Returning the Bike: nightmare

Hiring the bike was easy, as you would expect, but the return of the bike was unbelievably difficult.
And the person on the end of the customer service line wasn’t much better

Next bike is broken

I was charged £20 for not returning the bike to the station. Bike never unlocked so I didn't move it at all. This is 3 time that happens. Bikes are in bad condition and electric battery usually are dead and they charge you for that more than Uber

Worst app ever. I was kicked out of the app and won’t let me in again, I receive a PIN code and it doesn’t work, I still have money left in my app balance. I don't think this is legal. I'm thinking about calling the police

I am writing to express my extreme…

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the level of customer service provided by Next Bike, as my recent experience has been nothing short of appalling.

During a recent interaction with a Next Bike advisor to address an issue with my account, I was shocked and deeply disappointed to be met with unprofessional behavior. Instead of offering assistance, the advisor threatened to block my account, which is completely unacceptable.

Furthermore, when I attempted to escalate the issue by requesting to file a formal complaint over the phone, the call was abruptly ended. Upon calling back, I was met with another advisor who displayed a lack of professionalism by speaking over me and adopting a mean tone. Additionally, they revealed that they are pressured by the company to act in certain ways, which is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Next Bike as a service provider.

This experience has left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer of Next Bike. It is deeply concerning that individuals who pay for a service do not receive the level of care and respect they deserve.

I demand that Next Bike takes immediate action to address these issues. I request that all of my calls be listened to for training purposes, and I expect to receive a GDPR-compliant record of these calls. Additionally, I am seeking compensation on my account for the unacceptable treatment I have endured.

It is imperative that Next Bike takes this complaint seriously and implements measures to improve its customer service standards. I trust that appropriate action will be taken to rectify this situation and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Horrible company

Horrible company, they charged me €27 saying that i parked bike outside their parking area, when I’ve been parking there fir 3times because on their map it shows that its their parking spot!!!!

I've used next bike fairly regularly…

I've used next bike fairly regularly for over a year on monthly subscription. I'd love to be able to rely on them for commuting, however you can't rely on getting one in the morning. I've noticed Sunday is particularly bad day, seems to me students etc will ride them into town for night out and leave them there so there are rarely many if any outside city centre in morning. I'd love to be able to rely on them.

Appalling

What a terrible company. 99% of rides end with a call to customer support because the bike fails to dock or undock. Service renews annually but no prior warning is given and there is no way to cancel or change subscription settings on the app. Scam company.

Surreal experience, not a 1 a -1

Surreal experience..

Used to be good few years ago but turned to dogshi*.
They put bikes away for 4 months and I paid a full year
I park and lick a bike after 10 min wanna continuo and lock wont open so i complain they ignore then charge me for not returning and ignore my complains about the whole thing after
Support has 0 idea, its like they employed people from the special needs department
Changed the option to take yearlsly subscribe to need to input card.. like hell I am gona get my card to shady company with 0 security experts so they can charge imaginary fees

Zero stars if possible.
Kolobrzeg nextbike-bike very heavy.
They chase you for 5zl sending multiple emails.
Poor app management,they can’t get the auto payment to charge for whatever time used by customer.
Horrible experience will use other providers.

Waste of time

I love the idea of this scheme and so I signed up recently and waited for a nice clear day to explore my greenway area on an e-bike. Sorry to report but tier bikes are a disaster. Firstly I booked went to my e-bike to find it vandalised . The pedal was gone and the saddle was broken . Ok so that can happen so I next searchedfor another one and walked ten minutes only to find there was no bike at all in the second location! So now I decided to come home and try for a third time , thirdtime lucky perhaps? No such luck ! When I find the bike it’s not an e-bike as shown in the app and also I have a filter to only show me e-bike anyway .. however when I get there it’s not an ebike but a pedal bike ! This company will not last as they’re too much inefficiency. Don’t waste your time .

App problèmes gave me a bill of 3€ extra

Problems with the app. The app was not giving permission to end the session and therefore I payed 3 € extra…!!! It was not even possible to send a “problem report” of the right problem.

Also the electrics scooters was not as fast up a small hilltop like other scooters.

I have received 90 euro in fines after the app falsely claims I did not park in registered stations. There is no indicators/sign where the stations are. When I checked on the map in the app I always parked at a station but still receive these fines.

Stolen £20 for following instructions

Terrible product and appalling service.

I arrived in Cardiff on the train, spent 10 minutes trying to make an account through a very clunky signup process, eventually succeeded, found one of the few bikes available, and cycled to my location. I got there, then searched for a nearby bike station. I had to walk 10 minutes to get there, which is not a problem I have in London where you can leave these bikes anywhere, and locked it in the bike station when I arrived.

The next day they stole £20 from me, claiming I'd not left it at an electric bike station, which makes no sense to me, and when I said I had left it at a bike station, they very rudely claimed I was wrong without providing any evidence or explanation. I'm assuming there are electric and non-electric bike stations, though this is not clear from the app and they haven't actually explained that to me.

They then gave me £10 in credit as “goodwill”, as if I would ever use this service again. Truly shocking. Would not recommend, I'll either wait for a competent bike rental provider to arrive in Cardiff or just get an Uber next time.

Can't change pin or create a new account

Dumb nextbike by tier does not want to reset my PIN to log in or to create a new profile. Literal company that does not take money. Their engineering incompetence made it impossible for me to access the bike: hence you all lost money. Disappointed

Avoid!

Be careful. If you will use it in Croatia, they will ask to make a "testing" 10 EUR payment. Later they keep your 10 EUR as some "nextbike credit". So you're planning 1-2 rides, and then leaving Croatia, then you'll never be able to get your money back.
