Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with their orders, frequently reporting issues such as missing items, incorrect shipments, or orders not arriving at all. Customers also found the customer service unhelpful and difficult to resolve problems, often leading to frustration regarding refunds or re-shipping. Though some people were satisfied with the product quality, mentioning good fabric and lasting items, others experienced issues with durability, cheap materials, and items arriving in poor condition, including moldy or used clothing. Reviewers also had mixed opinions on pricing, with some finding it affordable while others felt it was only worthwhile during sales.

Sadly Old Navy is losing it’s shine. I remember when they first opened and the store experience was sharp. New does that and Old Navy felt hip and fashionable at affordable pricing. It really needs... See more

Generally I am pleased with the value of Old Navy products - they don't last that long but the kids are growing fast and there are always good sales. This time, however, my son has only worn his jean... See more

Worst online retailer. First, they shorted me items. When we sent back others, they said there were fewer. Complete rip off. 1 error- maybe a mistake. Now that they didn't even count the returns co... See more

Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could! Spent well over an hour searching for clothes that have no friggen plastic in them. Placed an order of 10 or so items trying to replace the polyester nightmare wardrobe I just got rid of. Placed the order and get an email from them the next day saying they suspect fraud and are canceling the order. What kind of way is that to run a business? I've never frauded anything in my life so not only was it a complete p*ss off after wasting all the time searching for cotton clothes but it was also insulting. They will never get money out of me again

No longer a customer

I have been a customer for 10 years and basically my whole wardrobe is from Old Navy. I ordered an online package did not receive it, and Old Navy refused to assist me and were very rude. I closed my account today.

Customer Loyalty Con Game

Back in the day, I bought just about 50% of my clothes at Old Navy. For various reasons, that percentage slowly became less, but I still bought a fair amount of my clothing at Old Navy. After the experience I had a couple days ago, the percentage of my clothing I will buy at Old Navy from now on is ZERO. They've changed their business model to the point where their customer loyalty program coupons are literally nothing more than a bait and switch shell game unless you jump through multiple hoops, including downloading their App onto your phone and scanning an endless series of QR codes. No thanks. I will simply spend my money at a retailer that respects its customers instead. Way to go, Old Navy Corporate!

I absolutely love Old Navy plus size…

I absolutely love Old Navy plus size clothing. The pants do run a little big, however I am ok with that and just make sure to size down. My only negative comment, the tshirts are wayyy too short. My preference is a longer top.

Overpriced or out of stock

The only time it’s worth it to shop at old navy is when they have sales, because their prices are outrageous otherwise, but what’s annoying is when you see an ad on Facebook, you click on it to look at an outfit and they’re out of stock, or they have one size left and it’s 0-3 months. But thankfully when I’ve been able to find the sizes I want, they’ve always been delivered. I always have to order online because the old navy store in my town doesn’t get the cute outfits shown in the ads.

Sizing variability ridiculous

I owned a pair of Old Navy jeans that were men’s flex 32L30W and eventually they got a large hole because of the cheap material used in manufacturing. I attempted to order the same pair online and when they arrived the size was so different from the previous pair that I thought I accidentally ordered children’s jeans. Like it wasn’t even close, it was ridiculous! And because I live overseas, they arrived to me past their 30 day window for returns. I won’t be buying anything more from them again. I’ve learned my lesson.

Discriminatory Delivery Policy: Fake "Home Delivery" and Rigid ID Bureaucracy.

Old Navy’s choice of Canada Post for 'Home Delivery' is a complete fraud. I personally witnessed the driver stick a 'Notice Card' on my door without even carrying the package, claiming I wasn't home while I was standing right there. This is a fake delivery attempt.
Because they refuse to deliver to the door, I am forced to go to a post office that operates with extreme bureaucracy. Their ID requirements are discriminatory against non-drivers. They refuse digital IDs and electronic bills, demanding physical paper documents and specific government cards that violate personal privacy.
If you do not have a physical driver's license, Canada Post makes it nearly impossible to claim your own property. Old Navy is responsible for choosing a carrier that discriminates against customers based on their ID status and fails to provide the door-to-door service we paid for. I will not shop here again until they switch to a reliable courier that actually delivers to the address provided.

I applied for an Old Navy card and…

I applied for an Old Navy card and their process has been the worst. I faxed in my formation twice and they keep telling me something is missing or last time not readable when I sent it directly from my email through my fax at work. The picture was clear as day. Then whomever was reviewing my application clearly didn't look for the dates on my bill which is crazy because it downloaded from the statements option. I got so annoyed I don't even want the card anymore. No Old Navy for me ever.

Totally done with this entire company

Totally done with this entire company. After not receiving my order, I was instructed to contact my credit card company to try and dispute the charge. Customer service was not helpful at all. I have a hard time with them being unable to do anything about a order I paid for and did not receive. They expect me to fix it myself.

Waste of time - No value service

I order hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise that was never sent. When I contacted customer service they sent me complicated directions to file a claim instead of just filing it for me. What's the purpose of customer service if they can't/won't do the work to fix their own companies screw up. The expectation that customers need to do MORE work to fix the companies mistake is backass backwards. THEN, Old Navy asked me to review my experience, the form reset before I was finished submitting it. Nothing like asking for my opinion and then canceling the ask while I was in the middle of writing it. Stop using AI for customer service, start using it to track issues with customer orders in real time. I don't shop at companies that waste my time and expect me to do more than they do to correct their mistake. I hate this company.

Old Navy is Committing Fraud

I made an online order at Old Navy in September 2025. They told me it was shipped via UPS, but UPS says they never received the package. Old Navy then told me to be patient and wait longer because it was probably not scanned in the system. After waiting longer and UPS still not receiving the package, I requested a refund. At this time, an Old Navy representative told me it was past 30 days and too late to receive a refund, even though they are the ones who told me to wait for it and they can clearly see that I never received the package. They are knowingly committing fraud.

Why Old Navy lies so they can charge you more once they get you credit ca

Old navy lies about free shipping, Once you give the your credit card they go back in your card and charge you for shipping and handling and a lot of others charges for there convenience , they are a terrible company customer service even told me once they get your card they can charge what ever they want this is unfair to the customer it is against the law for them to charge your card when you didn’t authorize the transaction they play on people, they are rude, they keep going into my account weeks after I got my order, and charging taxes 2and 3 times for the product that has already paid tax.T are horrible , discussed, mean, rude, nasty, uncooperative , Never listen, always talking over the customer. Never will I buy from them again They Suck!!!!
