Wrongful toll declarations leading to inflated UPS chargey
They make wrongful toll declarations leading to insane inflated UPS charges the customers get charged with. If pointed out these mistakes that are obviously on them, they just pull the old "import fees are out of are control" - no they are not if you are a serious business! So just don't bother ordering from them to Switzerland, you might get UPS charges (or also might not, it's completely random in my experience), no matter how high or low the cost of your shipment.

Ordered a couple of times from this store, products are ok, but nothing I would pay a fortune for. With the last order, Black Friday Special deals, I had to pay an additional 35 CHF on top - more than the actual product. First time, never happened before, won't order again. According to UPS this is due to changes Niche made.. yes, Niche, you clearly write it's the customers responsibility somewhere in your AGBs, but don't make the customer responsible if you change the way how you export and when you change your agreement with UPS, just to save costs. Also, customer service is absolutely inappropriate! Adios...
Hidden Fees Not Disclosed on Website
I’m really disappointed with Niche Beauty Lab. I placed several small orders under the Swiss tax-free limit, expecting that any additional charges would depend solely on the legal rules of the destination country — exactly as stated on their website.
But in reality, they ship only with UPS, and UPS charges import and brokerage fees even when no customs fees are legally due. This directly contradicts their claim that “customs and tax expenses of the destination country” apply. They do not mention anywhere that their chosen carrier adds its own fees regardless of local law.
As a result, I’m being charged over 60% of the product value for a parcel clearly below the Swiss VAT threshold. For me, this is misleading and feels like customer deception — the information is incomplete, non-transparent, and creates false expectations. The surcharge is also extremely disproportionate.
Considering how heavily the brand advertises in Switzerland, they should clearly warn customers that UPS adds its own fees even when no charges are due under local law. They are clearly aware of this issue given the many complaints on their social channels. I’m writing this so other Swiss customers are warned.

Great products at a fantastic price point. Delivery within a week. Tried quite a few products now and will repurchase, no nonsense, no fragrance and effective formulation is a winning formula.

Wish I could give negative stars. What a terrible product and even more terrible customer service.
I ordered their transparent sunscreen because my face has pits from pimples and the regular sunscreen gets stuck in them. But this product is just oil. Like literally nothing but oil. Turns my face so oily and I started getting more pimples which I’m sure is caused by the sunscreen blocking my pores.
I don’t want to even try reaching out to them because I reached out to them before I started using the product if I could get some discount on this because just after I ordered the product, they started running Black Friday discount and I thought they could extend the offer retroactively as a good will.
They not only said no, but mocked me and was sarcastic throughout. I know it’s only a couple of euros but then I was going to order more products.
Well, it doesn’t matter now because the product is so terrible. Not ordering any more products but unfortunately the product hit the trash bin.
First time order
It was my first time ordering from this shop. After placing the order, I saw some negative reviews on Trustpilot and got a bit worried, but I still hoped for the best. The delivery took about two weeks, but my order arrived yesterday in perfect condition. Overall, a positive experience.
GREAT products & packaging
I rarely write reviews, but this time I have to. After countless trials and trying so many overhyped products promoted on social media, none of them ever lived up to their promises. I always ended up ordering each brand only once — until I discovered Niche Beauty Lab.
I’ve been using Niche Beauty Lab serums for over a year now, and I keep repurchasing them. TOP, TOP quality! My long search is finally over. The products are super gentle on the skin and truly deliver what they promise.
A huge bonus: the packaging design! Inside, there’s a vacuum-style plastic pouch that shrinks as you use the product — no waste at all. You can literally use every last milligram, and they don’t push you into repurchasing early because of leftover product stuck in the bottle. Please never change the packaging and inner design of your peptide products — it’s such a unique selling point!

Order not shipped after two weeks
I placed an order on 8th September during a sale. Until now nothing happed. The customer service is not willing to help and fairly rude. I have no information when the order will finally get shipped or whether it will get shipped at all.

Huge additional charges in UK
If you order in the UK you will be hit with massive import fees and an additional admin charge from UPS which was about 1/3 the total cost of my rather large order. This is not clear on their website, only very small text under a separate shipping page where it says non-EU countries may be subject to local charges. Customer services are completely unhelpful as are UPS, the only option is to pay, or wait for UPS to send it back, then they will only issue a refund minus shipping costs. UPS state that the sender can opt to cover charges, however Niche refuse to offer this option. I will not be repurchasing as it is too expensive and I can buy excellent products from Korea, or from brands within the UK without these additional charges. Take a look at other options such as geek and gorgeous or MAS skincare

Will never buy from them again
Worst customer service ever. I asked them to cancel an order right after I made it (I had ordered the wrong product) but they purposely delayed replying to me so that the order was shipped and they got my money. The return process is also too confusing.

I’m very happy with this company overall. The products are truly high quality, and I love the minimalist design. They’re cruelty-free, which is very important to me. I usually place a large order every 3–5 months — the website is easy to use, and the free shipping across Europe is impressively fast. Customer service is always helpful and responsive.
Definitely worth it, I highly recommend!
My only suggestion: it would be great to include samples of new products based on skin type in the loyalty program. I’d love to try new items without committing to full-size packaging right away. Also, a motivational loyalty program for returning customers would be a nice touch.
But overall – I’m fully satisfied. Thank you for your great work, keep it up!

Fast delivery to Austria even though it was a very busy time for NBL (new launch and sale). Furthermore, Julia from customer service was very helpful and wrote back super quickly.
Packaging seems sustainable. Haven't tried the products yet.

Niche Beauty Lab has an amazing range of products at an excellent price ratio.
I have been using an expensive brand but with Niche I can find high end ingredients with serums suitable for all skin types and issues. The SPF products are top spec.

Good products, free shipment, good customer service
I use a product for a skin with acne and also a product with peptides of this brand, both because they were recommended by my skincare therapist. I am very satisfied with the result. Also, I enjoy a free and fast shipping that they offer.
Once I had a problem introducing a discount code, but the customer service was very helpful and the issue was resolved. Highly recommended brand!

I would have loved to write something about the products, but unfortunately, nothing has been processed since the day I placed my order – it's been over 10 days now.
Customer service has also been completely unresponsive, despite multiple attempts to reach out.
Overall, a poor experience in terms of both communication and service.
At this point, I cannot recommend buying from this store.
