DO NOT USE NORTHSIFE RENTALS

Renting a van, get there and ”our van has a flat tire” så they’ll sort us another one!
Other customers come in and their ”trucks have a flat tire” aswell!
Waiting for over an hour, eventually they give us a truck that was not the one we ordered for the day!
Asked them if they can deduct some of the money because of the long wait and not even given the correct van, but no, not even a sorry for the wait!
Would recommend going to any other rental business!

We required a 12 seater van for a 95year old mother and her friends and received some excellent advise on the most suitable options from RJ which turned out to be spot on
Van was clean and comfortable and not a mine spec van

I collected the hire vehicle which was in excellent condition. The staff at Greenwood were very helpful, and I will be using them again as my preferred hire company.

We hired a Toyota hilux single cab tray top manual vehicle for 6 days while in Broome in July 2026. The car looked a bit rough but drove really well which surprised us because the daily rate was very good value, doing less than 100 kms per day. The shuttle service to & from our accommodation was excellent & friendly. The reception staff were friendly & helpful. We’ll use Northside again on our next visit to Broome.

I recently hired a car from Northside Car Rentals Kalgoorlie Office. The process was easy and the people were great to deal with. I hired the vehicle from Northside mainly because they offered a way to return the vehicle to their yard on Sunday morning as I was catching the Prospector Train on Sunday afternoon. In looking to hire a vehicle in Kalgoorlie, what I found was that all the Big 4 Car Hire Companies have taken a leaf out of the book of the Big 4 Banks and really failed to offer any Customer Service over the weekend out of normal trading hours. One company did offer to accept a vehicle return but only at the Kalgoorlie Airport and only when there would be personnel at the Airport Booking Out Vehicles. A big thank you to Northside Car Rentals for providing an excellent after hours service.

Easy pickup process, fantastic little truck with God-sending tail lift, value for money ($270 for 3 days), and most importantly, friendly service!

My wife and myself have been coming to visit our daughter and family most years for the past 10 years. We always rent from Northside Rentals as they provide us with a good vehicle and excellent service at competitive price. We have never experienced any problems or hitches with the cars or the service so have no hesitation in recommending them to all.

Easy to book online and very good rates (recommended by local family who have used them before).
Friendly staff and not much hanging around with paperwork (or maybe it’s all changed since i last hired a car)
Loved that i got the photos of the car at pick up and drop off, no having to remember if anything had changed.
Mazda cx3 was great (looked new to me) for 2 of us with luggage (boot shelf came out to allow cases to be stood up).
Would definitely use again and recommend.

One of the best car hire experiences I have ever had. Did not have any problems and when we had to change our plans due to a cyclone they were very helpful and obliging. Security deposit returned without issue. Thank you Northside Rentals.

A great place for vehicle rental. Friendly staff. The whole process from booking to collection and return is efficient and easy. I recommend the Isuzu D Max a great car for the Kimberley's.

I had to change car at the last moment. They were very helpful, ready to offer better conditions. The car worked perfectly for the whole 10 days. They also rearranged the shuttle to the airport. Very trustworthy for refunding the deposit.

Fast efficient hire process. We hired a 12 seater mini van and while it looked like it had been in a war zone it never missed a beat and did all we asked of it. Good experience, top marks.

I have been renting from Northside Greenwood for many years and have always found them helpful and professional. I would rate them as follows; (1) Price, 5 of 5 (2) Service' 4.5 of 5 and (3) Friendliness' 4 of 5. Sometimes at Greenwood they are a bit slow to answer the phone when first booking. Overall I am quite pleased and will continue to use Northside !

From the very first contact, all staff took the time to give information as required confidently. professionally and in a very friendly and welcoming manner! Nothing was too hard and all was made to ensure a very pleasant outcome that also produced competitive pricing in the hire of a small moving truck, which I also was able to twice extend the hire timeframe without any undue stress even though was at the last minute. This company is a 5 star across the board and definitely will recommend to all and be using again! Thank you all so very much at NSR!
