Saddle Stitch Bound Books (Self Cover) Reviews

What are Saddle Stitch Self Cover Books? If you are looking for a cost-effective and quick printing option for your booklets, catalogs, and other publications, Saddle Stitch Book (Self Cover) is just what you need. The pages are put together and folded. After that, they are stapled with wire staples through the fold line. Cover pages are printed on the same paper as the inner pages, which makes it perfect for promotional literature. When to print Saddle Stitch Self Cover Books? It is a perfect option for booklets, pamphlets, calendars, notebooks, and commercial and technical brochures. The number of pages is limited by staple capability and the weight of the paper the booklet is printed on so it is ideal for smaller page count (8-64). Make sure that the total number of pages is divisible by 4, and note that the number of pages you choose during product configuration includes cover pages.Saddle Stitch Self Cover Books Paper optionsUncoated paperUncoated paper refers to paper without any additional coating on top of its matte surface. This enables one to feel the texture of the paper fibers directly when touched. Although not as showy as glossy or silk paper, the matte effect of uncoated paper actually improves the readability and writability of the paper. When used at heavier weights, uncoated paper can have an incredibly high-end and luxurious feel. With the proper design and printing techniques, a matte effect can be created which many people prefer over glossy finishes. Additionally, uncoated paper is excellent for writing on.Gloss paperGloss paper features a special coating that reflects light, enhancing the vibrancy and vividness of bright colors and bold patterns. This paper type is ideal for designs that include full-color photographs, bright solids, or attention-grabbing graphics. While gloss text paper excels at making designs stand out, it may not be the best option if you need to include a lot of text. The shiny surface can make it challenging to read pages with small print. However, if you're creating a promotional piece that needs to make a statement, such as catalogs or magazines, gloss paper is the perfect choice.Silk paperIf you're seeking a paper that lies somewhere between the glossy high-shine and the matte surface, then you should consider silk finish paper. This type of paper has a subtle sheen that enhances the brightness of colors, without the harsh glare of full gloss. It also has a luxurious feel that's noticeably soft and smooth to the touch. Silk finish paper is highly versatile, making it an excellent choice for designs that include a lot of text. It provides a great foundation for sharp, clear typography. Unlike glossy paper, silk finish paper allows writing on it, although it's not as effortless as on uncoated paper.FSC/SFI Certified papers If you're looking for a sustainable paper option for your commercial printing needs, Rolland Enviro™ Smooth paper is an excellent choice.
