Great deal to Florida

I look forward to their emails always!! Due to pandemic, I was unable to utilize them for a good while! However, we finally booked a trip through their recommendations for this coming December to go to Florida round trip from Philadelphia for under 150 dollars a ticket … what a steal!! We can’t wait!!

Stay clear of Next Vacay!

I would suggest staying far away from a membership with Next Vacay. At least, be aware of their auto-renewal policy when you sign up. I paid for a membership for one year and never found anything of use to me in their email deals. I did not realize they would automatically renew my membership after a year, which they claim was made clear when I initially signed up. This may be the case, but I did not see that information. When the auto renewal charge showed up on my credit card, I contacted them to cancel my membership and get a refund for that charge. They refused, stating they will only give a refund if you contact them within 14 days of the charge. Unfortunately, I did not see the charge until 28 days later, so I missed the window. There is no way they will provide a refund. It does seem like a scam, as other reviewers have stated.

As you reached out to our support team, we did attempt to address all of your concerns with our emails, but we understand if you still have some remaining.
We do state that it is an annual membership when members sign up. It is highlighted on the signup screen that the first 30-days are a free trial period, and then we charge $25/year. This information is also included in the welcome emails sent to your inbox as well as in the copy of our Frequently Asked Questions which we provide for our members' convenience. Our website also highlights that our members are free to cancel their subscription at any time, and again, this information is included in the FAQs sent to your inbox upon joining.
We never received any complaints of our service, so we were unaware if you had been unable to utilize any of the deals. We do offer a 6-month money-back guarantee for the first membership charge, in the event that something like this happens and members cannot use the service for whatever reason, but this was never taken advantage of. Your membership remained active without any requests or attempts to cancel, and our records show you received and consistently opened the deals delivered to your inbox.
The details of your subscription were clearly laid out at signup and after in the information we sent to your email. We also ask members to agree to our Terms of Service before signup to ensure they're fully aware of the details of their subscription. We are sorry to hear you feel like we are a scam because we follow our terms and policies as laid out for customers. As the terms to qualify for a refund were not met, the charge in question is ineligible for a refund. However, if there are extenuating circumstances regarding this charge that you'd like to make us aware of, please don't hesitate to contact our team at help@nextvacay.com so we may review your request.

However, our team was able to respond to your email within an hour and confirmed your subscription had been canceled.

Scam

Scam, scam, scam!! Unending “auto renewal”. Fine print that they hang there hat on. Never found a useful deal either. Poor customer service. All they say is “our company policy states......”. Yada, yada, yada. If they can’t refund $25 then they’re a scam!! DONT SUBSCRIBE!!! Oh...and I’m sure they’ll put some long winded gobbledygook about company policies and time limits to try to justify their scam. But still a scam just the same. “A rose.....”

To clarify, our subscriptions do not have an unending auto-renewal. Because our service is an annual subscription, it does renew every year on the same date as your first charge, which we state at signup, in the welcome emails, and in our Terms of Service. However, the auto-renewal can easily be turned off at any time during your subscription, either directly from your account or by placing a request to do so with our support team. We have team members available via email and live chat to provide assistance as quickly as possible with anything you may need.
As for our company policy, in terms of refunds, we offer what we believe to be a generous refund policy with a 30-day free trial to start and then a 6-month money-back guarantee, which members can use to request a refund at any time within their initial six months of membership if they are dissatisfied with or unable to utilize the deals. After that, we offer a 14-day grace period for all renewal charges if members decide they don't wish to continue after the first year.
If your request for a credit came outside of either of these refund periods, your charge would be ineligible for a refund, but if there are any extenuating circumstances you'd like to make us aware of, you can reach out to our support team at help@nextvacay.com so we can review your request further!

I didn't book the flight that was sent…

I was able to find a great flight deal within a week or 2 of signing up. I didn't book the flight that was sent to me (Baltimore to Ft. Lauderdale) but this alert prompted me to look for flights from DC to Orlando (the flights were almost $300). I was able to find flights for under $200 😁. This service is definitely worth it. Keep up the good work!

We got tickets to St CROIX for $354 each round trip! We are flying in mid February 2022. It will be my third trip to the island it but has been YEARS since our last trip. Feels so good.

Charged without notice

Hi, too, I have been charged for their annual fee of $25. And have tried multiple ways to sign into my account, sent email to their helpdesk and even alerted my credit card company. I was never alerted by next vacay that they were going to charge me this $25 annual fee. Do not sign up for the service or you will be paying $25 forever annually!!

To be clear, we do make an effort to clearly state on our website, terms of service, welcome email, and in the customer renewal date in the member portal that the charge is annual and when members can expect their next annual payment. While we haven't had the resources or opportunity to make many system updates this past year due to COVID-19, we are working hard to update our system in the future so that we can send out reminder notices and continue to be transparent about our service and the membership charges.
As for your attempts to get in touch with our support team and receive the login link, I do believe the first email you sent to our support team was on April 7th and we responded to that and your follow-up email within 24 hours. Due to the issue with your email server that we mentioned in our reply, most of our emails weren't making it through to your account email, so we verified your cancellation and all other account details at the second address provided. We can confirm from our end that all of those emails were delivered successfully and that you will not be charged further. We haven't been informed of any remaining issues so far, but if there's anything else we can do to assist you, we'd be more than happy to. You're welcome to respond to the previous email thread you created or reach us via help@nextvacay.com or the live chat option on our website. Thanks!

