As a coffee nob i am as picky as Austrailian cocaine addict. So i am thrilled to say how exquiste Nofes roasters wholebeans are. Not too floral as that is over powering. Strong enough and tasty enough... See more

Delivery was fine - very quick.I am dissapointed with the coffee.Because we enjoyed the coffee when we were at the kings cross Notes I thought it would be good. For me ,it is bitter, with too much acidity,so would not reorder,

delish naturally low-caff coffee, friendly customer service when my order went to an old address by my mistake
Great coffee!
❌ Cheeky Extra Charges & Argumentative Staff Member (Notes Kings Cross) ✅ Go Drake and Morgan opposite.
Better off in Drake and Morgan, Joe and the Juice or Granary Square, where you won't be cheekily charged extra and argued with and your consumer rights won't be breached. I only went in for coffee and came out publicly humiliated, and I just wanted to know why i always get charged 48p extra in this Notes branch, and the board said 3.80 (seating in), and I keep getting charged £4.28 😕🤔 confusing!
Great coffee but awful and strange argumentative staff members, when you just ask why you are being charged extra. So, I've visited several Notes around London yet this has to be the worst for customer service, when I asked for what I'd paid for as the charge didn't add up to what was on the boards, the staff member wanted to argue, raise voice and humiliate me when all I wanted to know why I always get charged extra at this particular branch. No other.
The first time I visited I got a flat white states £3.60 (taking out) 3.80 (in) and got charged £4.28, as I waited for the toilet I checked what have I missed, I was charged 4.28 before too. 🤔 Confused I decided to ask a lady, and a man jumped in, after I mentioned extra charge I'm confused happened before, raising his voice to explain and as if he wanted to argue, and publicly humiliate me as the team looked on. Very odd behaviour...
"I don't need to tell you and all customers it's on the menu" repeatedly and that it was on receipt, I said that's fine, but I just get flat white to calm him down BUT I ask for flat white, menu is for food, I don't get menu, or 🧾 recipet, so I haven't seen, that's why I'm asking says £3.80 up there! I just want to know what the charge is for, he later showed me the bill I'd never been presented and service charge and then it made sense when he showed me, it was some service charge. However also didn't make sense... What service? To avoid arguement I was about to leave but then...
His I'm right your wrong battle started, terrible service, and what he was saying was a breach of consumer rights, and then to get rid of me, as he didn't have a leg to stand on, but if you are happy I'm happy, VERY ODD LIKE a slap in the face and ok what you want to keep you happy, and get rid of me. I just wanted to know what I was paying. Better off at DRAKE AND MORGAN opposite this branch a few doors down. I just wanted a coffee not a your wrong I'm right, silly man! I won't be coming back here.
At first the charge was not the issue for me but consumer rights, it is, every customer should be told before paying. The staff made out he didn't need to, as if to say if I told everyone I'd be here all day. Mate that's what you get paid for menu and bill or what am I being paid service charge for.
Come to think of it, I always go up to them and when I finish too with no service, so I don't understand what service charge I am I'm being charged for. A simple flat white and the lady just comes to give to me they tell me to sit. A bit cheeky and only this branch! He wanted to argue all branches do this, nope I've not experienced and wanted to question me on which one.
In particular, for me, it's the way it was handled and a sense of your wrong, and augmentative. Maybe in his country that's customer service but all I wanted to know was what I'd paid for. And not an argument, him on repeat that he shouldn't have to tell customers.
I didn't want to argue, no point, but actually consumer rights wise I'm allowed to ask and I could be presented with receipt and menu then. Even just for coffee!
He said Canary Wharf branch do the same, no they don't actually, the service is great and they are polite, discreet and 48p service charge for an argument no thanks!
I would have let it go but he was just rude, odd, and offered several stamps or discretionary service charge money back, I thought I'd take it as that experience was horrible, just when I went for a peaceful coffee, ruined my afternoon and there was no need for it, it could have handled better!
Customers need to be told what they are paying for and not abused if we ask as the prices on the board don't add up, £3.80 was in. Then what's service charge, just principal and cheeky.
All he had to do was tell me nicely first time and that's all I needed to know I would have been on my way!
I don't mind paying good money for a coffee but this was bad service! Making notes look bad and I rather go Drake and Morgan opposite this branch.
And for this guy, what goes around comes around, and people like this need more training and not customer facing ruining coffee shops making notes look bad, and I prefer to go to alternatives now! No Notes if they hire people like this! My clients and me will be going elsewhere with better service.

Very good coffee and speedy service
Very good coffee, speedy shipping and good pricing on the larger formats.
I really like the beans from Notes, I’ve tried many of them via a subscription and now I buy kilo bags of them as they provide good value for the amount we drink in my household.
Definitely recommended.
Horrendous customer service
I wrote a review about my experience at the Kings Cross shop. Notes reached out offering to help put it right by asking me to email them. I have done this on 2 separate occasions now and have had zero contact back from them. Why bother reaching out to a customer who had a poor experience offering to put things right to then not follow up on that? Bizarre and really poor customer service.

Absolutely no stars from me in here
Absolutely no stars from me in here , at Canary Wharf ! My friends special birthday 🥳 asked for 4 porn star Martin cocktails , bought them over they was shocking ! Half filled no Prosecco in the little Shot glass Sugar paper fruit on top when I questioned did we have the right cocktail ,as they didn’t look right staff said , oh there cocktails out the bottle !!! If your charging £12.00 for a cocktail in your coffee shop at least have the decency to say there out the bottle as went over to the ivy restaurant and there cocktails are £11.25 each and the nuts ! When I went to pay £6.00 service charge aswell , which I never paid !! Absolutely shocking . Will not be returning in here ! If you order a cocktail ask beforehand if there out the bottle which you can buy in Tesco for £9.00 ! 🤬
