Took your money , failed to deliver and refused to give your money back.
Every effort to contact their customer service failed. They just refused to respond to email query.

I was struggling between 2 or 3 stars to he honest it's probably somewhere in the middle.
My first order was a shambles, missing items, emails ignored until I threatened a charge back through my bank. I eventually got a reply after 3 days stating they had loads of issues that week with deliveries and staffing issues (admin) I thought, fine, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and order the following week, after ordering I was notified of items out of stock and rather than refunding me they credited my account (rude) I didnt get the whole of the rest of the order which i did pay for and I also received someone else's bag so they obviously didn't receive their whole order either. I'm not sure where the fault lies but their delivery person doesn't check the bags properly when he's delivering because they clearly have addresses on them. They also need someone to manage their admin in a timely manor and sort out their stock levels.
I was hoping the second order would go smoothly as there are things I like about what they supply but is it worth the hassle involved 🤷🏻♀️I'm not so sure. I feel like they hold you ransom by not refunding you instead making you order again to use your credit. Shame really

Amazing products
Amazing products, I ordered some meat and other ingredients and the delivery was rapid, with each item packed with care. The meat was the best quality I have had, this will now be my go to!
Great variety and affordable
In this economy, with the cost of living crisis, Oja is one of the few retailers that's affordable. Forever grateful. They provide a convenient service to get halal meat & products difficult to source in the supermarkets, delivered to my doorstep.
Is it perfect? No. Late deliveries, no communication of what is out of stock when being delivered, having to chasing up missing items, receiving credit instead of a refund, and waiting for customer services to get back to you 2-3 days later is stressful. But these are areas that can be resolved, soon I hope!

We started using Oja for their wholesale services and so far the service has been really good!
We were initially weary of using OJA as we have been with our other suppliers for a long time and have built a strong relationship with them, but I'm pleased to say OJA have so far delivered above our expectations and we look forward to also building a long fruitful working relationship!
Still CHASING FOR MEAT. 3 DAYS ONdue for…
Goods ordered on Friday due for delivery on Sunday. Order turned up minus meat...sent an email and got two texts advising rest of order would be delivered. No delivery. Day three chasing for the order. Received a vague generic email which told me nothing about when the rest of the order would arrive or offered any explanation or email. Following three emails have been completely ignored..and of course there is no phone number. First experience was excellent so super disappointing that they have not managed to maintain the high level of service. Firm believer in supporting my community but not giving money away for free. Just want a refund now.

Love Oja but room for improvement
Really love the business and what they’re trying to do but they need to work on their stock issues.
Not only is the website full of out of stock items, they also allow you to order items that are out of stock then offer you account credit to refund you. My last three orders have included out of stock items and I’m constantly using credit to make orders. It’s getting pointless.
Apart from that I’m happy with the website but don’t make the mistake of ordering before an important party/event.

Absolute gem of a company
Absolute gem of a company! Being almost housebound it’s so nice to be able to get food delivered. The food/meat/fish is always fresh and well packaged with ice coolers to keep them cold. Prices are fantastic, not inflated and customer service is second to none. YMy all time favourite for my Caribbean foods, very highly recommended!!

This is my 4th Oja order this time for myself the others have been for him or my sister and we both like the prompt service and more importantly the items are packed like if you packed it yourself.
Ingredients are always fresh and the overall customer service even if an item is out of stock is prompt and consistent.
