I wish I could give it 1 star. A damaged hoverboard arrived for my daughter’s Christmas gift with no personalisation. My partner tried to call but they said they don’t man phones as it’s too busy. After he emailed them once they blocked his email. I emailed and they have done the same. Asked for more info then blocked our emails so we have no way of getting a replacement or a refund. Will escalate

Wow ws are so thrilled, I had my worries after reading some reviews, however, after emailing with Alex he helped alleviate my worries. The hoverboard looks amazing and works perfectly, my son has not stopped riding it since he got it, the kart looks so good and works perfectly with the board. We couldn't be happier
Hoverboard and kart
This is the 3rd board and kart I have bought not opened yet as it is for Xmas. Bought the other two last year and they are still going strong. Good quality and well made. I am sure this one will be the same

Excellent customer service responds immediately. Never had any problems with the 2 hoverboards they are amazing had for 2 year now ,brilliant. Only needed ittle velcro straps replacing due to wear. I would highly recommend buying from this company. I was worried ordering from the Internet but no need to worry its legitimate and very good hoverboards everyone asks where we got them when they see the kids on them .
Sent faulty product and they won't refund - avoid
I bought a hoverboard and go kart attachment for my son's birthday but it wouldn't calibrate properly so Official Hoverboard were quick to reply to emails and initally helpful although the process of returning and "repairing" was lengthy. When it did come back it still didn't work so, assuming the best of the company, I thought I'd wait until someone came over who knew about hoveboards in case I was being stupid. The repair definitely didn't work and my son has not used his hoveboard other than to check if it is working which it doesn't. When I contacted Official Hoverboard about this they said I was too long after purchase time to do anything about it, sent me some instructions on how to recalibrate myself and then blocked my email so I can no longer contact them - they don't have a manned phone line. It goes against my statutory rights that I can't return a faulty product that has never worked and they have pocketed the money. I'm posting this review to try to resolve this issue as the company have blocked me from contacting after one email.

Awful. I have sent over 30 emails to try and get a refund after the product is of such poor quality yet they try and fob you off. Avoid at all costs.
I ordered an electric scooter in time…
I ordered an electric scooter in time for my sons birthday which was the 9th... it didn't turn up and said it was 'refused' when they tried to deliver..I pointed out that nobody had come to my house and my cctv can show that. My son is 8 and was devastated obvs..I went online and booked a redelivery for the 11th, that was confirmed. It also said it would try automatically the next day..it didn't come on either days! I contacted them via email..which they said they would chase it up..a week went by and I got in touch again and they said it had been shipped back to them due to it having a wrong post code.. another week went by and they finally got it back and shipped it back out to me which I got it the next day.
The thing that is wrong with that is they shouldn't of waited for it to come back they should of shipped me one out straight away and waited for the other to come back, firstly knowing it was my sons bday gift and knowing the other was confirmed in transit back to them there was no risk for them.
Anyway I have it now and the problem is its very clear to see its been battered about being sent back and forth, the reflector red stickers have come off (I've stuck them back on but are no longer very sticky) the front bar is scuffed, the box was damaged and the red rubber part at the front that holds the wire in was hanging out!
They didn't want to offer any compensation for my sons ruined birthday infact quite the opposite they made him wait while it came back! And now this is what I gave spent my money on!

This company is absolutely incredible! I made an error on the delivery and was worried the hoverboard wouldn’t arrive in time for my son’s birthday. I sent an email and received an almost immediate response saying they had packed and sent it. I had offered to pay more and instead they said ‘I hope your son has the best birthday’ - I wish all companies were like you. I really do. Thank you so much and by the way, my son loved his hoverboard.

Sorry it has taken me a while to review. I purchased 2x hoverboards at Christmas for my kids. I was hesitant to order from this company due to the bad reviews I kept seeing. My first issue was the bag was ripped when first arriving and they quickly sent me another. I didn’t review as I wanted to make sure the boards worked after its first use as kept seeing people saying they didn’t work for long. Well it’s now been 7 months my kids use them a lot playing out almost daily. One of my sons boards stopped working properly it kept shaking him off the board, I contacted the company to see what they mentioned if they’d be able to help I honestly didn’t expect them too due to the reviews online but to my surprise they was absolutely amazing I paid £15 to send the item to them and they fixed the board ! Can’t complain at that! It has worked great since. My kids are very happy with them. I have stopped using the karts on them though as I felt cars couldn’t see them properly when people were reversing on their driveways as my youngest has had a few near misses.
Possible scam? Have not received order.
Ordered nearly a month ago and have yet to receive it. My son’s birthday was yesterday, he didn’t get his gift. So disappointing. Have sent countless emails but am not getting replies. Am starting to think it’s a scam.
Edit: nearly 6 weeks later, have still not received our hoverboard- no communication from official hoverboard whatsoever.
Edit: We finally received the hoverboard (June 30). While it works well and my son loves it, we did not receive the hoverkart we ordered at the same time. We are hoping it won’t be another 7 week wait for that.

contacted customer services and they want a video of it on charge. totally deflated the fact it doesn't hold charge.
disappointed is a understatement. should be a fun item which it is nearly £300 for 20-30 mins. my friend has cheaper ones that last over a hour so definitely going to look into one of those instead
