Very happy with by Newprint experience

Very happy with by Newprint experience. They were responsive and eager to make sure I was happy with my print job. There was some font fading in my initial mock-up and they were super helpful in troubleshooting the problem. I will be a returning customer.

I should have read google reviews…

I should have read google reviews before trusting them with my order.
I communicated the urgency for reliability and my timeline several times over the phone, and by email that I needed my project printed and shipped by a certain date. They said no problem, have it in by Monday, we'll get you the proof to get approved, and it'll be printed and shipped within 5 business days. This worked great for me - but I emailed today only to discover that they haven't even started the process. The owner got defensive with a really unprofessional tone and shed all responsibility and offered me to pay a $450 print fee to have it fast tracked to meet my deadline... This hurt my project - I'm under a very tight deadline. Very disappointed with Newprint. Open to them making it right.

*UPDATE - They did not compromise and still requested I pay a $500 fee for next day printing options, stating that they're a busy company. This exploitation seems to be a common theme in their google reviews.
They are relentless with shifting accountability in anyway they can.
Beware of exploitive business practices.

** 2nd update
I've been contacted by one of their founders, in summary they're blaming me for not uploading the right file (which I didn't do and remedied quickly the next day), while ignoring every other element of what's happened here. A very unprofessional 'frame-game' approach to evade accountability.

Our team spent a significant amount of time including over the weekend, providing samples and technical guidance to ensure your 60 unique card designs would print perfectly. In custom printing, the '5-business-day' clock begins once a print-ready PDF is approved. Because the initial files were in a format we couldn't process and required several rounds of adjustments to fix bleed and margin issues, we weren't able to move into production as quickly as we all hoped.

The rush fee offered was not intended to be a burden, but was the only internal way to bypass our current production queue to meet your specific deadline once the files were finally ready.

We apologize if our tone felt defensive; our priority was simply to be transparent about the technical reality of the project. We’d still love to help you get these cards right for your campaign if you’re open to it. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.

*UPDATE - Hi Aaron, thank you for the update. To provide clarity on the timeline:

The Goal: We requested print-ready PDFs by Monday morning to guarantee a standard 5-day turnaround for a May 4th delivery.

The Reality: We did not receive a usable PDF until Tuesday Evening after working hours.

The Support: Prior to any order being placed or a deposit made, our team provided hours of free technical consultation, weekend phone support, and custom samples to help you succeed.

We cannot 'compromise' by bumping our existing, paid clients to prioritize an unpaid project that missed the technical deadline for a standard turnaround. The rush fee is a standard industry requirement to cover the additional labor and machine time needed to bypass a production queue.
