Absolute robbing b******s
Absolute robbing b******s. I work at the hospital and pay as staff to park then get charged for dropping my mum off at an appointment. Impossible to read small signs. The other company that ran the hospital parking let staff park where they wanted.
Bad design of new trains.
Though the old metro trains were unreliable the new trains don’t seem to be much better.
Even though the new Metro trains are clean, very quiet & smooth they lack basic functions like the old train.
Firstly there are less seats & the seats they do have are rock hard.
The worst aspect of the new trains are there are NO windows to open & allow fresh air into the train 😡
I have know doubt that the operator will point to the air conditioning but I am sorry to say it’s rubbish & as the trains get older I have no doubt they will get worse.
Greedy Scammers
The company are scammers, they do not care about their customers one bit. I paid for a journey using a pop card, the card was scanned it at the station I got on and had a sufficient fund (£7) for the £1 journey. The pop card had become invalid (this is not my fault I still had money and was unaware that it had become invalid). The fined me £100 which I appealed twice. Even their own staff on the phone said it was ridiculous that I was getting fined! Then they sent me a court letter for the fine. A court letter, for a journey that was paid for and I additionally lost money from them taking the card off me so either way they profited. Greedy company that does not care about loyal customers.
Seen better train service in third world countries
I have the misfortune of having to rely on this unreliable service 2 days a week. I can guarantee there will be some issue every week whether it’s a leaf on the track, overhead cable problems or just not enough trains running. Terrible service for the working population of the north east. Late again for work today. Cheers nexus 😡

Nexus are the most farcical company I have had the misfortune of dealing with and it is pretty laughable that customers pay for this ‘service’. Good to see the price increases made the service even worse than previously

NEXUS A dreadful example of a Private (Pirate ) Parking Company trying to extort money in unscrupulous and over zealous use of CCTV camera evidence to claim rule breaking - AVOID THIER MOTORWAY CLIENTS LIKE 59 x MOTO service stations!!
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Nexus manage the staff car park where I work and am registered to park my car. I’ve now had a number of fines from parking in the car park that my vehicle should be able to park in. Nexus online platform doesn’t recognise the PCN’s, you can’t appeal by phone and they don’t respond to appeal letters. Now facing debt recovery. Not fit for any kind of purpose. Unable to follow their own procedures.

Can someone please sort out the introduction of the new trams. Sitting in sidings in Switzerland getting covered in graffiti, entering service at a snails pace, frequent breakdowns and doors opening on the wrong side. It’s been 5 months since the first one was rushed into service so that it could be claimed that the promised 2024 deadline had been met. We are nearly into June and nearly all of the services are still operated by the faithful old units rather than the new £362 million fleet!!

From personal experience:
From personal experience:
These people are scamming and robbing the members of the public. They were provided with a poof that I was a guest of a hotel but they firmly ignored the evidence and insist on their fine.
At the top of that they do not provide responses on official complaints.
Obviously they have to be sued.

The metro ticket staff abuse their power and don't represent nexus as a good, friendly service. They need to consider being more compassionate when possible, whether this is an issue with management or the hiring process something needs to change!

The nexus ticket staff are bullies, they target and intimidate young vulnerable children leaving them terrified.
I’m appalled at the level of intimidation they place on the vulnerable!! They then have the audacity to call police if anyone speaks up to them!!
Terrible service all around !!

Yet again service suspended between shiremoor and Benton. I drove to Benton, got on a metro. 2 minutes after getting on , an announcement that this train is now terminating at South Gosforth! Trying to use this mode of public transport is an absolute nightmare, they are totally incompetent

Frustrating
Nice looking. Clean but...
The seats are uncomfortable and narrow. There is no front seat anymore. The signage is confusing...wheelchair and buggy accessibility shown on the door and floor but there are 3 seats there. Do they lift up? That could be a source of friction?
THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND MOST EXPENSIVE…
THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND MOST EXPENSIVE METRO SERVICE IN EUROPE. Delays over delays, gaps, driving with 10-15 miles p/h. Boiling hot when it’s not even that cold outside and freezing when temperatures are below zero. PopCards with One Network tickets are not available to scan on trains (even though you pay for them) and they ask you to request a print that will be sent in 7-8 working days. A joke. It also takes 48 hours for a ticket to be added to your PopCard. 48 HOURS!!
This is definitely not a Third World Country transportation system.
