Very Poor Customer service and lack of empathy for customer
I am writing to provide feedback regarding the service I received from a One Call agent (TW5) following a motoring incident on Thursday 18th June 2026 at approximately 10:30 hrs.
The incident occurred when my caravan became uncoupled from my car while making a right turn, resulting in damage to both vehicles. Unfortunately, the handling of this claim was significantly below expectations for the following reasons:
- Lack of Technical Understanding: The agent (TW5) appeared unable to comprehend how the vehicles were attached or the nature of the separation.
- Incorrect Information & Failed Transfers: I was initially told I was not insured with One Call. The agent then refused to identify the supposed insurer, citing "Data Protection," and transferred me to two different incorrect numbers where I received no reply.
- Misrouting of Claims: During a follow-up call today, Friday 19th June 2026, TW5 transferred me to Allianz Commercial. After a 15-minute wait, an agent named Craig informed me that Allianz Commercial does not handle private cars and that my actual insurer is LV.
- Poor Efficiency: It was only through Craig’s assistance that I obtained the correct contact details for LV. After a further 20-minute wait, I finally reached an agent named Araya, who handled the claim professionally.
I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience. One Call proved to be "several calls," and it is clear that agent TW5 requires significant training regarding attention to detail, technical knowledge of vehicle attachments, and customer empathy.
As a result of this experience, I will not be renewing my policy through One Call when it expires. I will also be sharing this feedback via external review platforms as requested in your previous correspondence.

What a total waste of time this company…
What a total waste of time this company is. Took my car in for repair which included paint repair. Took 3 weeks to complete and when i went to collect, although their quality assessor had passed as good to go, I immediately saw it was the wrong colour. I was told they would order a new part, sray the correct colour and callout to my home to fit. That was 2 weeks ago. Ive now sent at least 15 emails and basically am ignored. Spend your money elsewhere guys
The repair done to the car was shoddy
The repair done to the car was shoddy, needing rectification work. It then took 5 weeks for them to take the car back, after I had spent hours and hours on calls to them. Several times their phone system kept me on hold for 30 minutes, then cut me off without answering.
Their text messaging is broken too - they tried to send me a link by text several times and all that comes through is "https" with the rest cut off.
And most hilariously, they text a link at the end of each call for you to review the call, that then goes to a "404 Page Not Found".

Massively inflated costs to fix issue
The engineers sent as part of my emergency cover attempted to charge me £132 for a part which costs £8. In addition to this, they attempted to charge me £350 labour cost.
A local plumber fixed the issue for £125 including labour and parts.
Be aware of what you’re being charged for with this company.

It is extremely difficult to cancel your policy once you get their insurance. I have phoned around and been passed around and found I had been transferred to a Platinum Club (Invitation only )against my will and discovered I needed to pursue them in order to have my policy cancelled. Such a time taker!
