First time buyer from Olive and I am shooketh to my core.

I ordered for the first time from Olive and I was looking for a gingham skirt online, something that felt like me which feels like a never ending task when I don't like to follow the usual trends.

The skirt is so beautiful, I feel like I've skipped out of Anne of green gables, I also ordered the navy cardigan with beautiful buttons and again wow, what a flattering fit, it's so vintage inspired with wonderful fabric it's wool yet not itchy which is something I always struggle with..you can feel the quality and thr blue is stunning it almost has hints of purple to give it that slate colour.

I think I've found my brand! The skirt has pockets too which i love love love as us women need pockets too guys!

The postage was really quick even more so considering it's between chrostmas and newyear, it came well wrapped and packed with royal mail.

I may sound a bit OTT but recently I've been on a mission to find myself coming closer to 40 and this little outfit has filled me with joy!

Do you like whimsical, magical, romantic timeless skip through a meadow or fall into a book vibes? If so this skirt and cardigan is so for you
I shall be back for more I'm sure.

Volk wool trousers are mediocre

The cut is beautiful on their volk wool pants, the finish details too, BUT the fabric quality is not acceptable. In higher stress areas there's HEAVY pilling, connected to low quality fabric. I'd wished for a higher percentage of wool..

Beautiful top and rings!

Received my order quite quickly and found no faults whatsoever. I really like the drape of the blouse and look forward to layering it for the winter/spring.

Extremely poor quality and customer relations

Extremely poor customer relations. The cardigan I bought looks cheap and the quality of the stitching is poor. It is impossible to return and get a refund.
Don’t buy from them.

Please double-check your order confirmation for the brand with which you placed your order. In the unlikely event that you placed your order with us, at Olive (oliveclothing.com), please simply update your review to include your order number, or any customer services ticket number if you've contacted us, and we'll promptly resolve for you.

Please rest assured that (a) all customers are able to return an unused product for a refund for any reason or no reason, within our evaluation period, and (b) we provide comprehensive support for product faults.

If you find, as we expect, that your order was placed with a different brand with a similar name, please kindly relocate your review to the correct brand.

Thank you.

We understand that not all reviews must relate to a purchase. However, this reviewer explicitly claims to have made a purchase — but hasn’t.

We’ve tried our best to flush this out, by (a) responding to the review publicly and requesting either an order number, or a ticket number — request ignored; (b) using the ‘Request Information’ feature, to request an order reference via your own pipeline — no response; and (c) flagging the review, in an effort to have you guys surface any evidence of the reviewer ever having placed an order (a necessary condition for the premise of the review) — no response.

The experience does not match either our legal, contractual terms, and does not match any customer record on our site. We reiterate: we know a review does not necessarily have to correspond to an order, but the premise of this particular review asserts an order experience that never took place, and which the reviewer will not, and cannot, evidence. We further appreciate that the reviewer account appears valid — hence our initial claim that the review relates to an unrelated business. It does not relate to us.

Surely, at an absolute minimum, TrustPilot can insist the customer evidence an order placed with us — at oliveclothing.com — or any fallacious, malicious, or nefarious review can be publicised with impunity.

Thank you for supporting any level of order verification for reviews citing an order experience.

Do not buy from a company with a 14 day return policy!

What is not obvious when you buy is that you have only 14 days to return an item. It doesn’t come up until you start the process of a return. If you are buying gifts early for a birthday or Christmas as I was then you are screwed, you cannot exchange or return.i have never seen less than 28 days.

Dear Janine,
We’re very sorry to hear you were disappointed by the evaluation period we offer. Our 14-day evaluation period begins from the day your order is delivered and ends the day a return is dispatched — transit time isn’t counted, so it does represent a full 14 days of possession.

We do provide full details on our Returns Page and in the paperwork enclosed with every order. We also extend this period over Christmas for gift purchases, with returns for store credit accepted beyond the usual window.

We always want our customers to shop with confidence, so we appreciate your feedback and will keep reviewing how we make our returns policy clearer during checkout.

the best customer service I’ve had all year

Had an issue with Royal Mail collecting my item which has been on going for over a month. Spoke to Olive customer services today for the first time over many of my orders, the response time was super quick compared to any other company I’ve had to use & they immediately resolved my issue, recognising I was a regular customer which made me feel really valued. Olive is a great brand with such good quality products so it’s massively reassuring to see the customer service matches up to their products. Thank you Olive!!

I never received my order, however the team at Olive Clothing was super helpful and always made sure to keep me updated with every information they had. The order was refunded in full.

