I paid for a service I didn't receive a March 3rd and now I'm being told that I cannot get a provisional credit although I can prove. NetSpend is fine with making me wait an additional 10 to 45 days

Once again highly disappointed. I made a purchase through a site called clip where you purchase products at a discounted rate and you're able to utilize them. I purchased the product for a friend on the 3rd of March for $54 and sent the receipt to them as a gift so that they could utilize it. The friend told me several times that they did not receive the gift receipt and therefore no product was received or service. I opened a dispute and requested a provisional credit. After contacting the merchant they said that I had made no such purchase although you can clearly see it on my NetSpend account for $54 on the 3rd and that they could not help me with a refund because there was no account in my name, however they opened an account under the email that I sent the receipt to link to my name and my card. It is now the 17th there is no product there is no service and I do not have the money and I was told that I am not eligible for a provisional credit because there was no error on my account. I now have to still wait from 10:00 to 54 days to receive my money back with no credit from NetSpend which is absolutely ridiculous. I never received the service and I never received the product therefore I should be receiving a professional credit because in no world can I receive a service and not pay for it and they would have to wait that amount of time to receive payment from me. It is already the 17th and I've been dealing with this company since the 3rd and I've had no resolve just giving the runaround although you can clearly see the charge on my NetSpend account. And no ways this acceptable. Especially on behalf of NetSpend we should be looking out for my best interest. I should immediately be offered a credit seeing as how you can see the charge on my account, I don't have a service, and I do not have a product, the error was obviously on behalf of the merchant and it should be ruled in my favor however it is absolutely unacceptable to make me wait another 10 days to receive the money that I spent for a gift for a friend after I've already been waiting over 10 days and this chargeback could possibly take up to 54 days for me to receive almost $60 for a product and or service that I never received. I'm disgusted with the customer service and I'm discussing with the fact that it does not send like NetSpend has my best interests at heart. I am the customer and this other company can verify that these so-called certificates or whatever this is that you use these vouchers for these products and services were not used so why am I waiting and why am I not receiving my money back for something that I did not use, that the person did not receive or a service that I not did not receive when I clearly paid for it. Why is it fair for this company to do this and for my bank to sit here and hold $60 of my money that I earned and or work hard for and receive no product why am I waiting for a chargeback still when I've already clearly been waiting over 10 days for a service that I clearly paid for. This is so highly unacceptable and it's indicative of the type of customer service and or service you will receive from NetSpend if you go with this company. It does not matter if it was a error on my account or not there was a purchase for a product that I did not receive. There was a service that I did not receive. There is clearly a $60 charge on my account. Why am I being the one who has to be punished and or suffer or wait for my money because NetSpend doesn't want to offer a professional credit want to offer a provisional credit yet they would be willing to make me wait almost not only 10 because it's already been over 10 days but up to 54 days to receive a chargeback of my money. As a customer there's no way I can get a service and not pay for it for 54 days this is absolutely ridiculous and I'm so disgusted. I wish I could believe that NetSpend had my best interest in her but they obviously do not even in clear-cut cases if I pay for a service and don't receive it then I should receive a provisional credit as well as a full refund and I should not be the one who is punished and or have to wait to receive my money back absolutely ridiculous one star. Money back I will give them negative five stars if I could. That is clearly robbery if not fraud and there's no way that I should have to be held responsible and or have my money held up because of a mistake of a merchant.

On the 13th of December.I received…

On the 13th of December.I received email some several individuals in the corporate level of Netspend They informed me that they would look deeper into the matter and Give back to me within several days. It is been over a week now and I have not heard from them?I'm informing the public that netspend ⁶ does not keep their word and that they steal your money, but they also Do not keep their word. The matter at hand concerns an illegal transfer from my account to somebody else's account in the amount of $884 on December 27th 2022. I have made several attempts to resolve the matter with netspi. Don't know if it's been, but you know Pavel.

A fee for everything!!!!!!

I had NetSpend all access prepaid card for years when it was Meta Bank, when Pathward Bank brought NetSpend that was the end of a good thing Pathward Bank destroyed NetSpend with all the fees, you can't even go to a ATM anymore without a fee this is ridiculous I close my account sometime ago with NetSpend because I found them to be horrible I went with Chime, they have a better solution and they don't have all the fees you can have as many withdrawals at the ATM as you want long as it's All points ATM system but NetSpend has got to have lost a lot of customers I wouldn't recommend them to no one

Netspend all access is all bull....!

Netspend all access is all bull....!. So I signed up because they say they have a 40 dollar sign up bonus:/ bs. None the less you're supposed to get 20. Leave these folks alone. The card doesn't even have a chip. Or a tap to pay. When you call you get a hold of that bronze looking dude off the Simpsons. Trust and believe they are full of it. What American wants the bronze dude off the Simpsons handling their finances? I sure don't.

My card was swiped for double the…

My card was swiped for double the transaction amount so that means they charged me twice for one transaction and I disputed it multiple times they talk about protection and how your account is covered but everyone that I've spoken with or tried to get assistance from has been so rude to me and treated me like a dog.honestpy I'm thinking about taking legal action I was told by the fraud department I could get a credit these people are a joke

I have been using a Netspend card for…

I have been using a Netspend card for several years. The last couple of years I have had to get a new card at least 3 times a year do to what i preceive at lack of security. When you call for assistance you get someone that definately is not local to the United States and are not very helpful. I am at this time searching for another company to work with for online transactions.

