Niddal came highly recommended to us when we wanted to replace our windows. We have had a smooth and efficient service from initial contact right through to completion.

Russ was so helpful, advising on appropriate options and the admin was accurate and clear throughout.

The fitting team were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us during the installation. They were respectful of our home and garden didn't leave until we were completely happy. The windows are good quality, look great and have made a big difference to our home.

I can not praise this company enough!!
My job was tricky as I live in a Victorian property, which had originally had box sash windows, which had been ripped out & replaced with (awful) plastic casing throughout which I wanted ripping out & replacing.

Every company that I had come to give me a quote made an absolute song & dance about it; one guy walked off & said that he wouldn’t do it & another convinced me that it was such a complicated job that he quoted me an additional six grand to what Niddal did!

Kevin from Niddal did not make a fuss when he came to have a look & asked if I’d prefer the casings to be replaced with plastic or wood. I went for wood as I can repaint whenever needed.

The team (Neil, Adam & Dom) were punctual & hard working & what a professional job of something so tricky they have done! My whole house is transformed & my new windows & doors (& casing) look so regal!

Used to be good but now I wouldn't touch them, conning my mother out of money to replace a window which was still under guarantee and was caused by replacement of adjacent panel the day previous. Snotty vile owner... they deserve to go out of business.

A number of issues with the Niddal experience in Knaresborough. Starting with the quoting process, after accepting the price and paying the deposit Niddal informed me they hadn't included two windows so increased the price. During fitting, the fitters broke a light fitting, trampled plants below the window (killing them). The final straw, was feeling the draft and actually seeing sunlight between the frame and the wall from inside the room.

Bought from Niddal before with excellent service and products.
Triple glazing this time and not very happy with either the installation team, meant to be the A team, or the quality of the finished product.
Most windows leak air through the side opening window and one somehow manages to hit the roof fascia when opened. A very disappointing experience. Took out most of the windows at the same time allowing dust and debris to blow everywhere in the house, took sometime to return to normal.
Not sure what's happened to a previous excellent company but lots of other companies provide this service in the Harrogate area - I will look elsewhere next time.
