I ordered a sofa from Novia Furniture (Lakeside branch) and was told delivery would take 4–5 weeks. After 5 weeks, I received a message confirming delivery, but it never arrived. I took a day off work for it.

When I contacted the store, they said the message was sent automatically and there was no delivery scheduled. Later I was told the delay could be up to 8–10 weeks. When I asked for a refund, they initially said 30% would be deducted. After several calls, I eventually received my full refund.

What concerns me most is that after refunding me, the company publicly commented saying they couldn’t find any order under my name — which is clearly untrue. My review was later removed from Trustpilot, even though this was a genuine experience.

I hope this helps others make informed decisions.

BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.Novia Furniture has the most incompetent customer service and operations department.My Bed was in poor quality when delivered, and while installation they damaged multiple parts. It took them over 5 months to fix this (it's still not fixed) every time they came, they got either the wrong parts, didn't know what they had to fix so were unprepared, or simply don't show up when they tell you they will. I have had to take multiple days of holiday to accommodate them, only for them to leave without fixing anything.My Sofa is the wrong colour because in the store they wrote the wrong code, which you can't verify with the invoice cause it doesn't have a colour mentioned. They do not have any updates on when the sofa will be delivered for months. I wanted to cancel my order, but they said they already started making it. Few months later when I ask for an update, they said they just started making it. Few weeks later when I ask where it is, they say it's arriving in the city today. Then no updates for a month. They promised a date and failed to deliver because customer service didn't ask if the sofa needed to be disassembled . The sofa finally reached me 1 month late, in the wrong colour. When I raised the issue, they said I could either accept the wrong colour or they will have to order a new unit which would take another 5 months.Ersin (head of thier operations department) is extremely infuriating to talk to and lies. They will blame you for all thier mistakes. They never reply to emails, they never call when they say they will, no one picks up if you call their customer service line. You will think you've been scammed. They keep saying that they have no information about when the couch will be delivered, even though they are the only ones who can know. They will make you sign sketchy paperwork that means you cannot do anything for them making mistakes and delays.Thier salesman are good at selling, but you won't get what you want and you will never know when you will get it.Buy from elsewhere.

Edit: the company has responded saying they fixed my issues. They asked me to close the issues without trying to fix it . After multiple calls over multiple months They did not compensate me for the wrong colour of the couch. They were supposed to come to try to fix my bed 4 times. And for months failed to do so.
You do not want to deal with Thier poor service.

I’d like to make everyone aware of this company they are very dodgy. They are thieves, if you ever make a mistake of entering the shop in Lakeside. They will take your money and they will never deliver the goods, so just be very aware of this company. They are thieves.

very helpful staff, informative and competent, great product knowledge. Not pushy left us alone to make our own decisions, not like other furniture stores where you are almost stalked by staff.

I enjoy the punctuality and how professional they were. During the decor, they gave their honest opinions which helped decorate the living room well. I’d recommend them 100%. Excellent and quality service from Ersin and Cagdas. They were the best guys ever and I’d be recommending them.

We recently purchased a set of sofas from Novia in the Brent Cross retail park, and had such a great experience. My partner and I actually went in right at closing time, but Hasib was incredibly patient with us. He didn’t rush us at all and took his time to explain everything clearly and complete all the paperwork, even though it was past closing time. His professionalism and kindness made the whole process stress-free, and we left feeling really well looked after. He was very warm and friendly and answered any questions we had. Excellent customer service from Hasib. Thank you!

Scammers. Do not purchase anything from any of their stores. You either won't receive anything, or you will get sent a defective product like me. Tried to email and call their customer support team hundreds of times, they don't even pick up the phone. Tried to call the sales team, I just got a rude response from a man who belittled me, and said "you must be emailing the wrong email address or calling the wrong number for customer support". When I told him the email address and phone number, he kept repeating "I don't know why they are not responding to you". Useless. They are absolute liars and scammers, which you can see from the hundreds of negative reviews. I have filed a claim with the small claims court in response. The business owner apparently doesn't respond to customers either, nor does he take any action in hiring a customer support team who actually responds to customers. They also have removed my review from Google and on here so I'm posting it again.

Yes you won't find me under the name Asia Begum because it's under my husbands Saleh Ahmed. Till today no refund after paying them £3700. Ridiculous company full of lies. See you at court!!!

Best deals ever! This time I bought ex-display products from Novia Furniture Lakeside and I couldn’t be more happier. The quality is fantastic and the prices are unbelievable for the quality they provide. Their products are so unique and stylish. This was my third visit to Novia Furniture Lakeside ,Best service I have ever experienced , and once again, the experience was outstanding. Elif and Andreea, the store manager, provided exceptional assistance in helping me choose the right colour combinations and ensuring everything complemented my home beautifully. I returned to purchase a dining table from the display, and the quality is excellent for such a reasonable price. They also went above and beyond to help me pair the table with matching chairs, dedicating so much time and effort to make sure everything was perfect. I usually hesitate to buy furniture online, but Hasib Novia Furniture exceeded my expectations. The materials feel premium, and the attention to detail is clear. I ordered a media console, and it’s both functional and beautiful. I’ll definitely be back for more!

All the staff at Novia Brent Cross are a pleasure to work with.Nothing was too much trouble. I needed to give my decorators the exact colour of the sofa. I called the store and they were so helpful and immediately offered to give me a cushion in the exact fabric so I could get it matched. The furniture is very stylish and is supplied at a very good price. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends.
