Only Essex Driving School Reviews 

I had Mo at first who scammed me out of £120 as I paid for a block booking, he disappeared and never came to my lessons, Only Essex didn’t do much to help me get my money back.

I then had Paul, who is actually a good teacher but after a while he became quite condescending to the point it kind of chips away at ur confidence and the lessons become counterproductive. Whilst its important to take criticism in driving lessons, Paul puts you down & makes the mistake u make feel personal, that kind of anxiety only leads to u making more mistakes. Examples “ ur the only who can’t do this I don’t understand it” “this is what is gonna make u fail”, not very productive. He won’t tell u the mistake u made, he makes u do the same road over & over again until u figure it out for urself (if you’ve missed a road sign). He’s not the most professional, talks badly of clients he had previously EVERY lesson, makes it a bit awkward.

Wouldn’t recommend, projects his personal issues onto clients .

I had Paul until his car unfortunately broke and changed to Jason. I was such a nervous driver but Jason kept me calm and focused from the start and I’m so grateful as I’ve finally passed my test! Would honestly recommend Only Essex Driving :)

Just want to say a big thank you to Jason my ADI Instructor and the Only Essex Driving School Team. I can't express how grateful I am for the help and support I have recieved throughout my training. I started my training months before covid-19 pandemic and the team have been beside me through thick and thin. Jason was always there to advise and support me throughout the whole process and was always professional, approachable and flexible towards my training needs. It was a very client centered approach and i thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. I would highly recommend the school to anyone looking to kick start their ADI Training.

I had Jason as my instructor. He was always willing to answer any of my questions and helped me pass my test. I would recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

Mark was always on time and never late and he taught me everything necessary to pass first time. His car was easy to use and learn in and he was helpful at every step.

Been having lessons since 2020 august. Due to covid everything had been stop and start however my instructor Jason kept me on track and constantly pushed me to be the best I could be for the test. He’s a great instructor. Highly recommend this company. Due to that I passed first time :)
