Netflix has become a cheap TV programme/film dumping ground. Occasionally there is something good but never unique. Set formula series or very badly dubbed (probably good originally) foreign films. If... See more
I used to love netflix but all you get now his dubbed or foreign stuff. Boring and rubbish. Not worth the money anymore. I'm cancelling. Going to prime and Disney.
I used to like Netflix but noticed this year you stopped adding translations to my mother tongue Russian. Last year there were always translations. It does not matter what is going on in the world, yo... See more

I only write reviews on a company's…
I only write reviews on a companies customer service as i feel in this day and age espcecially with Covid, we rely on online support for our services and goods so much and I've experienced such terrible, uninterested and rude online customer support staff from other companies and business recently, i wanted to just give a thank you to netflix for their great customer service this morning when i had to cancel my credit card at the bank due to fraud recently and my Netflix payment wa declined. I got a live person on the end of the phone after a 30 second wait who coudnt do more to help me and was cheerful and friendly.
Wish i had taken his name as he deserves a personal thank you but he was american and (i think) working from home. I am a UK customer.
Well Done Netflix Customer services. Its such a relief to get some decent help.
the majority of the shows and movies on…
the majority of the shows and movies on Netflix UK are foregin and the english movies and shows that are on netflix are old and have been around for at least 5 years, of course there are one or two shows and movies that are modern but rarely are they good, the stuff that is on there is barely worth the £5.99 subscription let alone the £10.99 one but yet they've chosen to start charging £15.99 i know Netflix is everyone's go to streaming service but i'd recommend just getting prime video, failing that just get a second bank account and make a load of dummy Gmail accounts and just abuse the free trial system.
I LOVE Netflix
I LOVE Netflix. I hadn't seen some of my favourite movies until I watched them on here.
However...I loved Girl Boss (series starring Britt Robertson) and it was axed after one season because of a small following but tripe like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt seems to carry on.
Aside from that... Netflix is great!!

I object to a major 18% price rise during a pandemic when so many people have less income, or even no income. Netflix have gained many subscribers during the pandemic why do they have to abuse them during these hard times. Disappointed.
No Complaints Department at Netflix?
So I was stupid enough to try and ask for advice from netflix customer services as to whether it is possible to have a shows guidance rating (the age rating) regraded, the person on the chat clearly wasn't paying any attention (or just paying attention to certain key words) and instead (unbeknown to me at the time) removed my parental controls entirely. After finding out, I tried to put them back but now I can only hide shows of a certain age rating not pin protect them. I went back to CS and tried to complain but the second person was just as bad as the first, he again just did not listen so I asked for the complaints department. I was told Netflix doesn't have a complaints department...
Ok so I asked to speak to a manager, the CS operative said there are none available and the manager would just ask me the same questions (the agent again wasn't paying attention as I had already done all the things that he had suggested to fix my parental controls and I had confirmed this with him with a "yes").
I ended live chat early at this point, I did manage to "fix" the parental controls myself by creating an adult profile that has no restrictions, not great but as a work around it only has to last until stranger things season 4 is out then we can binge watch that and and then look at cancelling.
The morale of the story... Don't speak to Netflix Customer Services, they just don't listen, they do not know what they are doing, they desperately need re-training and there is no complaints department when things go wrong, wow (shame really as my family and I were really quite happy with netflix before this).
Horrible support
I struggled with payment for my subscription as I kept receiving the error. I tried contacting support with my issue. However, I only heard that my account reached the authorisation limit. When asked for details, they said they have no information on their end. I replied that I tried to use a different card, so surely any limit/problem has to be on Netflix end. In reply I received the answer saying "AUTHORISATION LIMIT" in caps and the the conversation was shut down (I was talking to John Paul). All in all, don't count on solving your problem via support.
Absolute Best Viewing on TV i`ve ever…
Absolute Best Viewing on TV i`ve ever come across! and at £6 a month the best value as well. Easy to navigate and with a constant stream of highly watchable quality TV being updated every week of dramas,Documentaries,Films. Only downside not enough time to spare, to watch it all. dont understand the negative reviews on here??? unbelievable!

