I agree. Do not order any thing from this company. The quality is very poor, it's hit or miss ordering the right size, AND the return policy is subject to a 9 restock fee and the item must be returned 30 days from the ORDER DATE. So, you have less than 30 days to see if you can wear it. I used to shop here often when there was a store located in my town. It's not work throwing money out the window to continue to do business with them.

This company has gone to the gutter. I returned items, and it has been over a month and I still have received my refund. I was told my return was sitting in the warehouse, but refund has not been processed. When asked to speak with a manager I was told they will take my number and have someone call me back. What the mess. NYC has lost another customer. This company use to be decent, now it’s the worst. Do not spend your money here because if you have to return something, you will not get your money back. Seems like legal action needs to be taken.

Do not order from these people sent the items back and called numerous of times same response wait for warehouse to update . As of today 3/7/2023 I contacted my bank to dispute never again will I order from New York & Company.

I didn’t get my refund either!! They are thieves and just take money from people! Don’t buy anything from them! This is real thing, I would never thought about this company that they are scammers. I saw their stores in malls (couple years ago), and even bought some clothes there, so I did not check reviews on web like I usually do when I buy something from internet!! But no they’re different now. You order something, and when it doesn’t fit, you send it back, and you would never see your money $$ back! I contacted their customer service couple of times, and they always say same excuses why I didn’t receive my $$ back! They read scripts and always say the same sentences to you!! We need to come together, take an action and file lawsuit against them!

I complained four times for missing items from July 2022, but they didn't resolve. Please close your business! Terrible services! Don't buy anything from them.

Do not order from here. I did receive my one item in fairly decent time, however it was way too large and returned it four days after receiving it. They confirmed it being scanned Jan 18, six weeks later and no refund. Always different excuse, delay in warehouse, equipment not working, lots of refunds to go through. I have escalated claim with payment company I used. Amazing on purchase how it took minutes to take my money, different story when have to refund it!

I see I am not the only one up here to talk about their horrible customer service and the way they handle their affairs. I have been waiting for my return money money for almost a month. Today I speak to a rep, the third one at that, and she tells me that she can not tell me when my refund will be processed. My items were received into their warehouse 2/3/23, and today is 2/26/23. Mind you, I spoke to two representatives prior to this one who informed me that I would recieve my refund by Friday 2/24, nothing yet. The representative explained to me that I should not worry, it is coming for sure. Well it should have already been in my acct. weeks ago. I am highly dissatisfied with this company's lack of integrity, compassion, and loyalty to their customers. They had no problem taking my $, so what is the issue returning it. The warehouse obviously needs more help. This company needs to just shut down completely. Never again.

This is the worse customer service experience I have ever had. I returned something a month ago and it was received literally more than a month ago by them and they still have not refunded me my money. I asked if they give credit or pay back for a return and they were going to give me 10% off my next order and free shipping?! Get the heck out of here- I am never going to order for them, I hope they go out of business after I get my money back that’s how horrible they are!!!!!

I ordered 4 items on sale. 1 item I was emailed that they would not be able to fill, and I would not be charged for. The other 3 came in standard shipping time (6 days) with no issues. I read all these terrible reviews and got worried but I personally had a good experience and would shop this site again in the future.

Do NOT order from this company. I have been waiting for my shipment since Nov to only be told today that would not be crediting my card for the FIVE sweaters I bought. Was a long time fan of this company but no longer.

DONT order from here! if you return an item it takes LONG, its been16 business days that the order was returned and still waiting. Unacceptable

AWFUL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!! NEVER GOT REFUND JUST EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I have been a long time customer but it's really upsetting when half your order is constantly canceled.

Love the clothing. They sent defective item (shoes). Charged me $9.95 shipping to return an item I already paid $7.95 to get the items shipped to me the first time. Complete rip-off!!! To top it off, there is a language barrier with their customer service representives who decided to tell me to "be quiet and listen" when I was trying to gain clarification on how to return a defective item. Shop online with caution or go into a store to avoid confusion with their online department.

Love their clothing, but since all store are closed and the only way to order is online, I won’t be ordering again. I ordered some pants and they are too big. After paying shipping and paying to return them, I would be out somewhere around $15, then to exchange for another size, another $9.95 shipping. I won’t be buying from them again until they have an actual brick and mortar store I can walk into!

New York and Company has highly disappointed! I ordered an item and was sent the wrong item. I returned it and it was received by NYC on December 19, 2022. It is now January 14, 2023 and still no refund credit. I've emailed them a couple of times and still no refund. What a terrible experience!

I was hesitant to order from them due to all the reviews about slow shipping and bad customer service. Decided to chance it and see what happens. I received my order within 4 days of ordering! And the quality of the items was excellent for the price. I am very pleased with my order and I will be ordering more items in the future!

I’ve been a NY&Co Closet member for half a year, not my first clothing rental company. I was happy with the clothes and selections. The turn around time for another package was slower than others. However, the company decided to change warehouses without informing that there would be a delay in my shipment. I waited for almost a month before I called to inquire. Very disappointed. I have requested to cancel several times and they have not confirmed if I’m no longer going to be charged

I'm a first-time buyer, and I ordered a dress from this store. After waiting for about a week of its 'processing' I saw that it said the dress was suddenly out of stock despite me buying it while it was still in stock. I wish they were honest about this before I purchased from this store.
