The receptionist was very efficient and enjoyable to talk with. We did not have a reservation and ended up with a car within our budget in 15 min. Great services !

If it were possible, we would give zero stars.
We strongly advise against renting a car from Noleggiare.
From the moment we arrived, we were met by an extremely rude and unprofessional employee at the counter. To make matters worse, we had to wait nearly two hours before we finally received our car.
We were also told that if we wanted to collect the car 1.5 hours earlier, we would have to pay an additional €130. We found this completely unreasonable.
Instead of providing good customer service, the employee seemed determined to pressure us into paying for additional products and insurance, even though we had already booked and paid for our rental in advance.
What made the experience even worse was that we witnessed several other customers having similar experiences. We saw people being spoken to aggressively and even shouted at by staff. It was uncomfortable to watch and reinforced our impression that this is not how customers should be treated.
The entire experience was stressful and left us feeling that upselling customers was far more important than treating them with respect. It was a terrible way to start our holiday.
Our advice is simple: avoid Noleggiare and choose one of the well-established international car rental companies instead. You’ll likely receive far better customer service and a much more pleasant start to your trip.
We will never rent from Noleggiare again and cannot recommend them to anyone.
Horrible customer service! Gave us car that was in dangerous need of repair. Air tire pressure was off and blue additive ran out. We were left stranded with a car that would not move. Tow truck came to get the car but no replacement was provided. At our own expense had to take a 2.5 hr cab ride to Bari to get another car. Getting a refund for the cab fare was a nightmare. Apaulling business practices from beginning to end, dirty cars, rude staff, stay away from this company!
Whatever you do, don't go here. It is a complete fraude. We (like many others on our flight) had made a reservering through a broker (Booking.com / rentalcars) several months before our holiday. On the day of our arrival at Milano Linate our flight had a delay of 2,5 hours. We immediately cellen the Noleggiare desk (2 hours before the expected pick-up time) to tell them that we were around 3 hours late and to please keep the reserved vehicle (a stationwagon) put aside for use. According to the servicedesk employee that would not be a problemen, they would keep a vehicle available for us. At the time of arrival at the Noleggiare desk, indeed 3 hours later than plannen, the same employee told us that infortunately that in summier holiday times they could only keep the reserved car for 1 hour. They still had a car availbale, but unfortunately that was an upgrade, that would cost a 40 euro's extra per day. So for 21 days, we had to pay an additional 840 euro's (origninal cost of around 1.100). Nothing to do about it, Booking.com could only give us back the original 1.100, but all available Carson would be more expensive, exactly as the thieves of Noleggiare knew perfectly well. So in the end we just had to pay to get out of the airport. This is just an organized way to steal from people who make early reservations at interesting rates. We still have the same (segment) car, it was always there, they just added 840 euro's using the late pick up and upgrade bullshit story. At the same time exactly the same thing happened at the second desk with people who were on the same flight. Please don't go here, I went for the cheap option and I regret it. Next time I go back to Hertz, Avis or Europcar. Perhaps a bit more expensive, but not ordinary crooks.
As a group, we rented two cars through Planet Rentals, not realising they were a broker rather than the actual rental company.
The first car was collected from another rental company, and the process was swift and efficient. Unfortunately, our experience with Noleggiare at Brindisi Airport was the complete opposite.
When we arrived, there was a queue of around 30 people waiting to collect their cars. We had to stand outside in the midday heat for well over an hour and a half because the reception area could only accommodate around three customers at a time, and there were only two members of staff serving. We were told the delay was due to an internet issue, but once we eventually reached the desk, there appeared to be no problems with the computers. At no point was there any apology for the excessive wait.
Although I had booked Gold insurance through Planet Rentals, I was strongly encouraged to purchase additional cover—around €30 per day—to protect my deposit. Wanting to avoid any potential issues on my return, I reluctantly agreed to pay the extra cost.
The car itself was brand new, and apart from a very minor scuff to one alloy wheel, we had no problems throughout the rental. Anyone familiar with the roads in southern Italy will know they are often in poor condition, with numerous potholes, so I actually felt fortunate that the only damage was a light cosmetic scuff that removed some paint from the wheel. There was no structural damage or gouging to the alloy.
When returning the car, there was another significant queue, so I used the key drop box. Thankfully, my insurance covered the wheel damage, but I was surprised to read the inspection report afterwards, which classified the minor cosmetic scuff as “major damage.” Based on that assessment, I suspect they would have attempted to charge me for a complete wheel replacement had I not purchased the additional insurance. Looking at many of the other rental vehicles, it was clear that wheels with similar marks had not been replaced.
Because of the poor customer service, excessive waiting times in extreme heat, and the pressure to buy additional insurance, I would not recommend Noleggiare at Brindisi Airport. In future, I would rather book directly with one of the better-known national rental companies, as the small saving simply wasn’t worth the inconvenience or the stress
Pure scam. I had rented a car for 3 weeks via Economy Bookings with full insurance, including full waiver of the deductible. When I went to pick up the car, I was told that my Mastercard credit card was not valid. My credit card, with which I have rented many cars for years and also paid for the car booking. I was forced to take out extra insurance costing over €500, otherwise I would not be given a car. I did so under protest, as I had already paid over €800 in rental fees. Once home, I sorted everything out. I was completely within my rights. Customer service Noleggiare considers my complaint unfounded, as I took out and paid for the insurance myself. A refund procedure is now underway via the credit card company. Incidentally, the customer next to me had exactly the same experience. He had also never experienced anything like this before. It is very sad when you have to make money like this.
Company will fault you for damages that were not caused by you. Make sure you are taking lots of videos and photos to protect yourself.
Avoid these scammers. The prices seem reasonable at first but you must account for the scamming when you return the car. They go around the car with a flashlight for 15 minutes to find minute scratches that is impossible to be seen by a newly arriving tourists. They “inspectors” know exactly where the “damages” are. Before they scam you, they ask questions like “do you have insurance” and “did you take a video”, by which they make sure you are ready to be scammed. I paid 217 euro though booking.com and an additional 180 euro for their invented “scratch”.
Avoid these scamming company at all cost
After the Garibaldi train station branch had no one available to deliver my rental car at 3:30 PM (it closes at 4 PM, and nobody ever informed us, and flights and trains can be delayed), I had to rent a new car. The money I had already paid remained with the rental company that failed to deliver the car. Everything went smoothly at the new rental company until we tried to return the car. We told the lady, "Please, we're in a bit of a hurry because they only open at 8 AM and we have a flight at 8:45 AM," and the kind employee replied, "If you're in a hurry, walk." How sweet!
Do not rent from this company.
Will give you car with preexisting damages. Will give you a report stated the damages are preexisting.
Will charge you for the damages even though the reports states the damages and you provide photos of the damages on delivery.
Avoid!!!!!! This company is a scam
Hi,
I was charged quite a bit extra for a tiny scratch on the rear bumper. The guy used a high powered LED light to find it. (He should get a job in CSI)
I have only used this company once and will never use them again or will I recommend them. Any other respectful car Hire company would not charge for this as it would be considered normal to get these TINY marks while driving.
Pat.

