Had a very disappointing experience…

Had a very disappointing experience with Odido customer care .Last month I called Odido (27 min call) to address my concern regarding the absence of network at my workplace. Durng the call the technical support team confirmed the issue and told me I could cancel my contract free of charge .
The cancellation wasn’t completed because my wife (account holder) was abroad and couldn’t verify her details.
This month, I reached out again to verify my wife’s details, however, multiple agents said they can’t find the previous case and kept transferring the call from one to other, but finally one confirmed it exists — only the “free cancellation” note is missing.
And I was asked to send signal test screenshots from a different phone, which I did the next day, and called again and now I’m told to wait again until 21 Nov so that they get time to fix something.
I’m disappointed that the verbal agreement was not honoured and that the issue keeps getting delayed.
I will never recommend odido to anyone. I Have already cancelled my wifes contract . And have also cancelled mine for a charge of around 75 euros.
I would suggest Odido not to look always from their perspective but also from customer’s perspective.

No support

We went to MediaMarket as always to extend our contract and buy a new telephone. We got no support from you and had to pay full amount for the phone. Extremely disappointed.

The last couple of months my smart…

The last couple of months my smart watch doesn't have network connection for YouTube music anymore, while I am in the gym.. 3 years worked and stop. So I can't wait until my contract gonna end and I can switch provider..

No internet FOR MONTHS

I moved a few weeks ago (September 15) and to this day I still don’t have any internet from Odido! (FYI: it’s now October 20)

After eight moves, I know perfectly well how to report a change of address to a provider. With Odido, everything went wrong. First, the move wasn’t processed because we also had to renew our contract at the same time. Apparently, that’s not possible. Eventually, we thought it had been handled correctly over the phone, but after four calls and two weeks, the move was only then properly registered. Everything took forever.

After a while, my boyfriend called again because we still didn’t have internet. Turns out we didn’t have a fiber connection in our home, so KPN had to come by. They were quick, so the cable was installed within a week. In the meantime, Odido sent us a “plug and play” modem so we could have temporary Wi-Fi. Then the Odido technician came to install the fiber connection, and that same day it stopped working. Turns out our fiber line wasn’t functioning.

My boyfriend called Odido again and got a very rude employee on the phone who not only blamed us but also refused to offer any compensation. By that time, both the fiber connection *and* the plug and play modem had already been charged to our account. They said KPN would send a technician again and that this time it had real priority (they promised within 24–48 hours). Three days later, after calling again, it turned out KPN didn’t even know about the request! And we returned the plug and play modem, because otherwise we’d have to pay cancellation fees (according to that same rude employee).

It’s now been two weeks since the so-called “installation,” and we still don’t even have an appointment to get it repaired. We’ve called Odido at least 30 times and haven’t received any compensation. On top of that, everything in our house that relies on Wi-Fi—like the solar panels, thermostat, and lights—doesn’t work, which lowers our living comfort and prevents us from saving energy and money.

It’s disgraceful how we’ve been treated by Odido’s employees and how many promises have been broken. We’re switching providers as soon as possible. Do **not** become a customer here!

I’ve been an Odido customer for a…

I’ve been an Odido customer for a while, and since the beginning they’ve been charging me extra costs for calls from the Netherlands to Poland, even though their website clearly says “Unlimited calls/SMS in NL + EU.”

Every month they keep adding hidden charges, and when I contacted them, they only offered a small refund of €30 — even though I’ve been overcharged for a long time.

I already submitted an official complaint to ConsuWijzer (ACM) because this is misleading and unfair treatment of EU customers.

Be careful — what Odido advertises as “EU calls included” is not true. They’re charging for calls within the EU, and many people have the same problem.

I strongly recommend checking your bills carefully and avoiding this provider.

ACM is now investigating my case

New iPhone preorder canceled due to Odido’s internal mistake

On 16 October 2025, I was expecting my preordered and paid iPhone 17 Pro. The delivery driver from AMP Groep refused to hand over the device due to an extra letter on my Initials. I immediately contacted Odido’s customer support and was routed between several agents before the issue was confirmed and corrected. Multiple representatives even acknowledged the initial error and expressed apologies on behalf of Odido as I have been a customer for a few years now having also an internet contract at under the same name. For the record I was a previous T‑Mobile customer for years, keeping the same number and contract even after the rebranding to Odido. My customer details remained unchanged throughout this transition.
Despite that, the delivery company from Odido (AMP Groep) later informed me that the phone would be returned to Odido, and when I called Odido again, they said my order was now cancelled, meaning I would need to reorder and wait another 4 weeks. One agent even suggested ordering again through an “affinity site” and paying a second time to get it faster – an absurd “solution” for a mistake that was never mine.
Having stayed with T‑Mobile (now Odido) for years, this experience feels like a complete betrayal of the customer trust that once defined the brand. I expected better communication and accountability. Instead, I’ve been left without my phone, forced into endless phone calls, and told to start the process all over again.
Odido needs to take responsibility for errors made by both their system and AMP Groep.
Avoiding Odido would save you the same frustration I experienced — hours wasted on calls, being routed between agents, and no clear outcome. PS. I have been trying to send additional info as per Odidos request and the system doesn’t allow me to do so. In addition per my review, I have contacted Odido customer service line via phone and email numerous times failing to provide any support only confirming that I need to reorder the phone (while the money that I have paid are still not refunded - this can take up to two weeks)

Poor product and service

We have called Odido seven times trying to resolve an invoice we should not be paying. Their customer service agents keep blaming each other, and every time we hang up, they ask us to leave a positive review — despite nothing being solved. We are extremely dissatisfied, both with the internet service and the overall customer support. One representative even admitted that they know their router is poor, yet they continue to offer it to customers, suggesting an additional “internet enhancer box” as a fix. Truly disappointing experience — no words other than frustration and disappointment for this company.

Don't! Pay for nothing

internet its not working. Since I got the "service" in January up until now (october), there has always been problems. Can't do a simple teams call without getting frozen. Customer service is really poor. Appart of switching off and on the router, no more. They even acknowledge that the router I use its not a good one but they dont proactively send a new one. Very frustrating to work like this at home. Finally, I will be switching at the end of the month to another service provider. I dont recommend anyone to pay for non existing wifi.

They now reply I can contact them. I already did via chat, via phone and I went to the shop. They could not help then, what will it change to contact you another time?? Appart of keep wasting my time and getting frustrated? Ending my contract in 10 days, you had 9 months to fix it on the first place. Also, the new service provider is even cheaper

1. WHY DO YOU KEEP WITHDRAWING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT WHEN MY SUBSCRIPTION ENDED MONTHS AGO?!

Customer (dis)service - It took Odido 2-weeks to not do what Ziggo did in 20 minutes: Give me working internet in my flat. As the problem got worse Odido's customer service got more rude. My favourite of the seven phone calls I had with them was the one where a CS rep said they "couldn't see why they needed to give me compensation" as I'd been only waiting 10-day for my internet to be installed, until I said that I'd already had a failed installation. He also told me what had been said to me on previous phone calls by their team was wrong. In the end I cancelled my contract without compensation and took my business elsewhere.
