Providers LIsted on Website were not accurate
Our experience with Netwell was not good. When signing up we looked at their healthcare provider portal and found some doctors we thought would work When we actually called to set up appointments they told us they didn't accept Netwell. Then when we called Netwell to complain that they had providers on their website that don't accept them they tried to pawn the responsibility off on the providers to update the site. On further investigation almost no one takes them. Before you sign up make sure that you verify with your doctors that they take them. Don't rely on their website because it has errors!

New ‘ownership’
netWell has been going through changes at the top, bringing in new workers and higher ups (CEO, COO, Etc). The poor reviews don’t reflect on the people behind the scenes. The ones who are running this health share company NOW are doing what they can to re write the narrative. They are on top of things

If I could give a zero I would
If I could give a zero I would. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not one claim was processed correctly and instead of fixing it they told me I needed to reach out to the provider and get it fixed lol. It is way over priced barely anyone takes it. You are better off getting private healthcare. DO NOT EVER USE NETWELL!!!

I joined Nov 1 2024
I joined Nov 1 2024. Haven't been able to get prescriptions filled due to "revamping of that part of the site". Then after 90 days the price went up 50.00 without any notice. By the way during that first 90 days I didn't use the insurance AT ALL!

hoping my experience will get better
I have been fairly disappointed so far with several aspects.
1. When i signed up, my current doctor was in network and now he is not (4 months later).
2. I spent an hour waiting for someone to answer and help me with resolving issues yesterday. When they did get to me they were courteous however.
3. They raised my principle/payment by $80 without warning.
4. They switched the prescription discount twice at the end of the year and it was very confusing and I just now got a card to use (1 month later)
5. Almost every time I have called with a question...I've had to wait for an extensive time on hold.
6. The don't seem to be interested in helping with preventative medicine. My skin cream to help with precancerous spots is not discounted at all.
4.
Just wanting to let people know...
Just wanting to let people know what they're getting into. Easy to sign up, then it's all down hill from there. Been with them a few months.
They don't communicate with the doctors office, lose paperwork, can't track anything, and end up costing way more than traditional insurance because they won't cover basics.
Love the concept, but we can't keep playing this game with them. We are getting out ASAP
EDIT IN RESPONSE: that all sounds great, but I've never had that problem with a normal insurance provider and we've been through this exact same process with them twice. The doctors office in reference has record that the information has been sent, so my point still remains that it costs me far more to use netwell than insurance. AND my best friend (who originally referred me to netwell) is also getting out for the exact same reason as me

Almost $80 Rate Increase on Second Bill!!! Bait & Switch
I researched Christian Based health care and in November, I chose NetWell and was quoted $532.79 monthly for the family. I had to pay the first month in advance and was charged an additional $90 application fee by the broker. My next bill was $611.58. I reached on to NetWell and on 1/7/25, I was told there was a glitch ion the system and that my rate is $532.79.
This weel I received a receipt for $611.58 again. I reached back and was told by Jessica (Poor Customer Service) that there was a price increase, and my new rate was going to be $611.58. I explained that I had chosen NetWell over Medi-share and had I known the current price, I would not have chosen NetWell. She provided me with the cancelation number and said I could cancel by contact them.
I call the broker and was told that NetWell had agreed to accept recent policies on at the lower rate and that we were included. I was told again that my rate is $532.79.
I responded to Jessica's email again with this information and she said there are no acceptations.
I feel like there was a bait and switch done to us and now I have to pay $78.79 more every month... Oh... and I was also told that the $90 application fee isn't refundable by them either.

Netwell - Be Careful - Will Deny Most
I normally do not do reviews but for this I am hoping to let people know not to make the same mistake. At first Netwell seems like a good option due to the cost savings. But the reality is that they just deny everything. As they are not technically an insurance company, they do not have to follow the same guidelines. The biggest reason will be pre-existing conditions and it could be an obscure note not even a diagnosis a doctor made, urgent cares get denied, or too many tests... I can go on but please do an analysis when looking at all costs not just the premium including visiting doctors, tests, any ER/urgent cares, etc - you most likely will be paying all.

