1 star — Absolutely terrible experience
I signed up for a capped contract with One Utility Bill (OUB), but their staff incorrectly registered me on an unlimited contract. At the end of the contract, I was charged an additional £220.
When I first contacted them, they insisted that I had signed up for an unlimited contract. I questioned this because, if it really was an unlimited contract, why was I being charged an additional £220 at the end?
After several phone calls, I eventually spoke with Scott, and they finally acknowledged that the issue was caused by an error on their side.
Initially, OUB only wanted to refund the £220. However, I had been carefully tracking my actual gas and electricity usage, so I explained that they should refund the difference between what I had paid for the package and the cost of my actual usage.
I then had to provide them with a detailed calculation of my usage to prove that OUB actually owes me money. That refund is over £1,000.
The most frustrating part? It has been over FOUR MONTHS, and I am still waiting for my refund.
This has involved countless phone calls, calculations, explanations and chasing, all because of an error that OUB themselves eventually admitted was on their end.
If you are considering using One Utility Bill, I strongly recommend avoiding them. You may find yourself spending months fighting to get money back that you are legitimately owed.
Absolutely unacceptable customer service and refund handling. Avoid OUB at all costs.

Literally not had a bad experience with any of the advisors.
We got the £50 cashback offer when we signed up and forgot about it, called up and Victoria D helped us out a lot, she was absolutely lovely and got us sorted within about 2 minutes.

Top tier service. Zero worries .
Such a great service! We have been using them for 3 months now and went with the unlimited usage for electricity and gas, along with water and internet included. It's helped us so much no having to worry about 4 different providers and being able to just pay once and forget about it. We have a reptile which requires a lot of heating and electricity, and oneutilitybill has allowed us to never worry about using too much. Thank you!

Figuring out utility bills was very overwhelming and confusing however Jack was incredibly helpful explaining all the different terms I didn’t understand and very patient when I asked questions. The customer service was incredible.
