffee as each pod costs $1.

I bought my machine four days ago

I bought my machine four days ago. I received a coupon for $100 worth of Nespresso coffee. What an offer! But my machine Serial number would not register online. Later, I was finally able to register it but I could not select my coffee. I tried contacting live chat but the link would not work. I tried to phone but the message was in French. I don't speak French. I was told to 'dial' 2 for English so I pressed 2 and got French again. This repeated four times so I gave up.
I finally got through on live chat when the link worked and explained I was not able to order my coffee. I was given a link which is the same link I had before. I entered my Serial Number to try to order my coffee and received a message that my serial number had already been used. How did this company get so big? Nespresso has to be the most frustrating business I've dealt with and this is only day four.
But I am determine somehow to get my coffee as promised.
My advice, avoid Nespresso.

No longer stellar

Nespresso customer service has gone from great (2016) to the worse (2021).

I try to be understanding during the pandemic. But recent experiences are inexcusable.

I have 3 Innisas (2016) and Evoluo (2019). Firstly, every contact with Nespresso, how many when they were purchased, has to be reviewed. Their records are never correct.

The Evoluo leaked water, badly after 13 months. Per Customer Service, the machine is only guaranteed for 12 months. Only 1 year for such an expensive machine? Additionally, I was told I would have to buy a new machine. This turned out to be incorrect and the machine was easily fixed with the help of YouTube.

Lastest issue: they are discontinuing capsules but do not allow you to edit/add a replacement to an existing "Easy Order" which is due to be shipped 6 weeks later. Contacting CS for help, I've been disconnected 4 times.

Best bet, cancel everything. Replace machines as they die. I think Nespresso skates by on their past CS. Maybe new ownership?

Don't buy a machine, it will only bring you grief.

Terrible Machine Terrible Customer Support

If you want coffee that is going to taste like an old pile of mud, buy this machine. Within a month it was spitting out coffee that was full of grounds and tasting truly toxic. I tried cleaning/descaling the machine and troubleshooting every way that is instructed online, and nothing worked. Unfortunately my experience with the nespresso team members was as disappointing as the coffee this machine produced. Since my machine was still under warranty, I was entitled to a replacement machine. Nespresso tried to make me go through trouble shooting SEVERAL TIMES insinuating that I was doing something wrong and that their machine couldn't possibly be defective. Finally after 3 days and several hours of talking to representatives from their company, I was told that they would send me a new machine since mine was still under warranty, only for them to let me know several minutes later that they no longer had the machine I ordered in stock. At no point did a manger reach out to me, and at no point was there a manager available when I asked for one. Overall a disappointing experience with nespresso. I will not be purchasing any of their products again. The worst part is that I read reviews very similar to my own before purchasing the machine, and disregarded the fact that they put out many faulty machines. I just figured they would send me a new one if I happened to have the misfortune of getting a faulty machine. But sadly that was not the case. Nespresso does not stand by their products, and the staff is trained to blame the customer for any issues with the machines. Very disappointing.

Dissapointing Service from Nespresso

Firstly, my husband bought a Mini Essenza on 13/02/2021. By August 2021 we noticed that the water tank was leaking. We contacted Nespresso only to be told the replacement does not fall under warranty. So what DOES fall under warranty? Secondly, I then went on to order a new tank at a cost of R100 and was told by Nespresso that the delivery fee of R95 would be waivered if I purchased 5 sleeves of coffee. I then emailed back to confirm that I had to pay R500 for the 5 sleeves PLUS R100 for the tank. Same reply came back that if I take 5 sleeves of coffee delivery fee of R95 will be waivered. I paid R100. Thirdly, after paying the R100, 5 days ago already, I was told today that I had to pay R500 for the coffee and delivery of the whole lot will take 3-4 working days. SO ANOTHER week of waiting and being without coffee. REALLY???? This is not the kind of service we expected from Nespresso. We are very disappointed and will never recommend this company or it`s products to anyone. Back to other coffee brands it will be. A very disappointed first time customer. Natalie Nissen

Disappointed

Use to love online ordering at Nespresso since my order would typically be delivered in 1-2 days. Ordered August 24, and it’s now Sept. 9th, and I still do not have my order. Contacted customer service a couple days ago and was told the order would be resent and expedited 1-2 days and I would get a confirmation email. 2 days later, still no delivery or email confirmation. Contacted again, and was told it’s set to deliver September 16. Luckily, I saved the chat and forwarded the “promise” to expedite the order. Solution was to cancel the order and resend with a 1-3 day delivery time frame. I’ve never had such a poor experience with a company and the the fact that this company use to be so great is what makes it worse. No longer will be purchasing anything from Nespresso.com. Please train your employees on how to properly handle mishaps.

Update: The 2nd resend order promised with expedited shipment was not processed properly (again). Not only did the first employee lie, the second employee and lead she requested help from lied about resending the order as well. Crystal G. and her lead working on 9/9/21 (you know who you are) should be held accountable for wasting company time and money (took over an hour to get resolved without a true resolution) as well as losing future business from a customer. Terrible customer service and solutions.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. It took days for someone to reach out to me, to sort out an issue with trying to place an order. They keep saying “thanks for your patience…” HA!
A company with a great product, should invest in customer service. Contacting them is impossible.

Overall ok, but website kills everything

I like the coffee but then again I don't know much about coffee. Their delivery is great — almost always I get my order the day after I order, as they promise. But their website is unbelievably bad. We order monthly and I can only get the digital invoice if I call customer support and ask for it, every single time I order. Moreover, the ordering process is so clunky that I've misordered more than once. Customer support is nice in my area (Portugal), but most of the time they're unable to fix any issue regarding the website. Everything requires special support from above or is just impossible. Unbelievable in 2021

I ordered my vertuo coffee pods august…

I ordered my vertuo coffee pods august 12th. Week later I still not get m coffee. I chatted the customer service representative and se said she is gonna fix it and send me another one. A week later I still do not get it. I called and talk to them again and they told me I willget my coffee august 27th. Nespresso do not sell vertuo pods anywhere accept their stores or online. Closest nespresso store 100 miles away. I have to wait 2 weeks to arrive my coffee pods.