Please Avoid This Company
Please avoid this company and any or all of its affiliates. I signed up for health insurance or so I thought. The gentleman Rob, who assisted me assured me I was getting the best and lowest deal on healthcare insurance. He told me he would even add dental for a low rate as well. He also told me that literature explaining my plan and insurance cards would be mailed out to me and I would receive them in 5-7 days. That was December 16, 2024. 3 weeks later and still no cards nor literature regarding my plan. It took me 3 or 4 days to finally get someone on the phone and she was a horrible person to work with. Had an absolute fit when I told her I was recording our conversation. Why? They record us. Nevertheless, she offered very little help and completely paused when I asked for a refund. She also kept placing me on hold. That was on Jan 2, this year. Finally today, Jan 21st a woman named Shira called me stating she was the customer service manager and was doing a follow up on my complaint. She wasn’t overly nice but she did state she would reach out to Rob, the agent who assisted me, more less scammed me and would refund my money with 7 business days. Did I mention I was never signed up for healthcare insurance only some ridiculous dental plan for 103 per month? So yes please please please AVOID this company and or any of its affiliates! You will be Scammed!!! The name of the company is Netwell. I was signed up with its affiliate, Benefits Now. Avoid Avoid Avoid

It’s all a Scam
I got signed through an agency that NetWell hired, which by the way was an awful experience in itself . I was charged the sign on fee, the first month and then $192 extra the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I had to put a fraud alert on my card and get it replaced as I did not authorize this charge.
I called on Dec 2nd to cancel because of this and was told my refund would be 5-7 days
I still don’t have it. Whether or not an agency signed me up, someone has my funds on behalf of your company and you have a responsibility to rectify this situation
I have called at least 8 times, sent emails etc. had my case escalated and always the same story. NetWell needs to follow through with the company they hired.
I have spoken to NetWell and Benefits Now both just push the date or read some script
Netwell responded that they would help, but of course nothing has happened. I ahve called a lot , emailed and no change.STILL a SCAM still a bad business

Won’t return messages left
Won’t return messages left, phone numbers don’t answer or allow to leave message, I’m diabetic and still paying for all my meds as no one will call me back-worst plan I’ve ever used
I got this and was charged 3 times…
I got this and was charged 3 times $3,000. I was told this would be fixed. I gave them time to refund my money but they didn't, so now they tell me they will dispute this and not refund my money. I just want my money back. They claim to be faith based but haven't been very Christ-like to me!!

Refund issues after cancellation of policy
I am having the exact issue Cynthia McCauley spoke of. I cancelled my insurance on October 29th and have got nothing but the run around on my refund. I was told the handling company is who I have to get my refund back from but who hired them. I got a written response from the handling company blaming it on Netwell. It has been so frustrating and so many dodges. It seems impossible to get a solid answer. If you do not refund money after cancellation its theft. Please do what you need and should do to rectify these situations and make things right with your customers. Many of us are struggling and could use our monies refunded ASAP. There was no issue taking the funds and it was done quickly. This has been so upsetting.

Our experience with Netwell
Our experience with Netwell, which began in June 2023 after a trusted referral, has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. While we initially hoped to rely on the company for assistance, our journey with them has been riddled with setbacks, poor communication, and a lack of support during a time when we needed it most.
In April 2024, our toddler son tragically broke his femur, an event that understandably brought tremendous stress and hardship to our family. Unfortunately, Netwell's response to our situation only added to the challenges we faced. Despite numerous calls and emails between my husband, Netwell, and our medical providers, the process was incredibly convoluted and unhelpful. In a time of medical crisis, we found ourselves navigating complex billing issues and struggling to secure even basic assistance from Netwell.
We were forced to pay the medical provider in full out of pocket ($24K+), all while hoping that Netwell would reimburse us according to our plan. Despite our diligent efforts to stay on top of the paperwork and follow up, nearly nine months later, we have yet to receive any reimbursement. What's more, our repeated attempts to escalate the matter by reaching out to supervisors via both phone and email have gone unanswered.
The lack of transparency, communication, and follow-through has been incredibly frustrating. We entered into our relationship with Netwell with high hopes, expecting reliable support when we needed it most. Sadly, those expectations have not been met, and at this point, we can no longer recommend Netwell to others.
We are left not only financially strained but emotionally drained by the lack of response and assistance, and it’s hard to ignore how this experience has further added to the stress during an already difficult time. We hope that Netwell takes our feedback seriously and works to improve its processes and customer service to better serve families in need. Until then, we remain deeply disappointed.

Dental and Vision
Dental and Vision discount programs are not defined how to utilize. The vision discount program ended without notice. The phone prompt for vision at Netwell still goes to the former provider. Customer service pointed me to a new vision program that was not yet operational with Netwell.
I was told by customer service that the new dental plan can be added on the user portal, which I don't see a way to add it.

I got Insurance on 11/20/2024
I got Insurance on 11/20/2024. I was told if I did not like insurance and can cancel and get my money back. I called 11/21/24 canceled insurance. They took my money same day I purchased. Told 7 business days I'd get my money back. Called at least six times. It's now 1/7/2025 and they have not refunded me. PLEASE BEWARE THIS COMPANY DOES NOT FOLLOW THRU ON THEIRS SUPPOSED POLICY! I will continue to try to be refunded, but at this point I doubt it. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY!
