Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 139 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers report significant issues with customer service, describing it as unhelpful and difficult to get a resolution, often feeling ignored or receiving robotic responses. People frequently experience problems with their orders, including missing items, incorrect products, or orders not arriving at all. Delivery services are a major point of frustration, with many parcels being delayed, marked as delivered but not received, or sent to incorrect locations without proper collection codes. Reviewers also express dissatisfaction with the refund process, often struggling to obtain refunds for undelivered or returned items, with some being told their returns were not received or that they would not be refunded. Additionally, some customers received products with quality issues, such as glue stains, peeling soles, or manufacturing faults, which were often dismissed as wear and tear.

Returned Trainers – No Refund, Treated Like a Liar

Absolutely shocked by Nike’s customer service. I returned a pair of Nike trainers via their official returns process (InPost) and have proof of postage. Nike received the return but is now claiming I sent back a non-Nike item, which is completely untrue.

Despite repeated attempts to get this resolved, I’ve been met with automated responses and no proper investigation. I’ve asked for escalation and for them to contact InPost, but they’ve refused and now want to return the “non-Nike” item back to me — an item I never sent in the first place!

This feels like a scam, and I’m left out of pocket for an item I returned exactly as instructed. I will be reporting this to Trading Standards, filing a chargeback, and sharing my experience widely so others don’t end up in the same position.

Avoid shopping with Nike. If something goes wrong, you’re on your own.

RUBBISH QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TO MATCH

Son got a pair of Phantom Gx elite boots which ripped at lace hole after 2 wears. Contacted Nike with the problem but they don’t want to entertain it at all even when it’s such a reoccurring problem. Nike gear is getting worse by the day but also getting more expensive. STAY AWAY

I was given a pair of Air Max 1 as a Christmas present and the toe felt colour bled and smudged across on to the white of the shoe.
Nike said I can send the faulty pair back, but as they were bought in a Black Friday deal Nike will not refund the price I’d now have to pay for a replacement pair. So I’d have to pay an additional £35 for a replacement pair.
Nike offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience but then told me I can only use it on full price non custom items, which they don’t have in my size!
For a company of this size that seems very brand aware this is terrible customer service.

Ive shopped with them for years but now they've lost a loyal customer when the original fault was there's and not mine.

Nike. Terrible. Service Terrible.

I actually wish I had read the reviews. I’m a huge trainer fan and have hundreds of pair. Mostly Jordan or Nike. But on this occasion. I returned a pair of trainers that I’d worn a handful of times. The material has started to fray on the top of the trainer. Cost £160. I bought in sale so only £106. I returned them under warranty. But it’s been awhile now and I keep getting told 3-5 days. It’s straightforward. I’ve actually replaced them already and bought some DN8 trainers. So Nike get a lot from me. But if this is how they are going to treat me I won’t be buying anything more from them. Not a pair of socks.

The worst customer service department I have ever had to deal with. One colleague tells your one thing, then someone tells you the total opposite. They just cut you off the online chat and don't want to transfer you to a manager when you repeatedly ask!! I will contact the bank to resolve the issue ... Avoid at all costs!

I’ve been a loyal Nike customer

I’ve been a loyal Nike customer for years, but I’m honestly very disappointed with how they’ve handled my recent experience. My account was suddenly restricted without any clear explanation. I received no proper communication, just a generic message saying my account was blocked. I wasn’t even given the chance to understand what triggered it or to appeal the decision.

Trying to contact customer service was equally frustrating — long wait times and no real help. It feels like they just shut me out with no regard for customer loyalty or transparency.

I expected better from a brand like Nike. I won’t be shopping with them again, and I’ll be taking my business to companies that value their customers and communicate openly.

If I could give Zero stars I would…

If I could give Zero stars I would chose that. Useless online customer service and EVRI delivery company. EVRI changed a name previously for a reason, but still the same.

I ordered a pair of trainers. They said in 2-3 working days I will have them. After 3 days I received a confirmation email from NIKE on Wednesday 26th March, that it is being delivered to the pick up shop I put. When I arrived to the pick up point, on Friday 28th March, they said that Evri has never delivered it. On the tracking number by EVRI, on 26th March said " delayed and we will try to deliver in the next 24hrs. That happened on Wednesday 26th March, which never happened.
I spoke with the chatbox that NIKE has as customer service and they asked me if I want a refund or reship. I said a reship. The Nike person told me to wait until to check their systems and of course the chat went "Inactive and end conversation" because it was inactive for long time, for which I had never been informed. Afterwards, again I did the same process with another NIKE person. That person said that I see a colleague process a refund, I said I didn't ask for a refund but for a reship. Anyway they gave me a new order number.
After 3 days, today 31/03/2025, I asked NIKE via chat where is the tracking number for my order and they said that they haven't received the previous order from EVRI (Which EVRI NEVER DELIVERED) and they don't have shipped it yet, so they don't have a tracking number.
From When i first put my order is 10 days and I still haven't received the order.
Is NIKE not good company with bad reputation? Good companies provide exceptional customer service and delivery as well and they don't play with their customers.

Update: Today 02/04/2025 and still they don't provide tracking number. I requested full refund. I believe something fishy is happening here..I cancelled everything. For compensation they provided me a 15% code which is not working in the pair of shoes I am trying to purchase the last 2 weeks.

NIKE WHAT A JOKE AND I THOUGHT YOU WERE A TRUSTED COMPANY.

Nike Customer Services via phone

This is a pathectic excuse for a Customer Help Line - I hung on for 20mins and nothing - just regular prerecorded messages telling me about all the great things on the APP.
Nike get real - who is going to hang on the line for 20+ minutes waiting for someone in your customer services to answer the call.. This is quite sad, as it clearly shows how little NIKE thinks of their customers.

Terrible experience

I ordered two pairs of Nike on the 8th of January 2025, eight weeks later still no delivery, contacted Nike through chatbot, phone calls and social media, all useless, now I'm struggling to get a refund from them, there customer service is so bad, the same excuses every time, they told me they would investigate 3 weeks ago and still no response, they can't fulfill my order or even give me a refund, it's daylight robbery, terrible experience.

Nike Everyday Dri Fit sock

I’ve been wearing Nike Everyday Dri Fit Ankle sock for as long as I can remember - and never with any issues, hence my loyalty to this sock. It’s ideal with a trainer, or Vans shoe.

Lately in the last few months, I’ve noticed that after only a few wears, maybe 10-20 or so, a line of stitch just along the toe line, opens up and then a hole appears.
They’ve clearly altered the quality. Now they’re just rubbish and that’s the end of the brand buying for me.
Had a web chat with Nike Service and they’re uninterested
Nike has become crap. The trainers, rubbish, unsupportive ‘made in Vietnam’ . The tops in some Indian sweatshop, are no better. The company has lost its vision and, another customer.
Sad really, but there you go .. whether it’s a choc bar half the size, your salad drawer/fruit, or electrical - everything is now just garbage in quality and they expect us to pay more and more.
I’d bet a basic ankle sock from a supermarket would out perform this rubbish from Nike.
