Celestial necklace far too small.

Gifted the celestial silver moon/stars necklace. Attempted to wear at weekend and it couldn’t close around my neck, far too short. It looked so tiny I got confused wondering if it was actually an ankle chain. On measuring the length it was 13.5”. I contact company who tell me to move slider, chain should measure 15”. I did this and it only measured 14”. My petite friend tried it for me and found the necklace too tight. Olivia Burton refuse to acknowledge measurement is not accurate and tell me to discuss with person who gifted it to me. Unfortunately I was gifted it in January and only tried to wear it first time at weekend. So I’m left with a necklace that would only fit a younger or very slim person. At £65 this is a waste of a gift. The site does not advise on the length of the chain and I notice many reviews praising the product on site are from people buying as a gift for someone but, there are also reviews stating it is too short. Please be aware when viewing this product. In the responses from them they are refusing to acknowledge this chain is not the length it should be. I was sent an image of the chain from web, stating they have model shots showing length. In no way possible is the model wearing a 14” chain that is hanging loosely around her neck. The image on web is highly inaccurate in relation to length. I am now told they may have rounded from cm to the nearest inch. An inch shorter is hardly an approximation. A clever way to get out of resolving issues relating to gifts, despite fact there is obviously a fault. Their final response after sending an image to prove that it is only 14” it to tell me they will update their sizing chart and to again, go back to the person who bought this for me as a gift, despite the fact they won’t be able to do anything as it was bought over 49 days ago.
I have changed my review to add an extra star. After proof of my friends purchase I have to return the item and my friend will get a refund. Whilst this is a good outcome, I really had to push for this. It really should have been easier and I feel the reluctance to do this comes from the hope that someone will give up and end their complaint. Also, it does not take away from the length of the chain itself and lack of info on this.

Thank you for the feedback. When I was advised to contact my friend in second response, I did reply that the gift had been bough a few weeks prior, not only in my last correspondence. But, I am happy with the outcome as it would have been a waste of a gift. Thank you.

I have spoken to the team who advised that they did advise you from the beginning that you should speak to your friend about returning the item if it is not suitable as we do not offer exchanges. They were not aware it was outside of the returns period as this was not advised until the end of the email chain. As soon as the order details were provided the team did not hesitate to honour the return. Of course they cannot advise anything without knowing where and when it was purchased which is why they advised to speak to the person that gifted it to you about returning it.

Again, we are sorry that the item was not suitable for you and we will pass your feedback on to our design/production team but do believe the team assisted the best they could with the information that they had.

Olibia Burton - customer service experience

I approached Olibia Burton customer service in an inquiry regarding a watch strap that I saw on their website and wanted to order as a gift.
Due to the shipping destinations, I could not complete the acquisition via the website and had to approach customer service.
The customer service assistant took my inquiry very seriously. Informed me of the costs of shipping, assisting me in verifying the required watch strap size, and checking available inventory.
When she discovered that the required item was out of stock, she contacted their supplier.
Eventually, I was able to complete the purchase and received the item a few days ago, to my complete satisfaction.
The customer service took my inquiry seriously, and made a genuine effort to provide me with a very good customer service expirance. As a matter of fact, one of the best customer service experiences I have had with an online retailer.

I bought a lovely ring…

I bought a lovely ring from Olivia Burton but within 6 months a couple of the stones had fallen out. I contacted customer support and Adrian helped. They were very understanding and agreed, even though it isn’t included in their warranty, that they would replace it. Literally no hassle and completely understanding of the situation- something I think is quite rare these days.

I have nothing but praise for the way…

I have nothing but praise for the way my problem was dealt with by Libby. Unfortunately I had lost a hoop from a pair of earrings my daughter gave me. Libby was kind enough to send a new hoop to me & my daughter will never know. I love the very pretty earrings & would recommend this company. Thank you for the excellent service

Bridal party jewellery

I ordered 3 honey bee rings from Olivia Burton for my bridal party, they are beautiful and the packaging is so lovely. Attention to detail was gorgeous 💕💕💕

Best Customer Experience!

I recently contacted the Olivia Burton Customer Service team regarding a missing stone on two rings (one received as a gift and the other I purchased). I didn't have the receipts but the team (Adrian) was able to obtain the records and I sent my proof of purchase. They were so helpful and responded to my concerns and offered support straight away. This has been by far the best customer experience I've encountered and would highly recommend their products and their after service care! Well done Olivia Burton and Adrian from Customer Service is a true credit to you! Thank you!!!

