Great customer service, quick to resolve an issue.
If only i could give negative infinity rating .Had the worst experience to try and sort out return item for incorrect order .The order relates to an ottoman-storage.I ordered the white with grey seats the seller is New AIM Pty Ltd based in Melbourne .shipping was free , same item Artiss available at Bunnings ,Big W but with shipping.
The item arrived , but immediately noticed incorrect colour description on the box , I was as sent black with beige seats . I immediately noted and made a complaint , for days the seller thru Ali Express tried to convince me to keep the item first at 20 percent which I refused , then 50 percent which I refused as the item is the incorrect colour and not matching my decor .I was told to resell .The item is so bulky and long and can only be sold local area and I refused to take responsibility and told Ali Exp and seller to take back the item and not my responsibility to on sell it ,Days later I was requested online to return the item using economical postal services and instructions not to use commercial freight forwarder as expense would not be reimbursed. A postal box number was provided with a Telephone number . I checked with Australia post only it’s up to 22kg can be sent using AP, the item is 26.5kg and also the length is outside of the dimensions, two people need to carry it .i I called the number provided and the person said he was only the inspector for returning items he told me cannot use his Postal box in Carlingford NSW and he told me to organise freight to his warehouse . and gave the address in Smithfield NSW.Freight is $214 , item cost $119.I was instructed to return item within 14 days and online the timer was ticking .i sent numerous emails direct to Ali Exp , explained the situation and told them I cannot return the item using postal address , as AP will not deliver and also told them the cost is not economical and as per return instructions, commercial freight will not be reimbursed.I told Ali Exp to pick item from my premises at their cost or provide pre paid return label . They refused and I sent several emails direct, then I got an email requesting for all the supporting docs if item weight , length , gave them the local nos of AP to call , gave them a screen shot of message from inspector who also said cannot return item over 22kg to aPO BOX , gave them the website , screen shots of AP confirming the weight requirements . No response was received, if I sent an email an automated message was received saying follow the return instructions. No one bothered to read the email and understand the regulations in Australia.on line service chat is a circus with no concrete response , scripted parrot responses . 14days expired already 1/12 and now the message on the App is that I put thru another request and start the whole frustrating process again .
Matter has been reported to NSW Fair Trading and all relevant docs been provided as evidence . It’s not a question of the amount involved , it’s how the customers are treated . Any online E platform operating in Australia has to abide by Consumer protection regulations . I did not order the black , and I asked seller how come they advertising the white , I requested them to send me the correct order =white . I was told not for sale as items on shelf are for promotional purposes only . So why send me an incorrect item and ask me to return it using postal mail service which is not for heavy items and expect me to pick up the additional cost . If an item is not in stock why advertise it for sale ???
False advertisement !!!!!!
I contacted the inspector local and asked him who he works for Ali Exp or New AIM he said he does not know as he just inspects items that are sent to him???! No self delivery is allowed . Very very very poor customer experience, this is not a small item you can just accept to keep , is bulky , long , trip hazard for family ,not easy to dispose off and now it’s customers headache . No one at Ali Exp or seller New Aim want to know or help .These are multi million companies selling items in Australia ,have the logistics in place to easily pick the item or send me my correct order or pre paid return label Never again !!!! Better to pay more and get reliable service from Big W ,Bunnings
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I made a purchase from New Aim and paid them hundreds of dollars for an item that never came. I have pursued a refund and customer support from them directly on their email and via phone only to find out they don't respond to emails and their phone number is a closed loop that has no option that results in speaking to a staff member.
They have essentially stolen my money without any recourse other than spending thousands of dollars taking legal action.
This company is very likely operating a large scale scam, check the Google reviews.
Customer Support is simply non existant and deliveries from their sister company are at snail pace. Its just a farce so dont even contemplate these guys. Any reviews on Google that are replied to a generic and nothing happens when they ask you to send and email to them.
