It is absolute dog waste to use this. It doesn't work. It screws your customers over. Only thing good is the UI. That's about it.

Been using Affirm for years....financed well over $10,000 of merchandise during this time....went to purchase from Amazon and Walmart...now wants all this biometric data?....of course I have no issue with logging into my account....to make payments....nah....I'll pass...sorry Walmart and Amazon....retailers are the losers here.....not me

Trying to sign up for Trading 212. Then it takes me to onfido for the ID verification. I've spent hours over the last few days 3 days trying to provide photo of my passport, and the system comes back with : photo too blurry or missing part of the document, which is not the case. Abysmal and broken process. Other trading platforms ID verification worked first time. Trading 212 is losing a customer

Who regulates this company to collect personal photographic id?
Trading 212 has, without my consent, foisted Onfido on me. I cannot log on to my long held a/c until I comply with Onfido's demand for me to present them with personal id. I'm annoyed at T212's disrespect for its clients and Onfido's lack of data protection advice

Logging into my trading app it asks for a quick pic to verify, then takes myself to Onfido. Then they want all my personal info - driving licence, passport, birthdate - god knows what else they want. I have absolutely no idea what they will do with all my identity documents and refuse to give them it. I do not see them on the FCA website. A 3rd party service I never heard of taking all my personal data - what could possibly go wrong.

Useless. Klarna should find another way to let customers take a photo of their ID, as I've given up, now. Over two hours trying to buy using Klarna card created, permissions on camera etc. all checked. Let IKEA lose out on a sale. I'll ensure I check which permissions are needing before I waste time buying things like this. I will write this review on IKEA, too. Hopefully it enough people complain, they'll ditch this ridiculous company for verification.

Third world, says all my ID is low quality when its readable and legit. Rubbish absolute rubbish.

As said above: "Not suit for Purpose". Poorly designed, depends on an image verification and perhaps OCR...
Easy to automate, therefore cheap to implement but unreliable.
Also too much PII is asked for. I doubt this would pass GDPR specs.
If servers are breached, all PII is copied out and put on the dark web.
Would not do business with any company that required me to use this software.
There are better ways to do this.

This app is so stupid, totally useless. Should take a photo of the document from rear camera, but it turns on front camera and then it immediatelly turns it off. So I'm not able to verify the documents. This is crap.

trying to use affirm. no matter how many times i set the permissions to allow. Even still doesnt allow access. Affirm is going to lose alot of business because of them.

-Tried Uninstalling Chrome and Reinstalling
-Tried different phone
-Even tried the affirm app to go to the purchase still requiring this ridiculous Company.
-Followed even the guides that were given

Affirm if you see this message. Please look into this. ive been with affirm for a few years now. and now im unable to use them. i no longer want to till this is resolved.

*i dont know if it works on Apple products but sure doesnt work on Android and im use the Z Fold series

very bad service, when uploading passport / BRP card photos, it says "something goes wrong" more than 20 times even when the photos are very clear , it drives people crazy

Worse than Mitek and they aren't great by any means. If like me (and other reviewers) you had trouble getting past their AI (Artificial Incompetence), FWIW, my successful attempt was taken under normal room lighting with no natural light at all.

If you want a lot of angry clients/partners, force them to verify their identity using this service. It requieres always at least 10 - 20 attempts.

The phone app does not work with Hawaii State ID/Driver's License with Gold Star. For Onfido to work with WorldRemit, I had to log onto the WorldRemit site by computer and then use the link sent to my phone and then use the phone to take the pictures and upload. Acceptance and Approval was almost immediate. However approval does not show up in the app. GARBAGE!
