As a retiree I worried about my drinking. I read about Naltrexone and wanted to try it. I am a retired physician and well known in my local area. I was a bit embarrassed to ask my doctor for a prescription and didn't want to get involved with a whole Alcohol Treatment program.. Oar Health has been wonderfully private and very supportive from the outset. I found taking it daily works best for me, though when I took it only before I planned to drink socially, it reduced my desire to over indulge. Taking it daily, I haven't had a drink in 15 months and that abstinence has been relatively easy. This medication really works.

I really can say that this product works for me. I'm drinking less and I love it. I can go 2 or 3 days without drinking and that is making a huge difference in my life. Thanks Oar.

It’s been absolutely amazing, very minimal side effects the first couple days. I was a habitual drinker, every day when I got off work I would have 3 to 4 drinks for the last 20 years. Since I started or Orr a little over two weeks ago I have zero cravings. Honestly, it doesn’t even sound appealing to me to have a drink. I forgot how good water taste at night. The program works, you just have to believe in it and try it. Thank you.

This stuff works. I was drinking like it was my job. At least 30 drinks per week. It took about 1month for the effects to set in fully but now I have 1 drink after work on weekdays and no more than 2 or 3 each day on weekends. I’m down to a healthier consumption of 10-11 drinks per week and I’m very happy with my progress.

Everything is great. I went from daily bottles of wine to none in 8 months.

My craving to drink has been dramatically reduced. I still have a few drinks per week, but I’m able to control the urge to have more.

Every day I thank God I reached out to Oar Health. My drinking was getting out of hand and Oar helped me to get off of it altogether. The first two weeks I gradually reduced my consumption to deal with the shakes until I could get off it. I’m now 36 days sober any feeling great.

I only had one pill for $350. It stopped me drinking for six hours as it put me to sleep for two hours and gave me a severe stomach ache for four hours then it got me all constipated for two days requiring a double shot of XLax they should at least sell it for a month supply or offer a trial not three months worth and then it’s challenging to cancel your prescription from renewing. This was a waste of money and a horrible experience.

This medication really works. It has quiet my brain from thinking or wanting to drink. I am so blessed to have found something that it’s giving me back my peace of mind. It did take a full month and taking the medication daily to start feeling the full effect. I did have moderate side effects that lasted also about a month, but with the guidance of the Oarhealth team, I refused to give up. The team made me feel confidant that all I needed was patience and minor adjustments. The benefits have been incredible, I have gone from 20 to 18 drinks a week to 1 a week. I feel present, happy and eager to see what the future brings. My depression is gone and I can focus on enjoying my life again 😌

My experience with Oar health has been quite positive overall. It was easy to get the Naltrexone prescription and I pretty much started on it right away. First dose was rough as I did fill nauseated but once I reduced dose to half first few days it was fine and after a week I was on 1 pill a day. I would recommend having with food. My alcohol cravings have definitely reduced and I don't "binge" as I did previously. Highly recommend if you want to get your life back in control and feel better overall.
