I contacted Nikon with a fault on my P900. After a couple of emails telling me of some possible ways to rectify the issue it was decided to send the camera back for repair. After receiving the appropriate paperwork it was sent via UPS the same day. While it was away I was kept completely informed of the status of the repair with emails. On receiving the final email and invoice it was paid on the Tuesday and I received the camera next day via UPS. The camera was very well packaged in the box. Thanks to all at Nikon for such excellent service.

I would give zero stars if I can!!
I bought a Nikon z5 about 2 weeks ago. The delivery was so slow and I had to chase them and UPS several times!! Absolutely ridiculous!! Customers should not have to deal with delivery issues, UPS kept saying to me that there are things missing because Nikon didn’t provide them!! Delivery was so delayed and when I finally got the product it was not even turning on, so annoying, I tried all trouble shooting methods but the product, Z5 would not even turn on!! Just waw!! Avoid this company!!! I wrote to them for a refund and hopefully I can return!!
An update to this review: camera is now working fine, but Nikon sent me a faulty battery if this happens to someone else purchase a new battery.

I have sent my £2000 pound camera back to repair to their service centre in FEBRUARY. Something happened with UPS and for some reason THEY have refused the delivery. I have been going back and forth with them 3 months+ now and I am only being told to wait because UPS are not giving them an answer. I do not know how I can stop myself from writing a stronger worded review for this but for even now I am still left without my equipment and I had to take money out of my pocket to get another camera to work with for now. NOTHING happened and I am still being told to wait to this day and from what I know it seems like this is just pure theft.

Preordered the Z8 on May10th. Shipping commenced on 25th and they took my £4000. No updates for a day and when I chased told they had no stock! Then next day get a UPS email saying delivery was scheduled - then a few hours later DELAYED. 5 Days later and still DELAYED - why - because Nikon haven't supplied customs documents to import my camera fro Netherlands to UK! Appalling service with no updates as promised several times, "livechat" never available, emails still not answered after 2 days

Problem with my camera after only 9 months. Nikon website advised repairs are taking 20-22 days. Arranged a UPS label, sent the item the same day on 24 April. Didn’t realise it gets sent to Nikon and then onto a service centre. Don’t see the point, it just makes everything longer. Anyway apparently they couldn’t find the problem and couldn’t see anything wrong. They returned my camera without repair. I received it back today, 31 May. It took a total of 37 days from me sending it to receiving it back!! I wouldn’t be upset if it had actually been repaired. But I waited 37 days for nothing. Now I need to look into taking it back to point of purchase for repair, refund or arrange a chargeback for a faulty camera.

As a manufacturer of photography equipment they are good which is the reason for 2 stars, otherwise they are useless. I have made two orders with them and both failed. First one was in December 2022 for a remote which was in stock on their site. I made an order and everything was fine for a day or two until Nikon cancelled my order as the item I purchased was only available as part of a kit which wasn't true, they just didn't have it in stock. Then few months later I have pre-ordered a lens with Nikon under a promise that funds will be taken when it's dispatched. They debited my account and waited with dispatch for few days due to some sort of an issue. When it was dispatched, they used UPS with no ability to redirect the parcel, and even then, the parcel was delayed with no explanation which meant that I had family members sat at home for no real reason, waiting for a parcel that wasn't coming. The next day I got a notification of a failed delivery with tracking not even showing that the parcel has gone out for delivery on that day. It was eventually dropped off at a UPS access point miles away, which closes before I could even get home to get it. Eventually I had to ask a family member to get it for me. If that was not an option I doubt I would be even able to collect it before the deadline. Based on these experiences, Nikon is useless at fulfilling orders. They are more focused at announcing new Ambassadors on social media and responding to reviews on Trustpilot than actually providing a good service. I have reached out to their customer service team at noon and they have responded the next day. I'm not sure how much help and confidence that actually gives to anyone if they have a delicate and most of the time, expensive order on the way.

Sent my Z50 for a sensor clean to Nikon UK. Confirmation quickly received and camera returned within a week with spotless sensor. Fantastic experience and so happy to be part of the Nikon family. Thank you Nikon :) 10/10

Monarch Waterproof Binoculars. Hardly used, never dropped, then fogged up in cold weather!! Sent to Nikon under guarantee. Centre said "theyve been dropped". I queried this and had a senior service person say "I will look into this", NEVER heard back even after emailing him. So finally asked for return, "your equipment is with our forwarding/postal company". I wait afew weeks and nothing. Then when i go back into the service repair log/webpage they ask for £17 and state "repair complete", what they mean is "no repair" and postage is going to be £17. Now as £17 is 20 percent of the repair I would actually have paid for the binoculars to be repaired (if I had known) as this would have been a reasonable price but nothing was said of a return fee. The complete lack of communication, lack of trust. impersonal service has left me staggered and appalled!!! I CANNOT believe having spent £800 on a pair of binoculars that they were so nonplussed about their product and customer. As I stated to them; when a pair of bins are dropped the alignment will be out and they will have external damage indications but this fell on deaf ears. Im sorry to say I will steer well clear of Nikon products in the future as the guarantee is clearly a fallacy. APPAULING service

There is a design fault with the 10-30 lens for a Nikon J2 1 camera. The mechanism in the lens fails and does not let any light into the camera rendering the camera and lens unusable. Nikon had a limited recall period on the lens which I missed because mine wasn’t fault at the time. All they have offered is a 20%discount on a new product st list price.

I was kept fully updated and had all my questions answered.
The staff are not only knowledgeable and helpful but the convey passion and enjoyment in doing their tasks well, as customer service agents.

The customer care I received especially from Daniel Wyatt Jones was brilliant, especially when I had to send my camera back when it returned from being fixed with a totally unrelated problem. The only criticism is the length of time it took the technicians to sort out the first issue. Daniel chased up the service center at every point.

After posting a one star review for Nikon because they would not honour their lifetime warranty on the pair of stabilised binoculars I purchased, they replied to state that they do not offer lifetime warranties.
That may be the case now but i=t was not the case when I purchased the binoculars hence they have compounded their bad service by denying the facts.
A lifetime warranty on a very expensive pair of binoculars purchased about 15 year ago, and costing about £800 then, is a simple fact.
I have now sold my Nikon stuff and will never buy anything Nikon again. They should check the facts before trying to do a blank denial.

I have a D750 which is meant to be a full frame professional camera, but it took over 6 WEEKS to get it repaired - even though the repair was just an adjustment!! The fault was caused by an incompetent Nikon shutter replacement (my third shutter failure over the years)... Nikon had sent the camera back with the mirror out of position and the AF system out of spec! finally corrected....Nikon do not have repair facilities in UK since Brexit - everything has to go to Netherlands... why buy Nikon if they can't repair it in a reasonable time?

I've used the Nikon repair services on a few occasions now and the service has been excellent. Efficient pre-paid label system and using decent couriers make sending and receiving straightforward, and the repairs themselves are pretty quick - usually quicker than the estimate except during covid. My dread of how expensive the quote might be is - in my experience - short lived as I've been pleasantly surprised each time.
