Good range/prices - misleading shipping time promises
Good range of gear at good prices, but the website makes false promises about shipping times.
You can order items that say they will ship on (tomorrow). Then you can check out and it will tell you that your order will ship on (tomorrow). But then after you place the order, the "estimated ship time" is immediately a few days later. And then often it will be missed, and actually the package will be shipped in around a week.

Was apprehensive about ordering from…
Was apprehensive about ordering from another country in terms of import tax, VAT and the cost of returns abroad. However, I already owned multiple pairs of La Sportiva boots so was pretty certain on the size required and fit. It was also stated on the site that the price you see and pay all includes any import and VAT fees.
I also ordered a winter mountain rucksack and ice axe - all cheaper by quite some margin with a discount code over UK prices. For example, the boots were nearly £50 less than the cheapest UK retailer I could find. I'm all for supporting UK retailers, but with savings like this, I couldn't ignore the opportunity.
It did state on the website, at the time of ordering that all items were in stock and would be shipping within a few days. However, that wasn't the case - likely down to the volume of Black Friday orders. Ordered Friday 29th Nov, shipped on Thurs 5th Dec and UPS delivered on Mon 9th.
Due to the savings and not being in a rush for the items, I haven't rated them down. Very happy indeed.

Rethink your package sizes!
The 230€ jacket itself was squished in a tiny package.. not great! I had to straighten the jacket for some time to get it into perfect shape again. Other than that everything was fine.
