The worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

The worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had, and my first PayPal dispute in over 10 years of using the service.

July 9: I placed an order on the seller’s website (7 items).

July 15: I received the package and noticed 3 of the 7 items were incorrect. Notably, two well-known brand paints were replaced with the seller’s own branded versions, without prior notice or consent.

I immediately contacted the seller, stating that unless they sent the correct items, I would return the entire order.

The seller replied that the correct items were unavailable and sent a return label via email.

July 23: According to courier tracking, the return was delivered.

July 29: After following up, I received a partial refund of only €46.23 out of the €132.68 I paid, even though PayPal lists it as a "full refund".

August 5: After more follow-ups, the seller asked whether I had returned all items, nearly two weeks after they had received the package. I replied that the question was absurd, since I had clearly returned the full order. They then stated they didn’t understand the reason for the partial refund themselves. They never explained what, if anything, was supposedly missing from the return. This raises serious concerns about the seller's reliability and how they handle shipments and refunds.

August 7: I escalated the case through PayPal due to lack of resolution.

When the seller first sent a return label, seemingly willing to cooperate, I left a neutral rating, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, what followed completely invalidated any possibility of a positive or neutral review.

UK buyers beware

UK buyers beware - you will be charged ICOD (import duty) that negates the good price.

Ordered an airless paint sprayer for £311 with free delivery - was a great price. However, I was subsequently charged a further £77 by delivery company UPS for ICOD (import duty). I now see some info in the shipping link but it was not clear on checkout, nor was I aware this was a European company. I could have got it cheaper locally in the UK.

Import costs are charges that may apply when goods are shipped from one country to another. These costs are distinct from shipping fees. While shipping fees cover the transport of the parcel, import costs typically include customs duties, handling fees, and local taxes that the destination country may impose to allow goods to enter.
In this case, no VAT (Value Added Tax) was charged at the time of purchase. As a result, the customs authorities in the destination country may levy VAT and other import-related charges upon arrival. These procedures are standard for international shipments and are entirely separate from the shipping fee you paid to us.

We clearly communicate this information on our website so customers can be aware of any potential import costs. However, please note that we are not responsible for these charges, and they are not included in the amount you paid to us. These import costs are paid directly to your local customs or government authorities.

Since the UK is no longer part of the EU, it is now standard practice that UK-based customers are required to pay VAT, customs duties, and any applicable fees when importing goods from the EU. These charges are imposed
and collected by the UK government and customs, and unfortunately, we have no control or influence over them.
Whenever you place an order from the EU to the UK, these import charges will apply. They must be paid directly to the UK customs authorities once the goods arrive. We understand this can be an inconvenience, but it is a standard part of post-Brexit international trade.

Paid for product

Paid for product, not delivered, they cancelled the order and given no refund! Stopped communication! Very poor customer service, I would suggest you refund the payment before I take it further!

* Update- still no refund, just more lies from this company! I’ve given them the time limit they said and nothing! They have no intentions of refunding the money, which I knew they wudnt! it’s now been well over a month since I tried to purchase the item. Im writing this review to warn other people who are trying to purchase goods from them to not bother, u won’t receive the goods and they will keep the money u paid for it, please please 🙏 buy elsewhere

Never sent item just kept lying ups say they don't have item tracking only show lable created but not sent.avoid this seller and save disappointment. Had to open case with PayPal to resolve problems.

Ordered and paid for 3 x 1ltrs of…

Ordered and paid for 3 x 1ltrs of polish I received 3 x 250ml, emailed customer service and they said I received the right amount, it clearly states on my order form that I ordered 3 x 1ltrs. Complete rip off, this was my first and LAST order from this firm as I could have bought these items cheaper from a UK seller.

After reviewing your order and the details on our website at the time of purchase, it appears there was a technical error that incorrectly listed the product size as 1 litre, when the price and product offered were for 250ml bottles. This was not intentional, and we take full responsibility for the error. It has since been corrected on our website to prevent this from happening again.

While we understand you placed your order in good faith based on the information displayed, we’re truly sorry for the experience and inconvenience this has caused especially considering the additional cost of international shipping.

Poor customer service

Company want no responsibility when the product is faulty....and the fault has been determined by the manufacturers.
Had to pay over £60 in important taxes to UK which was only in small print and now want me to return at my own expense and then would have to pay those import taxes again.

Will definitely avoid in future

In response to your reply.
That is factually incorrect and is in fact covered by Wagner as I have spoken to them directly.
The sprayer is more than capable of spraying emulsion paint and again this has been confirmed by Wagner so this should not have been an issue and also Wagner have informed me that the issue would not have been caused by the paint anyway.
I feel it has just been every excuse to get out of taking responsibilty and I have escalated this matter above yourselves now.
Also I would like to also state that no offer has been made or in fact nobody has ever even bothered to reply to my emails for over a week.
Very poor service and then you just state that you not in UK and 1 email even stated basically Wagner Uk are not in charge so doesnt matter what they say, uou are only a supplier of Wagner products and i believe it is Wagner that actually know best about their processes and warranties best.
In my opinion again UK buyers beware.

Unfortunately, this does not qualify as a warranty case. A piston seal is not covered under warranty, especially since the replacement of the entire machine is not necessary for such an issue, as the part itself costs only €15.

Certain types of paint or working conditions can damage the machine within seconds. In some cases, damage can even occur without any paint being used. Given the material you applied, it is not surprising that the machine has become defective.

We have made you a goodwill offer to cover part of the repair costs. However, we are unable to reimburse the shipping charges.

Should you wish to make use of the goodwill offer, please let us know. We are happy to work with you to find a fair and reasonable solution.

Fast, reliable, great customer care

Super happy with the way CROP handled our order. We were extensively informed about the timing, availability, a potential discount due to the scale of our order, and then during the delivery process emails were send along each step to ensure we're on track of when things will arrive.

On top of that - customer support was phenomenal from the start and they managed to immediately resolve one small issue with one of the items. Couldn't be happier with the CROP team, I will highly recommend doing business with them to anyone!

Initially bad but fixed after the review

I have ordered several things including a professional vacuum from them. The delivery of the vacuum took really long although they advertise same day shipping, it took them more than a week to send it. Then I received the item and it's wrong. I waited 5 days to arrange a replacement but it didn't move while they refused to sent in parallel a replacement. I am very disappointed and I had to put a bad review for the service I received. Only after that the client service paid attention and since then I received an excellent service from Michael who called me multiple times to explain me the situation and inform me about the replacement status and delivery. I would have put 5 stars if that was the case from the beginning but since I had to do a bad review to get attention I cannot really give them 5 stars now. Hope that changes in the future.

Extreemly poor customer service (Not keeping promises)

I made an order for custom paint for 3 vehicles. After a couple of days since I made the order I was not recieving no track and trace, so I called. Was told I have selected to send them a part to match the paint. Okay, I said no my mistake, could you please send the paint as I am flying in a couple of days and I need the paint with me. I was given a promise I will recive it tomorrow. I gave it 2 days and called again. I was told I will not get the paint in time...and I will only recieve it after I have already left.. I got upset then they promised to send it to the address in the country I travel to... I got a mail later I will not recieve it in the place I was promised again but on the address I told them I will not be able to accept the paint... PITY Very unhelpful service which DO NOT KEEP promises. Please do better.... If I could give 0 start you deserve it..
