Taking Grade 11 Biology with OVS was a really good experience. The lessons were clear and easy to follow, which made everything less stressful. I especially liked being able to work at my own pace since I could take more time on harder topics. It also helped prepare me for the college program I plan to apply to.
The course itself was interesting, and my teacher was helpful. They answered my questions and marked my work fairly quickly, which made it easy to stay on track. I also used the practice tests and online textbook to review, and they were definitely helpful.
Overall, I’d recommend OVS if you want a flexible and straightforward learning experience.

I had an excellent experience taking SBI4U with Ontario Virtual School. One of the best parts of the course was the flexibility, it allowed me to work at my own pace, which made it much easier to balance my schedule and stay on track. The course was also very well-structured, making complex biology concepts clear and manageable.
The teacher was very responsive and supportive. Whenever I had questions, I received clear and timely answers, and my assignments were marked quickly with helpful feedback that helped me improve.
I also found the practice tests and course materials extremely useful. They were well-aligned with the assessments and helped me feel confident and prepared.
Overall, OVS provides a flexible and efficient learning environment, especially for students who are motivated and want to succeed. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be adding more interactive elements or live sessions to enhance engagement.

I recently finished the MHF4U course and was able to clearly follow the lessons and understand the concepts with the extensive homework we were given. The teacher was quick to reply to all of the emails I sent as well quick to return marks for tests, I would recommend people to use this school for online learning

Ontario Virtual was a wonderful experience. My teacher was extremely positive and encouraging and the course itself (Politics) was full of detail and relevant information. Highly recommend.

Taking a course with OVS was such a great experience for people who like studying online same as me, honestly nothing was hard, every lesson was easy to understand and you can repeat the video multiple times if you don't understand it which is great and what I like the most is the quizzes after each lesson it's like a quick practice after every lesson you take to ensure that you understand what's going on and if you get stuck on any question there's a quick video that explains it to you.
I highly recommend you taking any course with OVS!! Such a great experience for me

Taking a course with OVS was honestly one of the best academic experiences I've ever had. The idea where there are no due dates offers the perfect opportunity to balance the course along with in person courses. The content was also clear and organised, and even if you have questions the instructor responds quickly, so never once did I feel stressed about unanswered questions. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

OVS outlined the material in a way that it was super easy to follow along with, a way in which my day school could not. Along with the support from my teacher, I was able to achieve my desired grade.

Had a 4U course with Ms. Ulicny. Tests were marked quickly, emails seen and great admin overall. Course is entirely self paced, giving you little pressure if done during the school year or during busy times.

Course material was outlined clearly and easy to follow. I really enjoyed that the course was asynchronous so I could complete whenever there was a calm period aside from my main schoolwork. I am glad OVS offered this opportunity as my high school does not offer a health and nutrition course. I highly recommend!

My experience with OVS Chemistry (SCH4U) was very positive overall. The best part was the flexibility, since I could work at my own pace and fit the course around my schedule. I chose to take the course with OVS instead of my regular day school because it gave me a chance to improve my mark and learn in a way that worked better for me. The teacher was helpful and usually responded to questions and marked evaluations in a reasonable amount of time, which made the course feel organized and manageable. I also found the practice tests, exams, and online textbook helpful because they gave me a better idea of what to expect and helped me prepare. The school office and student success team were supportive when needed, which made the process smoother. My marks were also posted to OUAC, which was important for university admissions and made the experience less stressful. Overall, OVS was a GREAT option for me.

I had a very good experience with Ontario Virtual school specifically because of the flexibility and the ability to work at my own pace to balance other responsibilities. There were many resources provided for me to learn to the best of my ability and be fully prepared for summative assignments. Lastly, the teachers are very quick to respond to any emails regarding and difficulties I'm dealing with. Overall it was an amazing experience and I definitely recommend!!

Great experience and super quick support from teachers and admin. The course was just as rigorous as when I took it in-class, and it was nice to be able to do it at my own pace.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take CPW4U through OVS. This was my first time experiencing education through OVS, and it was nothing but amazing. The structure of the course, content, and assignments were easy to access and complete; my instructor was extremely efficient with marking and returning assignments, usually within 1-2 days. Now, because of OVS, I will be able to go into Grade 12 this September while already having a U credit! Thank you, OVS, will definitely take again.

I would 100% recommend their services. The teachers are very accommodating, they always have quick response times and they always give feedback and assignments get graded very fast. I personally did two courses with OVS and they give discounts at checkpoints like completing a course final or midterm. They have scholarships for students both intentional and domestic, while this wasn’t a priority for me this might be for other people. The admin was always accommodating and helped me as a grade 12 student adjust and understand how the OUAC system worked. Overall great service and great people.

My teacher was very responsive and always answered questions quickly, and all of my evaluations were marked fast (within 2-3 days). The practice tests and course resources were also very useful when preparing for assessments. The platform was easy to use and everything, including posting marks to OUAC, went smoothly. OVS has helped me get the grades I needed to get into universities I didn't think I was able to get into.

Since my start, and now completion of the course, I have recommended multiple friends to take OVS for the same course. Every friend that took my recommendation has said that they enjoy the teaching style and self paced aspects of the course a lot, and have regretted their choice to take math through OVS. The course I took was advanced functions. OVS was overall a great experience, tests were marked in a timely manner, teacher was respectful, responded quickly, learning material was really strong and prepared me for the tests well. Tests were also well put together, overall the experience was enjoyable.

The lessons at OVS School were very helpful and very detailed, making it easy to understand the material. The teacher was really nice and she replied within 24 hours, and if it was during office hours she responded in just about half an hour. I really appreciated the support and guidance throughout my learning. Highly recommend!
