AVOID
I strongly advise anyone considering using Nustone to avoid. After an extremely frustrating 3 months process awaiting a refund for slabs that they said were in stock and never came we have finally received the refund - but only after numerous calls, emails and weeks of waiting. Their communication was poor, and they did not respect the timeline. save yourself the stress and avoid this company at all costs.

Item arrive damaged
Item arrive damaged, due to work commitments I was unable to open the pallet until a few weeks after delivery. 1 slab smashed another 4 slabs badly chipped on the face. Used them due to there reviews on social media, but my local supply is far better with customer satisfaction. Never again poor company

2 months with no stone and no refund
2 months with no stone and no refund. Nustone were quick at answering the phone and emails - otherwise I'd only give one star. I paid for two packs of sandstone on 15th December. I chased for a delivery date but none was forthcoming. (They eventually said there was a problem with the stock in their yard and more was arriving by ship.) By 2nd January I was still chasing and the builder couldn't wait any longer, so I arranged to cancel the order for a refund. Further weeks of chasing followed - they said they had trouble with their payment system but I even gave my bank details. The refund finally arrived on 20th February. And instead of any financial compensation they only offered a sealing or cleaning product, neither of which I need.

The refund was processed as soon as the internal payment system issue was sorted. We also understand that the accessories offered as a gesture of goodwill were not helpful in your situation.

Don't trust the 5-10 day delivery.
We've used Nustone twice. First time was fine. Second time, for two pallets of slabs, we couldn't get a confirmation of delivery date only "you're still within our 5 - 10 workings days". It turned out the slabs were still on a ship in the Thames estuary and couldn't be delivered by when our contractor's needed them. We cancelled the order on 14 Jan 2026 and received an email confirming this and that our money would be refunded. It was finally refunded on 13 Feb after many phone calls in which I was told they'd check with accounts and get back to me. They never did. The refund appeared the day after I lodged a complaint with Barclaycard. Check the other reviews - ours was not a one-off experience.
1 March '26 - after Nustone's response. They are very creative in their account. On 14 Jan I had an email from them confirming order cancellation and that a refund would follow. About 10 days later I had a call to say the slabs were in and did I want them - so obviously they'd had no intention to refund at that point. We all know that a merchant can process a refund quickly if they want. Eventually, after many 'phone calls, I did raise a complaint with Barclaycard and, coincidence or not, the refund appeared in less than 48 hours. In this era of Trustpilot etc, one has to wonder who at Nustone is dim enough to think that delaying a refund is good for business. As I said above, this is not a one-off, just scroll through the other reviews.

At the time of purchase, the order remained within our advertised delivery timeframe. The delay was due to stock replenishment being in transit, which unfortunately meant we were unable to provide a confirmed delivery date earlier. As soon as the shipment arrived and the stock became available, we contacted you to arrange delivery; however, by that stage you had understandably made alternative arrangements.
With regard to the refund, this was processed from our side, and we did not receive any notification from your bank. While we appreciate it may have felt delayed, we proactively notified you once the refund had been processed.
We take all customer feedback seriously and continually review our processes to improve stock visibility and communication.

Great slabs and excellent service.
We ordered sawn mint indian sandstone slabs (900 x 600) for a customer. They were very pleased with the slabs.

Scammed
As quite a few people on here we ordered our paving from these people, only to be told items were out of stock & they had know idea of when they might become available, so requested a refund, had all the excuse under the sun so now having to take legal action against them. Please steer clear, use either Stone Traders of Woking or Universal paving.

Awful company to deal with
Awful company to deal with - ordered some in stock paving slabs back in Aug 25 to be advised they where not in stock and after some deliberation advised they wouldn’t be in stock for some time, requested refund as work couldn’t wait and here we are in Jan 26 and I am still having to chase my refund. Constantly told “it’s been referred to accounts” or “our system was updated” a customer shouldn’t haven’t to wait 5 months for a refund it’s unacceptable. Tried to resolve this a number of times but to no avail so will be claiming money through small claims court or credit card company.
Having seen the other reviews it is looking like this is their standard behaviour unfortunately.
