Used this company website free service for robo calls on my landline until probably a week ago. Kept wondering why I didn’t get the usual one ring which meant their website had caught the call. Was no... See more

Nomorobo is as USELESS as FTC Do Not Call Registry! Sadly, despite using Nomorobo, their program can only block few numbers (which means peace & quiet, but only a few months). After that, somehow... See more

Useless DO NOT SIGN UP!!!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

The only reason they got one star is because I couldn't give them 0 stars. The service is so bad that I completely forgot that I had it until they charged my card for a renewal. And when I cancelled....no refund. They are as bad as the scammers they are supposed to stop.

I have free service through my landline…

I have free service through my landline and internet provider. My landline and email are deluged. As soon as Nomorobo was connected I would get either one ring, or the normal repeating ring. I have gotten perhaps 10 robocalls in two months and reported. The robocalls were constant interruptions at the most inopportune times. For the landline it is heavenly. I no longer dread incoming calls on my landline. What I had was being haunted by scammers. No precaution or action had any impact. The trade off is near perfection! ONE RING. I can see they are checking the number in their data base. With a number of poor reviews on Nomorobo in the mobile application store I opted to try a more highly rated application. It does not begin to compare with Nomorobo!!!! I have an extremely old car. You may have gotten the junk mail on your warranty is about to expire. Today after getting my 30th final warning letter, the other mobile app blocked the 1st phone call, because not being listed in contacts. It went to voice mail! My first final notice mobile phone message. Guess who is going to gain personal experience with Nomorobo mobile application?

Waste of Your Money

I have Comcast for my landline, and they are using Nomorobo for the unsolicited calls. We don't pay Nomorobo for the service.

That being said, I wouldn't pay a penny for their service. About 99% of the unwanted calls aren't filtered. In fact, we've had an increase in calls. Nomorobo is incapable of blocking spoofed numbers at this point. So all the ripped off local numbers are just blasting away ALL DAY. I've filed report after report (with some numbers Nomorobo has already identified as being junk yet the call still isn't blocked), but there's nothing to indicate Nomorobo has even received a report, let alone working on a solution.

If you paid for this service, I'm sorry. You're better off setting your money on fire.

Not effective.

Not effective. Robocallers are now spoofing 6-digit phone numbers (452-631_) so call blocking software doesn’t catch them.

Nomorobo is a joke

Nomorobo is a joke. I have tried blocking numerous calls to my cell for months, with no results. It's as though they never received the reports. What's the point? IMO, you're better off getting a cell phone blocking app. Don't depend on them, it just doesn't work.

They can’t stop spam texts that come…

They can’t stop spam texts that come everyday from different numbers.
Those are the most annoying texts.
I even filtered the unknown call list in messages and they spammers can easily go around that feature.
I am canceling since this service sucks.

DON'T DO IT!!

DON'T DO IT!!! I signed up for it yesterday through Cox's website and was so excited to stop getting scam calls. Not only have they not blocked any calls but now scammers have spoofed our home phone number and have called five times since I signed up with Nomorobo.

I does block robo calls but it also…

I does block robo calls but it also blocks calls that are not robo calls. I use the VA for health care and it will not allow the VA calls to come through. When the VA calls it is someone at the VA trying to schedule an appointment. I cannot miss these calls. I have contacted Nomorobo support and they have not offered any solution to the problem. I have deactivated Nomorobo.

The calls are blocked to an extent, but the spam text are still coming multiple times throughout the day, an I use the block feature for messages. I actually pay to have this app months now! Please fix, or I’m going to unsubscribe, find a new app to try.

Complete Crap

I was getting 6 to 10 robocalls a day from vacation scammers using auto-dialers and spoofing local numbers with VOIP.
I installed NoMoRobo on my AT&T cell and, in spite of updating their block lists daily, I continued to get 6 - 10 roboscammers with their fake vacation scam.
Needless to say, I canceled my subscription and went with AT&T's free robo block service.
Haven't had a single robocall since.

Sooooo Worthless

Even the callers that Nomorobo actually identifies as spam or robo get through to me. I have found that the ONLY way to actually block robo-callers and spammers is to activate "Do Not Disturb" on my iPhone and gMail. ALL unknown callers are sent to voicemail. EVERYONE on your contact list will get through. Put an appropriate outgoing message on your voicemail and you're all set. Most robo-callers and spammers will NEVER leave a message... And that's good.

This program is generally a waste of…

This program is generally a waste of time. We faithfully report numbers and they ignore the reports. I send e-mails to them and they fail to answer. We get constant phony calls and NMR does very little, if anything at all, to stop them. I am happy it is a free program, because otherwise I would have demanded my money back. Can I give them less than one star?

Works great on my land line

I've been using Nomorobo with my AT&T VoIP land line for about a month. True it hasn't stopped all the spam calls but pretty darn close. Using the call log for my AT&T account I calculate Nomorobo at about a 70% success rate. Ones that get through are added to my AT&T call block list (one thing NMR can't block is numbers with spoofed invalid area codes. I just add them to my block list). Both these methods combined have achieved an 80% success rate.

Nomorobo Really Really works!!

signed up for my VOIP landline Nomorobo account(it's free).
Install was not difficult but did have to pay attention.
Many calls stopped first 24 hours but I did have to report a few numbers to Nomo in the next 3 or 4 days.
Now after 20 days of Nomo I can say that the unwanted calls have all but vanished.
Nomorobo seems to really really work and it keeps the unwanted call away. Thank you Nomo!

I'd bet that Nomorobo is driving the robocalls

I'd bet that Nomorobo is responsible for the many robots calls
we've been getting. It's like the Mafia secretly sending thugs to beat and rob you daily. Then the Mafia comes round to offer you protection.
How else to explain "religious" warning about "plead the blood of Jesus" or "they'r out to get you" and "press 1". When you press the number you only get the same recorded message in the same ominous voice. I've received hundreds of identical calls from dozens of numbers. Hard to believe the government can't identify and apprehend these phone terrorists. Maybe they need to infiltrate Nomorobo.
