Interesting study case for future ISPs... inexperienced group of grifters take over a very successful and popular ISP with a full customer base and all the opportunity you could ask for. They then proceed to run the business into the ground by maintaining a policy of radio silence when their entire infrastructure fails. It's been almost a week now. When you do manage to talk to someone about it, they have this strange habit of simply lying to you. You can see from the reply to this review that they don't know which way is up. No connection for 6 days and they're acting like it's news to them.

I have been a Customer of Olivenet/Olin for years. When I started it was horroble with no answers and long waiting time to set the wifi up. After 2 years I needed a break from the subscription was ok. To move get it up again on a new address was also pretty quick. After a year I moved again and now It's horrible again.
They promised that it would only take about 3 days after the contract was send to them. It's 16 days now! And still they can't give me any answers....not even if it takes days, weeks or months! As soon as....what day/month is that?

Olin is a great choice if you wanna recommend it to your worst enemy or that one annoying neighbor everyone hates, just recommend it and watch them lose their mind dealing with Olin constant issues with zero customer service and fixing that takes them days.

***DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY***
I have no internet for 6 days. Telling me a broken cable 5 days ago and would be fixed soon. Today telling me they had to dig a hole to fix the cable and are doing their best. This is the 3rd time this year more than 3 day's without internet and it's always a broken cable.
Look at all the reviews. Have you ever seen such terrible feedback... Since Olin took over from Olivenet it's gone from ok to awful service.

I can only advise everyone against Olin. Unfortunately, there is only Olin in La Mairena. Previously had Avatel elsewhere. Really never had any problems! With Olin for over 1 year either too slow, or only disconnections or no internet at all for several days (once almost 2 weeks). I've now had to buy a router with a SIM card because Olin doesn't work.

Still waiting for new installment after one week! We have moved apartment from one location to another location, and as we were satisfied with Olivenet we chose to move the internetline to our new apartment. This was March 12. They said it was no problem to install in the new location, and we were promised installation April 9. But the day they were supposed to come we received a message that we had to provide for a permit from the administration of the community. We arranged that, and sent it back to them signed April 10, and the respond we got was: “Perfect, I'll arrange for them to call you for the appointment.” But we still have not heard a word from the installation department, a week later! We have been on the phone with the customer service every day for a week, and each time they promise us that the installation department or the technicians will call us for an appointment. We work from home, and you can imagine what this delay costs us... We did not want to change company, but now they leave us no choice.

Automated email which went to my junk mail to send back router. I Question why they took 108 euros and they told me about there stipulation and told me even if I did send the router back I wouldn’t receive a refund..

We are still without a service since Wednesday 6th March . Only one person called me with update and that was to say she had no update. Not good enough . First day they said it was only us so technical support would come following day , no one came and when I called it was now an area issue ???

Stay far away. They sell services they can not provide. I paid for 1GB and at best received 60MB. I used a 4G router while they tried to resolve the issues; they blamed the construction of a new building, then they blamed the infrastructure in the area and where never able to resolved the issue or provide high speed Internet. They 4G router had better service than their optical service. Obviously I cancelled the contract after 5 weeks as they could not fulfill their side of the contract. They charged a cancellation fee saying that I had service but are happy to credit me for the 5 weeks of not having service. Honestly 1 star is too good for this company. Everyone I have come across who uses their service is unhappy.

I was an Olivenet client but cancelled my contract with them several months ago. Out of the blue a company I had never heard of - Olin - took money from my bank account for a service I was not getting and had not had a contract. As I have limited mobility I had to take a taxi to my bank to cancel all activity with Olin. I got a number of emails but basically as I had no contract with
Olin ignored them. Last week a further amount was taken from my account. I have rung, emailed etc but they are less than helpful. Friday 9th a friend helped me send a cancellation document which Olin say they can't open. Today - another taxi to bank to sign document again cancelling all dealings. I still have their router, but as I have explained - can't get to their branches. I suggested signing something when they pick up the router. Now my email account seems to be having some trouble. Is this customer service? I think not, and when I look at some of the other comments, am surprised this company is in business. BTW your system makes it necessary to register at least 1 star. This company does not deserve any stars.

I have been with Olivenet for over 10 years and have enjoyed excellent service. I also introduced all my clients to Olivenet. When Olin took over we were all asked to sign new contracts for 300 mgs which we all did. The service is an absolute disgrace the system is constantly down. Do they think we are all stupid and don`t know how to do speed tests - we are not getting anywhere near 300 mgs. I even had an engineer come to change a router and told me he was looking for another job. I have been to their offices in San Pedro 3 times now, they just lie. As you can imagine I have changed and my clients are in the process. Unfortunately there is no other option but 1 star is too much.

Terrible service! It seems to be down every week or so in La Alcaidesa. And when it’s down, it’s down for days at a time. Nobody answers the call when trying to ring, I would not recommend!