Non-customer friendly

Want to warn others using this service that it's not customer friendly. I signed up for a year to try out this service. Unfortunately I soon figured out it was not going to be very useful for my case: 1) barely any deals from the major airports (Atlanta in my case) to destinations of my interests (this can be personal). 2) COVID ensured I was not looking into any travel opportunities anymore. The latter also ensured i completely forgot about the service till i got a request from my credit card company to pay the fee again. Reaching out to the company, explaining the situation there was some back and forth (gave them 2nd star purely for their quick response), it was clear they didn't want to hear any of it and stick to their policy that if you didn't unsubscribe in advance and if you did not open an email policy states this is not possible, even though the new year just started and COVID is still there. Very disappointing, and not what i expect from a company these days anymore. Also additional warning it's not straightforward to find even how to opt out of the service and you do not get any reminder that your new term will start. Finding your account portal is also not straightforward. Seems they try to make things difficult to ensure these situations occur more frequently. I'm sure i'm not the only one whom ran into this.

We make it clear on our website that we don't take requests for specific destinations but rather, we alert you to all of the best deals we find available from your airports. In addition to the deals we send from your home airport, we also send deals from surrounding airports. However, this feature can be easily adjusted from your account at any time if you only wish to see deals from specific airports.
As for Covid affecting your travel plans, I'm very sorry to hear this. We offer all first-year memberships a 6-month money-back guarantee which can be used for any reason, but as we were not alerted to any inability to travel or concerns regarding traveling, your membership remained active and we continued to send the deals as requested. Our records show our emails were being delivered and viewed from your inbox both before and after your renewal place.
We do pride ourselves on being customer-oriented and providing a quality experience, which is why I'm sad to hear you were disappointed with yours. That said, we make our Terms of Service very clear upon signup so there is no confusion about what members can expect. We outline the annual nature of our membership, when customers can expect their first membership charge after the 30-day free trial, and how members are eligible for and can request a refund within 6-months of being charged if they are unable to take advantage of the deals. We did not receive such a request or any feedback regarding a negative experience or inability to utilize the deals, which we continued to send out after vetting for safety and the flexibility to make adjustments should your travel plans be affected due to Covid-19.
Because we offer such an extended period to try us out, with the 30-day free trial and 6-month money-back guarantee, we do stick closely to our policy guidelines as they're explained to members. Of course, we are more than happy to take into account any extenuating circumstances, but none were offered in this case.
In regards to accessing your account, I do want to clarify that we have an option for this on our website, where we include a link to the log-in page, and we also include a link in every deal email sent to your inbox to ensure there's no confusion.

At signup, members agree to our Terms and confirm they will be charged $25 USD after the free trial ends if they don't cancel during their trial period. Consequently, after your trial ended, we attempted to charge your card on file. The payment initially failed, so we did attempt the charge again several days later, but we don't retry failed payments every day or every other day, and you should have received a notification each time we attempted to bill your card. Members can easily contact us by responding to those emails or reaching out to us directly, and you can also access your member portal to cancel if you don't wish to continue your subscription.
From our records, it looks like you reached out yesterday for the first time to cancel your subscription, and we were able to cancel and confirm this shortly after you contacted us. You should have received a confirmation email to your inbox, but if you have any other questions or concerns about the status of your membership, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team at help@nextvacay.com, and we'll make sure you're taken care of.

Scam! Continue to charge renewals without contact link to cancel

I tried this for one year and never used their services. There was no email with renewal notice. Just a charge on my credit card exactly one year after membership started. As soon as I saw the charge on my statment, I tried contacting them to cancel. The only contact information for cancellation was a link on their original membership email. I clicked on the link to cancel; no response. I sent another email and someone got back to me stating that they could not refund the renewal because it was past the renewal date. This is a scam! Be very diligent about using this service. Mark your calendar way before the renewal date and start contacting them about cancellation. This is unlike other membership services, where they send reminders of your upcoming renewal. Once they charge the yearly renewal, they will not refund your money. The worst customer service! Except for the tiny link on the bottom of the original email, there is no way of contacting them.

In addition to the easy cancellation options, we try to give our members an extended period of time to try us out, so after the 30-day free trial period, we also offer a 6-month money-back guarantee. That's 7 months that our members can try us out risk-free and if our service isn't a good fit, they can request their money back, no questions asked.
We didn't receive any complaints or negative feedback from you regarding our service, so your membership remained active and we continued sending out the customized deals. As outlined in our Terms, we offer a 14-day grace period for renewals, so if members do unwittingly renew, they can still cancel and reach out to our support team for a refund. Unfortunately, the charge in question was already a month old when we received a request to cancel, and our records showed that our deals had been delivered and opened both before and after your renewal and leading up to your refund request, making it ineligible for such a refund.

You gave our Family the opportunity to be together again!

We totally did this, thank you. My 15-year-old HAS to fly direct, and this is the PERFECT flight. Because of your email, I was able to get my parents to agree to have him this summer (something they didn't get last year, but he has done most of his life). The price and timing mean we can afford it and that they will be COVID vaccinated by then. Thanks for bringing our family back together!