Pathetic !!
Poor quality and inundated with dubbed content
I've been a subscriber for 5 years. For a while now, the content has been utter rubbish. The service is flooded with low quality foreign language dubbed content. I could even excuse this if they labelled the content clearly as being dubbed, then I could avoid it, as I detest dubbed films. Beyond this, the other content is usually old, B-grade low budget stuff interspersed with the odd decent series, but they're few and far between. For the last few months, I've been watching mostly content off Amazon Prime in preference, which in itself is a sad indictment of Netflix, since Amazon Prime has a very thin selection of free content. I'm even getting to the point where I'm considering cancelling my subscription.
I have been subscribed to Netflix for…
I have been subscribed to Netflix for over five years now and I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with not only the service quality but the quality of the content.
My biggest problem with the service is their original content being cancelled before a reasonable conclusion to their series end this is seen multiple times. The list of incomplete series includes major examples such as Dirk Gently holistic Detective, Santa Clarita Diet, Disjointed, Daybreak.
Another issues is with discontinued content or incomplete series like lucifer, one day at a time with series being on other streaming services.
Foreign content has overwhelmed the UK Netflix Library and a lot of it is unwatchable and poorly dubbed content from country such as Korea, Japan and Saudi Arabia. What I find strange is that a great series like RITA have not being dubbed in English.
Another massive issue with the content library is that it is also overwhelmed by repetitive early learning cartoon.
The content at the moment is lacking and is often available on other services such as BBC Iplayer or Channel 4 on Demand.
Poor picture quality
During peak times it seems that they cannot cope with the amount of viewers as the quality is often poor, They boast about 4k and hdr BUT all of this is heavily compressed. I paid the fee for 4k but last night the picture was no better than standard definition. I contacted them and asked them what the bit rate was for 4k but no matter how many times I asked this they would not reply, instead talking about my own internet connection and their bitrates. They are fobbing everyone off!
Waste of money
At first I thought it was great but now have watched all I can and am bored with it. Tend to get a lot of buffering problems with it despite having a very good Internet signal, programmes I want to watch can never seem to get above 25%. Don't really feel it's worth the eight quid or so I pay for it. I personally don't feel they have enough new content to keep me going.
I was bored so I signed up for a month…
I was bored so I signed up for a month for the cheapest rate £5.99/month. There are some good shows on there. I predominately watch cartoons and Japanese anime and couldn't find a whole lot of them. I cancelled my subscription after a month. I did enjoy watching Aggretsuko, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., and BEASTARS. I also watched a little of Carole & Tuesday...If I get bored again I'll sign up again. I like the fact that it's very flexible and you can sign up and cancel without having a fixed payment plan for several months. Wished they had more new anime series to watch.
Listen to your customers
Was great but way too many international series's, not enough turn over on series's, only one US medical drama but only up to season 4 and loads of stuff that most of us wouldn't have watched on free TV. This company does not listen to it's customers, never replies to them but continuously introduces programmes that they feel you should be happy with. Well, we're not! We are the customers and we are keeping you in business. Listen to what we want, as we are paying you. Losing thousands of customers every week does not surprise me but it should be concerning to you.
Thought I would have Netflix for a few…
Thought I would have Netflix for a few months and then be done, but I just keep finding more and more great series to watch. Get me hooked every time!
The movies are okay too and with a second lock own coming, i think I will be getting through a lot more.
The Fall was amazing, and love Grace and Frankie!
My watch list just keeps growing!

Been with them for a while and generally happy with the service. I love how it is easy to sign up and also to cancel the membership if you no longer need it.
Absolutely love Netflix
Absolutely love Netflix. We have Amazon Prime also but find that we watch Netflix 90% of the time. The series's are fantastic and a lot of the films are first class. I only have Amazon because my daughter pays for it. Thinking of abandoning the BBC to save £160 license fee every year. Hardly ever watch it now, apart from the news.

It's not worth my money the shows they put on are so old and never finished and they go back 2015 so why keep them .il never pay for this.
