Online consultation for acne

I sent in my concerns and pictures and got a prescription the next day, ready to pick up two days later. It was really efficient and I’ve already started to notice some changes (2 weeks of use)

Consult time and service was fine but I was told I would get a message when my order was ready at the chosen Boots store and I never did. I was told to call the store - I called over 5 times and they never picked up so I had to go myself to check it was ready

You should have received a notification once your order was ready, and we understand how frustrating it must have been not to receive this and then be unable to get through to the store by phone. As the pharmacy store operates separately from our service, communication regarding collection is handled by them directly, but we appreciate that this experience did not meet expectations. As the pharmacy store is separate from our service, we do not have visibility or control over their stock levels. Once a prescription is issued, it is the responsibility of the chosen pharmacy to dispense and, if necessary, order in the medication.

If a medication is out of stock with the supplier/manufacturer, we do take steps to remove it from our website to prevent patients from placing orders unnecessarily.

Ordering online was great but I…

Ordering online was great but I requested to pick up from boots store and they handed me the box in front of customers nothing was private. I thought the package would be in a sealed bag but it was just in a clear bag with the contents fully visible.

I left a medication at home in the US…

I left a medication at home in the US when I came to visit my daughter and son-in-law in Scotland. A neighbor told me about private prescriptions and I was relieved to find boots online. The process was very easy and the staff were very caring. My only wish was that it took almost a week after the prescription to get the medication. Sincere thank you to all who helped.

Did not receive any txt message from…

Did not receive any txt message from chosen pick up store. Was advised to call them but no one could be bothered to pick up the phone. Went to the store 4 days later and was informed our phone is broken. Amazingly l could hear it ringing but no one bothered to answer it. My item was in store but was told you can't have it until later this afternoon. I asked could l be given an approximate time but was informed can't do that.
It's disappointing that an established company like Boots has established such poor levels of customer service

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service.
I had 1 tablet out of a 6 month supply.
After that one tablet ,I felt very anxious and my heart started racing.
I emailed Boots doctor for a refund and they said no.