Overall, we had a very good experience.
Car rentals in Bari are generally very expensive, often without justification. This company, however, offered much more reasonable prices. The woman at the reception was excellent—very friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. The car itself was also in great condition and met our expectations.
The only negative part of our experience was the employee in the parking area who handed over the car. Since it was our first time driving an automatic vehicle, we asked for some basic instructions. Unfortunately, he refused to provide any guidance or assistance, which was disappointing.

The car was new, clean, without any smells inside, very modern and safety. The servis was crazy in the office and in the check out area.

Maria at the desk in Venice airport was incredibly nice and so helpful to complete my process. She walked me through the process, explained everything. Im so greatfull for the help she provided.

My flight was delayed because of bad weather, I landed 3 hrs late. My car reservation was already cancelled (why the heck a company cancels a fully paid reservation?!?)
As a result all I have been offered was a full refund, but I still needed a car, which costed me EUR 1650 while my original booking was EUR 940.
rented a car from Noleggiare in Florence, Jun30 - July 3'26. when we went to pick up the car, our valid canadian drivers licenses were not adequate. We did not have an international driver's license so the Noleggiare agent insisted we needed 230euro of extra insurance. Would not rent the car without it. Hard upselling. Our family members rented from Budget in Florence and were not asked about international drivers licenses and did not have to buy any extra insurance. Complete rip off at Noleggiare. Rent from Budget!!!!
Booked an intermediate BMW 1 Series or similar through a broker. Was given a Toyota C-HR instead, which is a different category of vehicle entirely. No explanation or compensation was offered for the substitution.
At the pick-up desk, staff were aggressive and persistent in pushing additional insurance products, despite me already having adequate third-party coverage. The pressure and scare tactics about potential damage costs were unprofessional and made for an unpleasant start to the holiday.
Upon return, the car was flagged for minor paint chips on the hood — the kind of small marks caused by normal road driving and gravel, not by any fault or negligence on my part. The car was already scratched all around and I did not take a full daylight photos of the car for every single detail - only a video. The chips were found by the operator using a heavy duty light which of course nobody has when picking up the car. And in this case would have meant to photograph in superb detail 30+ pictures of all the dents on the car.
I did a video in 4k but the lighting is not good enough to show how the car was. In any case it should not even matter as it’s normal wear of the car.
This feels entirely consistent with the pattern of reviews I have since read about this company: bait-and-switch on vehicle class, aggressive upselling at the counter, and questionable damage charges on return.
I would strongly recommend choosing a more reputable rental company, even if it costs a little more upfront. I do not recommend or ever use this service in future. And I will be sure to NOT recommend this scam company to anyone.
If you’d pay 100-150% extra for their ”premium” insurance, you’d probably get that good experience some people had. But then you pay more than with a premium rental agency. Scam!
