Ordered what was advertised as a safari chef 2. Paid extra for what I thought was going to be an upgraded version to be sent the original product.
Was told its name has been changed and theres no such item.
Not sure why they advertise it as a 2 if it doesn't exist.
The photo they used to advertise was a different product, this has since been changed after my complaint so they clearly know it was misleading
I returned it at my own cost as they refused to pay it. Would avoid at all cost as customer service is awful. Tried to settle the issue as civil as possible over email but has come to this unfortunately.

The staff in NC&L have helped us many times. They are always knowledgeable and polite.
For a near-monopoly in Newquay, their prices are always very reasonable.

Ordered a groundsheet. Received an email with tracking details saying it would be shipped in 1-3 working days. That was weeks ago. The website address is in the uk and says get in contact if any issues. I have emailed twice with no response and my credit card has been charged a fee for using international currency! Still not received the item

Item I ordered was fine. I paid for 24 hour delivery but the item took 12 days to arrive, 2 days after I had left for the camping trip I ordered the item for.

Dont trust this Place.... they sell dangerous gas appliances - ive lost all the hair on my arm and face due to it blowing up and they claim the gas canister was installed incorrectly... If you knew anything about "safe" gas appliances you would know the door is not supposed to close if the gas is installed incorrectly and it certainly shouldnt light so your talking rubbish. He then refused to refund us so avoid like the plague. Im sure he will be along with some snidey response shortly as i told them this review would be left. He eventually agreed to hold onto the heater and see if he could gain his money back from his supplier so all about not loosing his pennies and nothing about his customer safety or respect as a retailer. We wait with baited breath to see if we get that refund. if i do ill change the review if your still reading this he left us with a dangerous appliance.

Purchased Camptec awning & storm strap, arrived with manufacturer's fault, arrived halfway through the season.

Not too much of a problem but the lack off communication and lack of customer service was pathetic.

Storm strap never arrived and communication stopped completely.

Cheap and cheerful wetsuit, great value, friendly staff.

We ordered a number of dometic windbreaks, they were the best price we found on the Internet. They arrived well packaged, in perfect condition and in a couple of days of ordering. Which was especially good as it was within a few days of Christmas. We will, no doubt, be buying from them again.

Bought a Vango Rome 2 Air tent from this company. £854 and first time we used it we had water in the lounge area, which should be waterproof!!! Contacted the company twice by email - nothing. We have had to contact PayPal and get them involved to sort the issue out for us. I will be contacting Consumer Protection to report Newquay Camping's conduct as the tent is not fit for purpose. Very dissapointed with the service and would avoid buying anything from them!!

Nightmare company. Avoid at all costs.Bought what was advertised as a drive away air awning but realised when read manufacturers instructions that it wasn't a driver away awning. I rang their customer service and was dealt with by an extremely aggressive Lee who basically told me to ignore mslanufacturers instructions as they were wrong and that I couldnt return it as it had been opened. So much for hassle free returns. Ended up giving the junk air awning away. Total waste of £380. I'll say it again avoid at all costs unless you want to lose your money

Since visiting the camping show where I brought a new tent I have now ordered numerous other camping equipment from the store online. Always the best price and fast delivery. Will definitely be shopping again. Thank you

Awful. Basically lied every time I rang or emailed saying the tent had been posted. Still no sign of tent 2 weeks later

We purchased an item and asked if it fitted our current awning. It turns out it didn’t. Since making contact to ask about it we received no customer service whatsoever.

They sent one e-mail which virtually said ‘tough’. Since then no response.

We recently spent £1,700 on a new awning to fit the annexe. We completely understand that problems occur and had they tried to help in any way we would’ve understood and been grateful but this service (or complete lack of it) was appalling.

Prompt delivery of an Outwell kitchen table, however, on opening up the table found the zip to be faulty and could not be opened. I reported the issue via the site and and email so I could attach photos. I was initially concerned as I received no communication until approx. a week later from Damian the owner. He apologised as they’d had a v busy week prompting delays and offered a few options. I’m please to say an amicable resolution was found and all is now well. Thank you Damian

Great experience with Newquay Camping and Leisure; I'd never heard of them before and there didn't seem to be a lot of reviews on Trustpilot so I was a bit apprehensive about what experience I'd have. But, my daughter lost her water bottle and desperately wanted the same one, and the only people to have it in stock were Newquay Camping and Leisure. So I placed my order at 10:26am yesterday and by 8:15am today it was here. You can't complain about that!

I did send a message via the chat box on their website to check that the bottle was definitely in stock before I ordered it, but unfortunately it's not a live chat so I couldn't get an immediate answer that way. I took a punt and ordered the bottle anyway and about an hour later I got a nice email response from Damian who confirmed there was one bottle in stock and it was already on it's way to me. Really impressed with the service, the very quick delivery, and the item was just as expected and very well packaged. I rarely write reviews, but they deserved it. Would definitely recommend.

Good pricing and excellent fast delivery on both occasions I purchased from this company. I spoke to a staff member regarding an item and he was very pleasant and professional. Will certainly shop here again.
