Over priced, plus since they have banned sharing account even though I’m paying for 4 screens so family members who don’t live together can watch it. All about the money plus there movies they update... See more

I used to love netflix but all you get now his dubbed or foreign stuff. Boring and rubbish. Not worth the money anymore. I'm cancelling. Going to prime and Disney.

Netflix free month trial

I'm based in the UK and signed up for what l thought would be a month's free trial via a Netflix website l found easily on the internet (this was in July 2020).

I signed up with no problems and gave my details, credit card etc. etc. assuming il would only be charged if l decided to proceed beyond the one month free trial. I cancelled my free trial a few days before the month was up.

The upshot is l've been charged by Netflix. Rang today to complain and was told they stopped offering the free month trial in the UK in November 2019! I therefore asked for a refund as l said it wasn't my problem that this offer is still advertised on the internet and they readily allowed me to sign up via this site even though I'm based in the UK. I was told l would not be given a refund and the attitude seemed to be, who cares.

Surely if Netflix do not remove this offer from the internet and accept applications from the UK they should be held responsible. I think this is appalling customer service plus they are misleading the consumer.

Be warned!

Unfair Netflix!

I've been a subscriber to Netflix for many years and don't mind waiting for the 'next Series' if it's something I've enjoyed. However, I've just finished watching the second series of the excellent French programme "The Bureau" thinking that I had 2 more series to go. However, the only way to watch the remainder is by purchasing yet another subscription to another offshoot of Amazon Prime, to which I already subscribe. Very disappointing and not really fair Netflix - say so if you don't have the complete programme!

Why is it so bad?

I've heard people talking about Netflix for ages. I received a free subscription when I changed broadband providers and thought this would be a great way of watching movies without having to buy Blu-Rays/DVDs that are sometimes difficult to find.
Oh no. It isn't.
Of the first twelve movies I tried to watch, only one was available. These weren't obscure art-house pictures: they were critically acclaimed and commercially successful classics.
Eventually, I found an interesting-sounding, recently released documentary about jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan. It took seven attempts, with various combinations of signing in/out, connecting/reconnecting, switching on/off, before I could get it to play. Then, at the end, when I wanted to watch the credits to see what some of the songs on the soundtrack were, the movie shrank into a tiny, unreadable window. Searching online told me a way of getting to view the credits but by then it was too late: it was impossible to view the movie again.
I have this subscription for 8 months. It looks like I'll be lucky to manage to watch a dozen movies in that time. In fact, I might struggle to make it to 2.

Add More Movies Please

So far we and kids loving it, we got Netflix about 12 months ago loads of fun programs, movies and other drama series.
Just one request please add more kids movies and cartoons. Masha and the Bear (only one season on Netflix) have lots of seasons but so far nothing on Netflix.

Great But....

Love Netflix overall yet, something is incredibly annoying.... -ALL- of the foreign series/movies have different subtitles vs dubbing. Who is the idiotic external company who is doing this? Watching Juon now, a new serie and its the same.... this really has to change. Its distracting and confusing.

Also please get an email customer service.

This is a rant

This is a rant
Netflix pulled a completely fine and totally hilarious episode of Community because of a lack of moral fibre, backbone, and idiocy
It is a dumb decision and this is the only place I can safely say that
They should be ashamed
Oh and it is stupid that you can't email them directly. That is just bad customer service
That is all

Ozark

I got through season 1 then 2 episodes of season 2. That’s as much as I could take. Whoever is responsible for this production is a total amateur. It’s just terrible. Every scene is so dark it’s almost impossible to make out characters and what the hell is going on. Just a black screen with the occasional bit of movement here and there. As I said, total inept amateur who would be better placed flipping burgers. David Gwynne.

Netflix is a con.

I've been with netflix for years but unfortunately there's other streaming services which happen to have shows more to my taste & at a much cheaper price. Im super annoyed though as whilst trying to cancel my subscription, they have kept sending me links to reset my password or update my payment, they said that if I re-login, I'm going to get billed, I feel this is totally a disgusting tactic by netflix, I would have rejoined them in the future, but after this, will be happy to cut all ties.

No 30 day free trial in UK any more

I like everybody to be aware that netflix no longer offer free 30 day trial or though its promoted on devices as such that I have. I only found out that I was paying straight away when I check my bank statement.
I contact Netflix they directed me to statement on there Web site. Free 30 day no longer applicable to UK. As I was expecting to have a free trial this came as a shock.

Does not work on all TVs.

Does not work on all TVs.
It works on Sony if you have an old firmware and cancel automatic updates.
Does not work on my other newer smart TVs
Staff are not clever and only take you through basic reboot sreps

Not worth the money

Since Disney+ was released and most of the decent content was removed you're left with basically nothing worth watching, just mediocre blackwashed Netflix originals and foreign language stuff. Avoid.