We're very sorry that the Portuguese postal service failed to identify your address, despite verification, and triggered a return-to-sender. We would always support a full refund in the rare case of a delivery failure like this. Delivery issues to Portugal are very rare indeed, and we very much share your disappointment on this exceptional occasion.

Sub-par customer service

The quality of the clothes I've bought from Olive has been alright in my experience - I liked the item I received but it didn't fit. That's on me because I'm in between sizes and took a gamble. I did however have a pretty rough experience with their customer service trying to process a return. Something went wrong with the shipping and I was trying to get some support or clarity from them but ultimately got neither. I felt less like I was being listened to or provided with further information and more that the same canned response was being reworded and resent to me each time I tried to ask a question, even when that information no longer made sense as a reply. I kind of got the vibe something went wrong on their end and they were lying to me about it to avoid taking responsibility.
Long story short, be careful about ordering from Olive overseas because the support is not there if anything goes wrong.

Reply from Olive (England — NOT Melbourne!)

Dear Morgan,
Thank you for your query with our customer services team, received late last night London time. Apologies for the incorrect assumption in our overnight correspondence that your return-to-sender was owing to the outbound label being visible — the usual cause of a bounce.

We’ve confirmed this morning that the delivery failure was due to the shipment being declared to AusPost as merchandise rather than ‘returned goods’. Our colleagues have now provided further details for you to ensure a valid declaration, and we’re extending the return window as long as is necessary for you while the issue’s resolved.

We’re also launching an Australian returns portal later this month that auto-generates the label and customs declaration, which will guarantee no repeat headaches with clearance.

Thank you for the straight feedback in the meantime.

Received a gift card instead of a refund

I ordered a hoodie and returned it a few days outside of the 14 day return window because one of my friends passed away and I had to fly outside of England for the funeral and I was given a gift card instead of a refund despite reaching out ti customer service to explain the issue. They’ve lost a customer, I am really disappointed.

Poor Craftsmanship

I don’t expect luxury-level craftsmanship, but I do expect basic quality control—especially at this price point. The Faye dress, while stylish and well-fitting, arrived with shockingly poor construction. The front ties were particularly disappointing: loose threads, unfinished edges, and seams that looked rushed and uneven.

Honestly, the quality is worse than any fast fashion brand I’ve purchased from—and at C$145, that’s unacceptable. It gives the impression that very little care was put into making this dress or considering the customer experience. I’m giving two stars only because the fit and design are unique to Olive. But unless the construction improves, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Reply from Olive (England — NOT Melbourne!)

Dear Margarita,
Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback on the Faye dress—and for highlighting its fit and design. We’re genuinely sorry the finishing on your piece fell short of expectation, and this is an issue we would always support you with a resolution for.

A quick word about materials, because they’re central to what we do: every Faye dress is cut from high-quality natural fibres selected for drape and longevity—we wouldn't expect our fabrics to be compared to high-volume fast-fashion production. We produce in small batches to avoid waste, but your experience shows we still have work to do in the consistency of quality control to match the standards of those fabrics. But once again, we would also provide the support you'd expect when we've fallen short of expectations.

Please be sure to contact our customer services to enlist that support, and we'll make sure to restore your confidence.

Terrible quality

Terrible quality, was given two trousers with stitching problems and with slight ripping in the pockets. Customer service was also horrible, terrible reply time and rude replies.

not the best, but still pretty good

i always get my packages within a few days of ordering which is very nice that the shipping is so fast. i understand the complaints about receiving clothes with loose threads because i think every piece of clothing i have bought from them has always come with threads hanging out. i do think that some of their stuff is a bit overpriced and the quality is not as bad as other people say, in my opinion. i will still order from this brand because its so up my alley and its fairly affordable

Disappointing product quality & no response from customer service

I purchased the Reiko Pants in Cream color about a year ago for around €100. I was initially very happy with the design, fit, and overall impression of the brand.

Unfortunately, after just two washes, the pants shrank by approximately 5 cm in length – despite me strictly following the care instructions. I always washed them at 30°C (well below the 40°C stated on the care label) and never used a tumble dryer. They were air-dried only.

When I contacted customer service, I was told that shrinkage is always due to improper laundering and that the item was out of warranty. I respectfully pushed back, provided clear documentation (including images and proof of purchase), and asked if they might reconsider as a gesture of goodwill – especially since I’ve always treated the item with care and followed instructions exactly.

Unfortunately, after that, I never received another reply, despite following up more than once.

This experience is disappointing – not only because of the apparent quality issue but also because of the lack of responsibility and customer care. For a product in this price range and a brand that promotes quality, I expected much better.
