Excellent Professionalism
I didn’t actually make a purchase from this company as the set I enquired about was out of stock but when I was asking them many questions about various sets they were still amazingly helpful and professional and spoke highly of another company who I ultimately ended up purchasing a set from. I was impressed with their professionalism and also their responsiveness and the company I eventually purchased a chess set of also said what an excellent company this was. I would have gladly purchased from this website if the set I looked at was in stock but it wasn’t to be on this occasion despite their amazing customer service and willingness to help despite them not gaining a sale. Great little travel set
Great little travel set. I did wonder if the 13” would be took big but actually it is perfect size for taking around. The magnetic bases are very good. Can hold board upside down and the pieces don’t fall off. Equally you wouldn’t know they are magnetic when moved around the board.

We’d like to clarify that your order was dispatched promptly and tracking details were emailed to you. According to the courier's tracking history, there were three attempted deliveries. The parcel was then held securely at the depot, awaiting your instructions for redelivery or collection.
Had you reached out to us, we would have gladly assisted you in resolving the issue quickly.

13inch magnetic chess set
I purchased the 13inch board magnetic chess set. The King is 52mm high and the board folds in half with the pieces stored in the base when not in use. The build quality is excellent, this size board and pieces is fine for general use and the price is most sensible. Very pleased with my purchase.

We ordered a beautiful Lewis Men chess set. The pieces are really nice and include the Berserker which is my favorite. Unfortunately the board was damaged in transit but the issue was dealt with very quickly by OfficialStaunton Customer Service. We received a quick response to the initial email and a resolution was organised. Couldn't be happier with the set and credit where it is due.

I’ll be returning
From the get go, my entire experience has been flawless. I enter the site, I pretty much immediately find the section, as well as selection I am looking for. I know my budget, I know the aesthetic I’m looking for. Boom, there it was, the Winchester Anegre set. Ideal for what I wanted.
I order without issue, finding no problem going through checkout.
Within days the items are with me. They’re each pristine. I open the board, I see it’s well packed, secure soft tabs over each corner. No damage to any packaging. On inspection, there was the tiniest of cracks in the side of the board. It made no difference to the playability of the board. I email, just to let them know, that the board was damaged, but must of been prior to packaging at the factory, just after QA or something, because no damage to the packaging, whatsoever.
We came to an agreement, instead of the hassle of getting the board collected, and me not seeing the biggest issue, they knocked a little something off for me.
I have to be honest, it’s no wonder this is why these guys are the best. In every sense. Amazingly beautiful products, and a customer care ethic that is second to none.
I’ll be returning.

My first "Proper" Chess set, lovely maple board, piece's look good with a nice weight to them, nice slide lid storage box, arrived well packaged in 48 hours, luckily was on sale when purchased just after Christmas. Very pleased with it.