My husband gave me a beautiful Olivia…

My husband gave me a beautiful Olivia Burton charm bracelet for Xmas from my kids as he gets me something from there every year. I was thrilled with it however after 2 days the charms were falling off just from wearing it for a few hours. After a week all but one had fallen off. And 2 lost. I emailed customer service who said that they are detachable and there is nothing more they can do. Very disappointing as not a cheap bracelet at £140 so would not expect them to fall off so easily of their own accord detachable or not. Very unsatisfied and disappointing as have been a regular customer for a couple of years now so would make me think twice now and warn others

I received a watch for my birthday in…

I received a watch for my birthday in August 2019 yesterday 2 of the number dials fell off. I contacted customer service only to be told as the purchase was over 2 years ago I would have to pay for the repair myself. This is not a cheap item it was a considerable purchase I certainly did not expect it to only last such a relativity short amount it time it looks awful. Sadly I would not recommend the quality of the watch at all.

Incredible customer service

I got an Olivia Burton watch for Christmas, but within a week the battery had stopped working. Naturally, I was disappointed, and dreaded having to make contact with customer service, these things are rarely straightforward. How wrong I was! Libby went above and beyond to get the situation sorted for me, and a replacement is now in the post. I won’t go into all the details, but she really did go out of her way to help and I can’t thank her enough. So excited now to get my new watch!

Awful

Had an Olivia Burton necklace bought for me for my birthday last year, looked lovely when it came now looks awful, has turned black and the clasp is yellow leading me to believe it is not silver. I contacted Olivia Burton customer service by email, they were quick to respond, and asked for pics which I sent, they also wanted a copy of the receipt. I explained that it was a gift for my birthday and I do not have a receipt, was then told ther was nothing they can do for me! I used to love Olivia Burton! I will not be buying anything again.

Very disappointing lack of quality and Customer Service.

Very disappointing lack of quality control and then response to the issue.
On Christmas Day I opened a present from my husband: a rose gold strap for my Olivia Burton watch.
After breaking both thumb nails in an attempt to fit it to my watch I realised that the barrel that the pin retracts into (which fits onto the watch itself) wasn’t flush with the step. This meant that the strap was never going to fit.
My husband contacted the company and returned the strap. Ten days later and we’ve still not received a replacement for the strap.
It’s very poor quality and worse service; you expect a LOT better from a company who charges so much for their products.
This is the third strap for the watch. (The watch is great - no issues 2 years on). The leather straps don’t last a year which is why we went for the metal bracelet style this time!
Still waiting for them to send a replacement.

Update: FIVE weeks later and a watch strap which was fit for purpose actually arrived. No apologies, no expedited delivery: Nothing. They sent a shoddy unuseable product then dragged their feet to rectify their mistake.
We will never buy another product from
them.

Tarnishes, stains and falls apart

Received the Bejewelled Classics Rainbow Interlink Ring Gold for my birthday. Was so happy and received so many compliments, but within a couple of months it was tarnishing, losing stones and turning my finger black and green. I understand losing the gold plating, but for the price and reputation of this brand, you’d expect sterling silver underneath or something that doesn’t stain, not cheap zinc and copper. I contacted customer services to simply be told this was normal and wouldn’t be considered a manufacturing fault. Bitterly disappointed.

Please kindly be aware that the product materials are stated on the packaging. Since brass is usually made of a combination of zinc and copper, it can sometimes react with your skin leaving a slightly green/black colouring. Please kindly note that this is not harmful to your skin and can be minimised by avoiding any creams/moisture however can also be affected by the natural acidity in peoples skin. Sadly as this is not considered a manufacturing fault we are unable to accept a return on this occasion, I do apologise.

Above and beyond what i expected

Above and beyond what i expected! Ordered a gold rainbow bracelet for a gift and it arrived in the most stunning box, all with lovely tissue paper and wrapped up so beautifully! The bracelet is gorgeous on its own but the way it arrives makes it 10 times more gorgeous!

Poor workmanship/ Materials unpeer with the attractive design. Olivia Burton Butterfly enchanted garden series…

I bought Olivia Burton Butterfly series watch as a Christmas Gift to my wife 2 years ago and she loved it with tears BUT, the watch do not last as after barely a year, the minute hand just came off. As the reseller(City Chain) of this watch in my Country, Singapore stop distribution, they do not honor the warranty and ask me go else where to repair this watch. The watch is definitely beautiful but the workmanship and materials quality is on peer with the $2 mass produced watch from China/Thailand you can find in any street market. Leather strip simply just peeled and dis-coloured and the metal butterfly icon darken and fades in shininess. Today I am looking for another watch as a gift and came across your brand but, how I am a to dare to buy your watch with such poor quality again?

I am not insulting but to feedback that such nice designer's watch should pair with great workmanship or at least make it a standard quality that is beyond any watch you can buy cheaply from street vendors. The warranty from distributor wasn't even strictly honored too. These definitely discounted my trusts and confidence towards Olivia Burton. Kindly take this feedback in to heart as I still have faith in this brand but not want to be disappointed by the quality again.

Look at the standard reply from the service recovery team. Not even to my point of poor materials and workmanship standard. Viewers be the judge.