🚫This bank allowed my ex 🚫girlfriend to clean my account out every penny the samday I got paid,
Filed a dispute which they haven't bothered to update me on at all and they keep charging my 🚫account for new cards, before I get a chance to receive the card let alone activate it, I receive a email saying my card had been reported 🚫stolen I haven't even received the card yet, also did not provide a provisional credit at all although I wrote 🚫several letters stating that my bills were due not only did they closed my account with no warnin, I get ready to go to work, go,to get gas, and find out I have no access to my own money they, closed my account, later that day my paycheck comes in and they told me they were going to send it back and that I would receive a check in the mail with the balance that was in my account in 10 business days crazy part about it all is,the day that they closed my account they took it upon themselves to charge me for a new card 20 some odd dollars don't do it if you know like I know I am now with chase a real bank that has your back how is it that a person can make all kinds of unauthorized transactions on your account but you can't have access to your own money wow don't mess with these prepaid accounts there is a reason companies don't except these banks,and also they don't help with dispute at all access netspend is careless I love chase😀😘

Liars and Thieves

Good morning Lea Campos, I am reaching out agin because I would like to speak with you regarding this issue with my account, I have been trying to reach you and or get a response since your initial outreach and again have received no call or correspondence from you at all and it is extremely frustrating. You extend a helping hand and then you do not follow through. I have now lost all confidence in Netspend and feel like you do not care about helping your clients. I have called mutilple times and left numerous messages and it is completely silent on your end. I am going to to assume now that Netspend only cares about taking your money and pretending to want to help. What was the point of reaching out if you were not going to follow through. I want a call back immediately or and email response asap. this is literally the worst customer service and a i was hoping it was only from the call center but it is obvious this lack of concern goes all the way to the top of corporate and it is sad. If this is not resolved soon I will be taking this issue as far as I can so that everyone knows that Netspend are theives and to make sure no one ever goes through this again. This is embarrassing for your company and people need to know. If i do not get a response soon i will be forced to reach out to the BBB, my district attorney, my personal lawyer and the local news to report on how your company did not close a card reported stolen and over $900 in charge being taken from my account. and then how a corporate higher up reached out only because of a review I had and then offered to help and then basically ghosted me. I will make sure that it is known that Lea Campos offered to assist me but lied and never truly meant to help me at all . I will let them know I left you multiple emails and multiple voicemail messages and that you NEVR responded back. You offered your direct line and email address and then NEVER INTENDED TO ACTUALLY HELP ME ! but just pretended to offer help when she truly had no intentions of ever following through with her offer to assist. $900 was taken from my account and no one seems to care Id like to add that I reached out the their facebook website and was blocked when trying to get assistance

My problem with Netspendallacess is they don't to you when you have problem and there in a hurry.Like this morning about 11:30 I was able to go in and change my address which I have asked then to do.They took out $25:00 for new card .Which probably went to the wrong place.Now can't get into my account.COME ON WAKE UP.and do it.RIGHT

I’m very disappointed in them because…

I’m very disappointed in them because they didn’t alert me that someone was trying to get money out my account three time the week of my Social Security coming in and they let them take my pay of $1290 without no warning. They knew each month I’m at Chase Bank getting a cash advance. I’m still waiting on my refund and i had to cancel surgery because I had no money to pay my copay. So this my first problem I had out of them since I been with this company.

Overdraft protection gambling risk

There overdraft isn't guaranteed and the customer service isn't any good at results. They also put it you are basically at a casino when banking with them because they agree for over draft protection and gamble a dollar each time for a overdraft protection with no limit.

Terrible customer service, they're thieves! Laramie, Wyoming

Terrible customer service and they steal the balance from their own clients checking accounts with PATHWARD National Association bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They unlawfully closed my checking account without my consent, then they kept/stole my $1,499 that was still in my checking account when their customer service representative, Erica, closed my account without my permission or consent to have done so. Someone else had lied to them about my Netspend visa debit card being lost or stolen, when it was not. That happened to me when I were visiting the area of Laramie, Wyoming. The greyhound bus station there inside of the Petro Iron Skillet truck stop convenience store is where that happened. Whomever stole my $1,499 stole it from my visa debit card with NETSPEND to purchase a brand new Apple iPhone, is what I had discovered after the theft. I filed a formal police report with Rapid City Police, South Dakota and Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, South Dakota because PATHWARD National Association bank is there. NETSPEND is absolutely terrible as a company and they employ illegal immigrants that can barely speak English as their customer service phone department. Terrible company. Their thievery scam is known as "Jaimie the cashier". Date of incident November 5, 2022.

Security and Help

Just leaving my Thought of my Experience with Netspend AllAccess, I Switched Back To Netspend after my Previous Financial Institution Some How Got Hacked and Caused me and Several Other Customers Problems, Then 5 Months Later it Happened Again So That did it for me So Switched Back To Netspend AllAccess not Only do I Feel More Secured, When I needed Help after My Funds Were Depleted I was Allowed Over draft Help Without Extreme Fees and was able To get Financial Help at a A.T.M after The purchase, and as Long as Proven deposit Amount Monthly They allowed So much Overdraft Help Both With Purchases and A.T.M Help but does Limit Amount So You don't Go To deep Helps You Make Sure You don't Go To far Over Your deposit Amount for The Month That way You are not Having All of Your deposit Owed Out and not Getting Hit With Extreme Fees Either Thank You Netspend AllAccess and Thank You Trust Pilot for Allowing Me To Leave This Review.

Called support and FINALLY got a human…

Called support and FINALLY got a human on the phone. I asked if they have a Fraud or Security Department. CSR has a very heavy accent and asked why. I explained we have been getting envelopes with an unknown name at our address from them with what feels like a credit card inside. The CSR hung up on me. I tried to report fraud and they don't even care.
